The Villainess Wants to Get a Sympathy Event Picture (2)

“Has Sophia been acting strangely?”

Randall has his own room in the Palace.

As he did his work in the Palace, he raised an eyebrow at the report from the mansion.

The servant from the Duchy made a troubled expression, “Huh” Randall has not returned home since his marriage, but it does not mean that he abandoned surveilling Sophia. This is how he has his servants give reports to him every day.

Randall placed his quill down and stood up, putting away his documents.

“That commoner! You have finally shown your true self. Keira was right about you.”

Randall did not hear the end of his servant’s report and had the carriage prepared and hurried back to the mansion.

He walked through the mansion gates and left stunned.

“Hey, can I really get a fever from something like this?”

Sophia was splashing around in the fountain of the mansion’s garden.

She pulled up her dress and water was splashed all over, leaving her head soaking.

Orion stood at a distance to avoid getting wet, “I can’t think of anything else”.

The servants of the Voltio Duchy were witnessing the scene from afar, with puzzled expressions on their faces.

Sophia decided to take a high fever and go to bed in order to get Randall to return home to the mansion, but she has no knowledge how to get one, and so Orion and her agonized over it and decided to take a rather forceful method. Naming of the strategy, ‘Catch a Cold by Playing in the Water’. Just like that.

Even if Sophia was a princess, she grew up in the city until she was fourteen, moreover she had been quite a tomboy when she was Kaon before her reincarnation, so she had no qualms about playing in the water like she was doing now, however for the servants of the Voltio Duchy, it is a strange sight. They couldn’t stop Sophia because she is a princess, but they also couldn’t pretend not to notice her, so they gathered from all over the mansion and watched with grimace.

“…Um, madam, aren’t you going to catch a cold..?”

Among the servants, there was someone who was able to summon her courage to speak. It was Isolte, the maidservant that was assigned for Sophia. She was sixteen years old with a freckled face and charming features.

Sophia looked up and could not answer truthfully that she was doing it because she wanted to catch a cold, “I’m fine!”, she told her.

“Mistress, are you sure you want to take a bath? Just tell us and we’ll prepare one for you…”

“No, I want to play in the water.”

“Well, yes… but isn’t it cold now that summer has passed?”

“Not at all!”

It was the middle of autumn, and it was definitely chilly, but it has to be cold to catch a cold. Sophia thought if she cools herself down with water until she shivers, even in good health, she will be able to catch a cold.

It was then that Sophia jumped up and down on her toes, thinking that she was getting cold and was almost there.

“What the hell are you doing…!”

A low voice suddenly struck Sophia’s ear.

She looked up to see her husband Randall, who hadn’t come home since they got married. He walked towards her with his eyebrows raised.

“Oh, we’re ahead of schedule. Lucky.”

Orion’s mumbling could be heard, but Sophia was having none of it. It was unexpected. Sophia’s plan is to get a fever after playing in the water and plan to ask Randall to take care of her. It was not that she wanted to be seen playing. What new wife would want her husband to see her playing in the water like a child with her dress pulled up so high that her thighs show? She doesn’t think so.

Sophia quickly turned pale, but she couldn’t escape easily because she was stuck in the fountain.

While she was fumbling, Randall walked up to her and stretched out his arms and grabbed Sophia’s wrist.

“Playing in the fountain…! Are you a kid?!”

Sophia couldn’t help but shrug her shoulders at the sharp reprimand.

Orion looked unconcerned, Isolte looked as frightened as she was before, and the other servants were still looking at her from afar. No one seemed to be able to help Sophia.

“What were you thinking, playing in the water? Come on, get out of the fountain! What if you catch a cold?!”

If Sophia thought that if she told them that she wanted to catch a cold, they would probably give her a hard time.

Sophia stepped out of the fountain with Randall’s help and looked up at the tall man fearfully.

Droplets of water fell from her golden hair. Sophia’s loosely wavy hair was now wet and straight. The water ran down on her thin white chin and her light dress clung perfectly to her curves.

As Sophia looks up at Randall, her emerald eyes are as frightened as a puppy’s. Randall’s cheeks turned red as he looked back at her. She wondered what was wrong but he averted his gaze.

“A princess should not be dressed like that!”

Even though he called Sophia a ‘fake princess’, he seemed to treat her as a princess at times like this.

When she squeezed the hem of her dress, which got heavy with water, Sophia got even angrier.

“Don’t you dare put your foot in your mouth*, princess!”

“…Just think of my legs as a piece of wood.”

Randall, who only treats her like a princess when it’s convenient for him, was clearly annoyed, and when Sophia responded back, his eyes narrowed.

“You dare to shame the Voltio Duchy!”

Randall was angry. But even Sophia was angry.

‘You didn’t come home for a week, and now you’re acting like a husband?’

Sophia ignored Randall and pulled her dress up to her mid-thigh, and squeezed it tightly. She turned her back to Randall and called out to Isolte.

“Can you help me get dressed?”

“Y-yes!”

When Isolte hurriedly chased after Sophia, Randall, who was left behind, was stunned.

“…What the heck is that girl?”

Orion struggled to hold back her laughter.
