Celebration

“Ivy, over here!”

Rattler-san was waving in front of the store.

It seems that today was the celebration of the destruction of the organization.

Guild Master-san and Leader-san were going to buy me dinner, but somehow we ended up renting out the whole restaurant to celebrate.

I heard from Rattler-san that the Deputy Leader-san had played a very active role in the event.

“I’m sorry, I’m late.”

“It’s okay. You were out setting a trap, weren’t you?”

“Yes.”

“Ivy was behind the butcher shop that became so popular. As you have expected.”

“What’s that?”

“The Guild Master asked me to check the place. When I went to check why the butcher shop was popular, I found out that Ivy was involved.”

“Me?”

“That’s right. The owner of that place was the one who said that it was Ivy who made the butcher shop a favorite of the adventurers.”

“…ehh~! How did that happen?”

When did they start talking about this?

I was told by the owner about the rumor started, but I never expected it to reach Guild Master-san.

I had no idea that even Guild Master-san had heard about it.

I was too embarrassed.

“Oh!  Ivy is here.”

Borolda-san peeked out from inside the store.

His face was slightly red, so it seemed like he was already drunk.

“Borolda-san, don’t drink too much. You have to be careful.”

“Haha, don’t worry. Haha, it’s okay, I know how much to drink.”

The restaurant was quite crowded.

Or rather, it seemed that some people were already drunk and ready to go.

Borolda-san led us to the back of the store, where we found Guild Master-san and the others.

Seizerk-san and the others seemed to be with them.

“Sorry I’m late.”

“No, it’s okay. You went to the butcher’s shop, right? It’s rumored that you’re doing a lot of hunting every day.”

I smiled bitterly at Seizerk-san’s words.

It seems the rumors have really been spreading.

Indeed, I might have gone a little, too far.

I told Ciel that I would do my best for the owner who had been so kind to me, and the next day the number of fish I caught exceeded 30.

I was a little bit hesitant, but I thought it was okay and sold all of them to the butcher.

The last few days, the number of prey I caught exceeded 30 every day.

I must have overdone it.

“Haha…thank you so much.”

I have no idea what to say.

At any rate, let’s just say thank you.

“Well, now that the star of the show is here, let’s have a toast.”

The star of the show?

I tilted my head in confusion, but the people around me didn’t question it, or maybe they were already drunk with alcohol in their cups and passing it around.

“Well, who’s the star of the show?”

“Sorry, Ivy, the Guild Masters couldn’t cover it up.”

Borolda-san looked apologetic.

They couldn’t cover it up?

… is it about Sora?

“About Sora?”

“Yeah. Sorry.”

I looked at Guild Master-san and shrugged my shoulders.

From the way he looked at me, he didn’t appear upset.

“I’m sorry.”

“No need to apologize at all. Sometimes there are things that we hide, especially rare ones.”

Both Leader-san and Guild Master-san nodded at Deputy Leader-san’s words.

“Thank you.”

Thank goodness.

It looks like it won’t be a hassle.

“Ivy, when you have some free time, why don’t you come see me at the guild?”

“At the guild?”

Guild Master-san approached me with an air of curiosity.

Borolda-san’s face became wrinkled at this.

What could it be?

“There it is, Guild Master’s love of rare things.”

Rare things?

“That’s right. I’d like to meet a little one called Sora.”

“Ivy, you can say no.”
