on a road near the entrance to mystic falls, you can see a bus followed by three police cars in each car there were 2 policemen

The policeman then came back to reality and in desperation pulled out his gun and aimed at the vampire and shot

so when the executioners killed the dead apostle the zombies did not disappear and a new supernatural species was formed after all the zombies started to turn humans into zombies
