Chi Chenyan was stiff.

Sure enough, after Lu Li’s accident, this would be the most troublesome step.

The bedroom light was turned off, and the night was thick.

Although Chi Chenyan opened his eyes, he did not speak.

He felt the woman on him, then closed his eyes again, breathing evenly, pretending to be asleep, and not awakened by her movements.

Lu Li found that Chi Chenyan did not respond, as if he was asleep.

So she reached to him again, but he still did not wake up.

Chi Chenyan waited patiently for Lu Li to get down from him when she finds that he was asleep.

Soon, the woman in her arms was really at peace.

He was breathing a sigh of relief, but his chest suddenly warmed.

Lu Li has already unbuttoned Chi Chenyan's pajamas, and kissed softly under his collarbone.

In this way, Chi Chenyan couldn't possibly fall asleep.

"Lu Li." He opened his eyes, touched the lamp beside the bed, and created a little distance between the two.

Lu Li: "Husband, you are awake."

Chi Chenyan took a breath at the sweet smile on Lu Li's face.

He said: "You still have injuries on your head, I'll go to sleep at the other room."

He lifted the quilt, got up and got out of bed.

Seeing this, Lu Li immediately grabbed him from behind: "Husband!"

Chi Chenyan turned around, Lu Li's small face was already downcast.

Lu Li: "What does the injury on the head have to do with it? It's just a little injury. It doesn’t hurt anymore and it wont get in the way."

Chi Chenyan was helpless, and for the first time, he learned to coax her: "I... I think… be good."

Lu Li's face collapsed even lower.

She was not dull. She could feel that Chi Chenyan was evading her and he was not willing to be close to her.

This feeling is extremely frustrating.

So Lu Li dumbly asked, "Husband, am I ugly?"

Chi Chenyan didn't seem to expect that she would ask this. There was surprise in his eyes, and then he stared at Lu Li's delicate little face.

She has inherited her mother's beauty from head to toe. The small expression on her face when she is upset seems to make the gauze on her forehead become cute.

Chi Chenyan couldn't help answering: "No."

"You are beautiful." He was telling the truth.

Lu Li looked up at him, with a vague expression: "Then why don't you want to get close to me?"

"Don't find a reason to mislead me."

Chi Chenyan didn't know how to explain to Lu Li.

The previous closeness was based on the two of them being sober. Even if they did not have feelings, they were also consensual.

Now he is sober, but Lu Li's perception of him is chaotic. If he gets close to her now, this will give Chi Chenyan a sense of guilt as he is at risk.

Seeing that Chi Chenyan didn't speak, Lu Li got up from the bed with her mouth pursed.

She stood on the bed, a lot taller than Chi Chenyan who was standing on the ground. She stretched out her hand, first hooked Chi Chenyan's neck, and then climbed onto him bit by bit.

Chi Chenyan had no choice but to hug her.

Lu Li faced Chi Chenyan's eyes.

"Husband." She called him softly.

Chi Chenyan promised: "Yeah."

Lu Li said to him: "It's really possible."

She lowered her eyes, looked at his thin lips, did not speak, then closed her eyes and kissed him slowly.

Lu Li doesn't know how to kiss, but this does not prevent her kiss from being like a feather on people's hearts.

Chi Chenyan put her back on the bed, and he took Lu Li's hand and put it on her body.

His breathing gradually increased. Chi Chenyan propped his arm, watching Lu Li's blushing face.

His throat moved, his eyes darkened a little bit.

He told himself that if he and Lu Li have never done it, he would be in a dangerous situation. But he and Lu Li had always done it. Although it is not very frequent, they did it the day before her car accident. Therefore, this should not be regarded as a danger.

She took the initiative to send it in his arms, and he was a man, a normal man, with his wife recognized by law in his arms, and everything was taken for granted.

The guilt was temporarily put aside.
