Chi Chenyan was stunned with Lu Li’s sudden question.

Lu Li seldom expresses her emotions in front of him, and the two had never quarreled. They respect each other, so his impression of her after three years of marriage is a woman who always wait for her family’s decision. Aside from her being a young rich lady, he did not know what other hobbies she has beside buying clothes, shoes and bags, or what kind of true character she had under the rich lady facade.

So with this question, Chi Chenyan raised his eyebrows lightly.

She asked him if he is eating outside.

Is it what he think it is?

Or is it the literal meaning?

After all, Miss Lu went to an international school to receive a Western-style elite education since she was young. She speaks English better than Mandarin. Sometimes, she doesn’t even understand the meaning of some Chinese characters.

When Lu Li saw that Chi Chenyan hadn’t answer her, her heart shook. Her palms clenched into fists.

The thoughts inside her mind were haywire and finally fell into ‘divorce’.

She doesn’t care about anything else, but she cannot bear this.

Fortunately, Chi Chenyan spoke: “I ate lunch on the plane. The taste is average. As for dinner,” He gestured with his eyes, “I’ll eat with you.”

Lu Li felt that the man was playing with her. She lowered her head and said, “Do you think I mean this?”

Chi Chenyan let out a sigh of relief.

He doesn’t know why but he suddenly wanted to laugh a little.

What she asked was really a different meaning, so Lu Li worried if he was eating outside.

But he also knew that this kind of worry was not because of any feelings, she had no feelings for him, but because if the news came out, her image would suffer.

Lu Li felt that Chi Chenyan was pretending to be stupid with her, and she angrily got off the bed. She had already thought about it and immediately decided to call home, saying that the marriage could not go on, and then send evidences of Chi Chenyan’s cheating, and then finally get a divorce.

It’s just that she forgot that they signed a prenuptial agreement. The two lawyers of the family checked and strictly drafted it. Once they get divorce, there will be no property disputes.

Chi Chenyan kicked her slippers away, obviously not wanting her to get off again.

He then got on the bed.

Chi Chenyan had already gotten up early and went to work.

Aunt Li had already finished preparing her lunch, and Lu Li was sitting at the dining table, eating small ribs while looking at her phone.

There were a few unread messages on her WeChat. Qian Yong sent her a message saying that the clothes she wanted from the show yesterday has been delivered and arranged on her cloakroom. Then Qiao Jiayi also sent her a message asking her to come out in the afternoon, saying that she had an important thing to announce.

Qiao Jiayi became Lu Li’s friend after marrying in City S. the Qiao family is engaged in tourism business. Lu Li and her had originally met and had seen each other several times. Later on, she accidentally discovered that the other party looked serious outside, but she actually likes chasing idols. Suddenly, they had a common interest and hobbies. The two communicated more and then the relationship became good friends.

Lu Li said ‘Okay’ to Qiao Jiayi, scrolled down, and suddenly found that there was another message that she had neglected.

The person who sent the message was her father’s secretary, who had sent it two days ago. She was asking how the young lady and Mr. Chi had been getting along recently.

What did the secretary mean?

Lu Li did not quite understand, and seeing that the message was sent two days ago, she did not bother to reply. After eating, she went to the cloakroom to pick out the clothes that she saw on the show yesterday.
