Suzu said, and we started walking… But there was one thing that I had forgotten.

… It’s easy to get lost.

We had already pointed out the direction of the next city from where the beast had left, but if we got lost, there was nothing we could do.

A voice unexpectedly called out to us from behind, and thinking it was the remaining party from earlier, I put my hand on Reizanmaru. It seemed that Suzu was the same way.

There was a rustling sound and a boy who looked to be around our age appeared.

Behind him was a boy and two girls who looked to be party members. There were 4 of them in total.

The girl suggested that we go with her to the next city. I honestly appreciated it.

The leader of the four who spoke to us first, Yūji-san, with his distinctive blue hair and blue eyes, spoke up.

With him, the two of us, another boy with swaying green hair, Mittsū-san, and an energetic girl with pink twin-tails, Fu-Rin-san, responded. And then Mārin-san, who is a bit intelligent with long black hair and glasses, replies.

As for everyone’s equipment…

Yūji-san was lightly armed with a one-handed sword and a small shield, while Mittsū-san had slightly pointy ears and was equipped with a wooden bow.

Fu-Rin-san was the same height as me and carried a two-handed mace that didn’t fit her cute appearance.

Mārin-san seems to be a magician like Suzu.

For some reason they were surprised when I showed them our equipment, but what’s so surprising about them… ?

As for the formation, Yūji-san and I were in the vanguard, Suzu and Mārin-san were in the middle guard, and Mittsū-san and Fu-Rin-san were in the rear guard. Normally, the magicians would be in the rear guard, but Mittsū-san said, 「I’ll protect the back」, so here we are.

I was also declared to be protected by Yūji-san.
