Sky watched as the level seven Sin Saint Monster fall to it's death. It's eyes were spewing fire in it's last moments as it looked at it's killer.

Sky immediately activated his Wrath Aura and started his Wrath cultivation. The maximum 'wrath' a monster could emit in it's final moment depends on it's level. The higher the level of the monster, the higher Wrath it could release in it's final moments.

Sky's Wrath cultivation skyrocketed as he reached level twenty five by the end of his cultivation. He felt the wrath in his body starting to boil. He felt as if he could completely topple a mountain now.

Ryu looked at his current level and yawned. "A mountain of strength." She said.

"A mountain of strength?" Sky looked at Ryu with an interesting gaze. Why did she mention a mountain now.

Ryu nonchalantly leaned on his chest and explained. "The amount of strength your physical body can exhibit right now. It is measured in mountains. Right now you have a single mountain of strength."

"Each time you increase a level now, your strength would increase by twice. This means that at 'level twenty six' you would have two mountains of strength, and at 'level twenty seven' you would have four mountains of strength."

Sky nodded his head in understanding. Seems like at higher levels, different terms are used to measure physical strength. Right now his physical strength was one mountain.

.......

A week passed, but Sky was still hiding behind the ruins of the collapsed cave. His level was still 'twenty five' in Wrath cultivation, but his Sloth Cultivation has increased from level seventeen to level twenty.

Sky had killed numerous Red Monsters the past week, but now he was faced with a problem. After a week from the start of the invasion, all the Red Monsters have already went to the deeper parts of the forest. There were hardly any monster in his place.

Sky steeled his heart and moved towards the core of the forest, where the higher level monsters, who could kill him with their single fart lived.

Ryu made herself comfortable in Sky's hands, while he walked with his full attention on his surroundings. He constantly searched his surroundings trying to find the first signs of danger.

He now had about one mountain of strength, but it was still not enough to survive the inner part of the forest. He needed to be on constant guard if he did not want to die to a random attack from a random monster.

Sky was fifty kilometers away from the core of the forest. He moved slowly, with Ryu in his arms and his eyes on the surroundings.

"Whoosh! Bang! Bang!" Suddenly, Sky's ears perked up as he heard sounds of fighting from two kilometers away.

Hearing these sounds, Sky grew hesitant. Should he go to take a look? or should he just ignore and move on safely?

Finally his curiosity won over his fear and he slowly moved towards the sounds, his eyes still not leaving the surroundings.

When he reached the scene, Sky saw three Red Monsters bullying a small deer like monster. This small deer like monster was just 'level thirty three' while the Red monsters surrounding it were level 'forty three'.

The deer like monster was fleeing while she fought. But the Red Monsters gave chase leisurely. Obviously the Red Monsters were faster than the deer like monster and they were bullying the small deer.

Even though it was plain bullying, Sky could do nothing but watch. The deer like monster who was being bullied, had about 250 mountains of strength.

This was 250 times stronger than the current Sky. There was no need to mention about the Red Monsters that were chasing. They were at least ten thousand times stronger than the current Sky. They could kill Sky with just a wave from their hands.

Sky still had his bone sword which had been upgraded numerous times. With the Bone Sword in his hand, Sky could exhibit ten times his current power. He could exhibit a strength of ten mountains, but it was still not enough to kill these three monsters.

His only way to save the deer would be to use his Lazy Aura and kill them by the time they recover. But Sky was reluctant to use his Lazy Aura.

He could only use the Lazy Aura once a day and Sky did not know what awaited him in the core of the Forest. In an extreme case of fatal danger, Sky could use the Lazy Aura to save himself.

Sky did not want to use his ace to save a random monster from the EverNight Forest. After all, Monsters from the EverNight Forest were also his enemies.

Sky watched as the deer like monster get hit by the Red Monster's fire breath. The deer like monster was obviously in pain but it did not scream. It just continued running away.

But as the time passed, Sky noticed that something was strange with the Deer. It was obviously hurt numerous times but it's speed remained constant. While the Red Monsters chases the Deer deeper into the Forest, they were obviously showing signs of tiredness, but the Deer was still running at a constant speed.

Ryu yawned lazily and saw the Deer like monster that was running away. Her eyes brightened for a second before reverting back. She got down from Sky's arms and stretched her perfect body.

"Help that Beast. If you could leave good impression on it, you might be the luckiest person to be born. Even I will envy you." Ryu yawned lazily and said.

Sky was shocked at Ryu's words. This sentence 'even I will envy you.' hit him hard. Something that could make the strongest being envy him. It was obviously a damn good thing.

He immediately jumped out of his hiding place, and activated his Lazy Aura. Next second he was beside the three monsters, slashing their heads off with his bone sword.

With a clean arc from Sky's Bone Sword, three lazy Monster's heads flew into air before hitting the ground.

Sky turned and looked at the deer like monster with anticipation. Did he gain the Deer's good impression? This question weighted a lot in his mind now.

But when he looked at the Deer once more, he was stunned. That flawless texture and the skin that radiated a pale blue in the night filled EverNight Forest. This Deer was completely a nature treasure.

It was so stunningly beautiful that Sky fell in a daze just by taking a clear look at it's body. Sky immediately used his 'Dragon Eyes' to dispel this affect and see through this seemingly simple monster.

While Sky was watching the Deer with his 'Dragon Eyes', the Deer was also watching her saviour. She did not know why this human had suddenly jumped out and killed her pursuers, but she knew that humans were not thrust worthy from it's inherited memories.

It's inherited memories had depicted humans as scums who would take advantage of their own siblings for power and profits. So she was very wary of this human.

But her inherited memories also said that one must repay the favours one got from others. So even though she was wary of this human, she still did not go, so as to repay the help she got.

As Sky looked at the monster with his 'Dragon Eyes', his expression became more and more weird. Is the 'Dragon Eyes' malfunctioning? Sky could not help but doubt his 'Dragon Eyes' ability for the first time in his life.

When he looked at the Deer with his 'Dragon Eyes', Sky saw a number that was ridiculous to the extreme. This seemingly simple Deer had a health that started with a number nine and continued extending without stop.

This Deer was basically immortal according to his Dragon Eyes.

"Don't use the Dragon Eyes. There is no ability in the world which could see through 'The God Beasts'." Ryu floated above Sky's head as she explained.

The Deer which was wary towards Sky until now, lost all her wariness when Ryu appeared. She excitedly ran towards Ryu and jumped into her arms.

Ryu was stunned for second before she turned towards Sky, and gave him a mocking look. She seemed to be mocking him for being too unattractive.

Sky fumed in anger at both Ryu and this Deer. What the fuck? I used up my Ace card which could probably save my life to save you. but you, instead of jumping into my arms, jumped straight towards a lady when she appeared.

Don't you have conscience. And Ryu, what the fuck did I do to deserve a look like that. Let me tell you, I am the most attractive person this world. Beauties would line up with a just a word from me. It's just that this Deer might be Male.

Even though Sky consoled himself by telling himself that this Deer was Male. He knew that she was female from his Dragon Eyes. Clearly he was less attractive to the Deer than Ryu.

Sky saw as the human sized Deer shrink to a small cat like size in Ryu's arms. It excitedly nudged it's small head with Ryu's. Seems like she liked Ryu a lot.

"What is this monster?" Sky asked. Seeing them acting like lovers repulsed Sky's male instinct and he asked this question to hide his awkwardness.

"She is a God Beast. One of the only Nine." Ryu replied as she played with the cat sized God Beast.

"Beast? God Beast? What type of Monster is it?" Sky obviously did not know about God Beasts.

Ryu thought for sometime and replied with a question"What is the strongest being in this world?" She asked.

"The weapon of Sin." Sky answered immediately.

"What is this world?" Ryu continued asking questions.

"Martial Sin World." Sky answered.

"Well, like how the Weapons of Sin are the Strongest Beings in Martial Sin World. The God Beasts are the Strongest beings from 'Martial Beast World'." Ryu answered.

"Martial Beast World? Are you saying that this World does not cultivate Sin Laws, but the Beast Laws." Sky immediately had a thought.

Ryu smiled. Sky was pretty smart to guess the things. He was right. In the Martial Beast World, they cultivated the 'Nine Beast Laws' like how they cultivated the Seven Sin Laws in the Martial Sin World.

This answer really showed Sky how less information he had on the worlds. "But What is a God Beast doing in Martial Sin World? Isn't it supposed to be in the Martial Beast World?" Sky asked the most important question.

Ryu was silent for quite sometime before she opened her mouth. "Well, it's a complicated situation. The previous Nine God Beasts were killed. This beast is a newly born God Beast. As for why this new God Beast was here, I think even the God Beast herself does not know."

"Don't think much, with what your mother and your aunt did to your body, you will become stronger even if you don't train. And as you grow stronger, you will know all the mysteries behind this world." Ryu stroked the God Beast gently and gave an advise to Sky for the first time in Sky's life.

Sky kept these words in his heart. 'As I grow stronger, I will find the answers.' These were the most important words in his life. All he needed was an answer to his situation.

Ryu hovered in air catching the God Beast while Sky continued his way to the core of the Forest.
