Lu Lu, the Prophet (2)

After Qiao Yi got Lu Lu to agree, she discussed with Song He which kindergarten would be best to send her to.

“Why are we changing Lu Lu’s kindergarten?”

“Well, Lu Lu said that her bad step-sister bullies her in that kindergarten. Didn’t you say that you didn’t want her to be in any way affiliated with her step mother?”

“Which one should we move her to?”

All the kindergartens in Song He’s Imperial House district were good, but Song He didn’t know a thing about schools.

Since Lu Lu was not in their custody, they would have to pull some strings to transfer Lu Lu to another kindergarten.

Fortunately, Qiao Yi was skilled in negotiation. Plus, she had a son of her own, so she understood how to do all of this.

“Let her go to the one Jiang Jiang goes to.”

Jiang Jiang was Qiao Yi’s son.

Song He trusted Qiao Yi completely, and he knew that she was a better fit to take care of this situation.

“Okay, but remember that Lu Lu’s filming is starting soon and once it begins, it will go on for a couple of months. Does she still need to go for this semester?” he added.

“Aren’t there still a few more days? Let her go to put her name on the attendance list and meet the students and teachers.”

“Okay, I’ll listen to you.” he agreed, since he was very inexperienced in parenting himself.

“Then I’ll let people arrange it. However, if you want to take care of Lu Lu, you will have to get custody of her from her stepmom.”

She heard of Lu Lu stepmother’s evil treatment. Letting her hold onto her custody was like having a ticking time bomb; sooner or later, it will go off and get a lot more complicated.

Qiao Yi looked at Song He, whose career she single handedly made.

While he had a good net worth and acting skills, there was the matter of his personality. He was too impulsive and didn’t think things through before pulling the trigger.

She really didn’t know if Lu Lu would be troublesome for his career.

If the media uses the three-year-old Lu Lu in hopes of ruining Song He’s career, even if it would be clarified later, he would lose tons of fans.

Even though Qiao Yi expected it to happen, she didn’t want to stop it.

First, she knew Song He’s personality. If he sets his mind to something, he would do anything to achieve that goal. No one could convince him to stop.

The second is that she wanted Song He to learn from this situation. If he was to become more mature, he had to experience some things first.

“We have to hire a lawyer,” she said.

“Good work, Sister Qiao. Sorry for the trouble.”

Qiao Yi patted Song He’s arm. “It’s okay, I also feel bad for Lu Lu.”

Tomorrow will be Monday, and a brand endorsed by Song He would be opening another store. He needed to go advertise for the shop and to take some pictures. Unfortunately, Song He couldn’t take Lu Lu with him. He had to stay home since she hasn’t been transferred to the new kindergarten yet.

Fortunately, Qiao Yi hired a nanny. If Lu Lu were to stay home alone, that would be dangerous.

Lu Lu looked up from her chair to her brother, waving at him with a spoon.

“Brother, take work seriously please.”

At first Song He thought that Lu Lu would cling to him and not let him leave, but he was surprised when she instead told him to take work seriously after he told her he needed to work.

“I get it, you’ve said it so many times,” he replied after a moment.

“Brother, I’m reminding you. You can’t make money if you don’t work hard.”

If her brother couldn’t make money, then she’ll have to live in this crappy house forever. Lu Lu wanted to live in a shiny rainbow house like the children’s restaurant, not this black and white dump.

Ever since he was judged by Lu Lu to be a poor person, Song He was sensitive about the word “money.”

If Lu Lu was telling him to work hard, he knew he couldn’t argue over her. “Fine fine. Listen to miss Liu and don’t cause any trouble… I’ll come back and spank you if you misbehave.”

Lu Lu sighed with frustration. Her brother wouldn’t make much money acting like this.
