Chapter: 7 What is he thinking about Zhou Sisi?

“Hey, Brother Xi, you came so early? “Pan De rested his elbow on the Chinese textbook.

As Lu Xi pulled his chair back, he grabbed a piece of candy from Pan De’s table, peeled off the candy wrapper, and threw it into his mouth.

“Fuck.” Lu Xi’s facial features were huddled together, “so sour.”

Pan De laughed, “It wasn’t good? Not refreshing? I specially asked my dad to bring it back from the island country.”

“Go away.” Lu Xi punched him on the arm.

“Lao Zhuang was here in the morning reading.” Pan De said, “He asked me if Lu Xi came to school.”

Lao Zhuang was the homeroom teacher of the third grade of junior high school (1) class.

Lu Xi threw a piece of chewing gum into his mouth, “Oh.”

In the end, it didn’t matter, Lao Zhuang found out he was late; even if he didn’t inform his mother, Zhou Sisi would notify her.

—Yes, Lu Xi now thought that a meddlesome student like Zhou Sisi would definitely complain to his parents.

He didn’t understand why he had asked her to not disclose anything earlier. Speaking of which, he feared that he had drunk too much soy milk in the morning.

“I lied to you.” Pan De hooked Lu Xi’s shoulder as he teased, “Lao Zhuang never came.”

“Let go, your duck smell has caught me.” Lu Xi shook him away.

“Where did I get the duck smell from?”

“Duck?” Huang Zhou heard this as soon as he came, “Who is a duck? Panda, you?”

“Your father is a duck. I’m raising a duck, okay?”

Huang Zhou’s eyes were full of disgust. “What the hell, a big boy raising a duck?”

“Damn, your mind is too nasty!” Pan De gestured with his hands as he said, “I raised a Cole duck, Cole duck understand?”

“Cole duck, I thought you…”

“Go away from me.”

Xiang Yinglan, the female classmate at the front desk, turned back: “You have a Cole duck? How old is it?”

“Yes.” Pan De, who had always been more formal with the girls, said “Born on March 19th, and now half a month old.”

Huang Zhou burst out laughing. “I remember that duck of yours hahaha…”

“Can it leave your phone now?” Lu Xi raised his eyebrows.

Xiang Yinglan’s eyes widened as she asked confusedly, “Ducks and cell phones? What’s going on?”

“Panda spent a lot of money to buy a duck egg, and he waited patiently for it to hatch, and then hahahahahaha…” Huang Zhou laughed so hard that he couldn’t say anything.

“On the day of the hatching,” Pan De sighed as he continued, “I was thinking about taking a video to record the birthing moment of my duck. I didn’t expect the duck… From then on, it couldn’t stay away from my iPhone, sticking around the iPhone all day long.”

“Why?” Xiang Yinglan felt curious.

Huang Zhou never stopped laughing. “The duck cub imprinted Panda’s phone as a mother.”

“I went to the seller, and he said that the first moving object seen by the duck when it hatches and opens its eyes would be regarded as their mother.” Pan De was helpless. “It can’t live without my iPhone.”

“To be precise, it is the back of your iPhone’s Lanling King phone case.” Lu Xi corrected.

“That’s hilarious.” Xiang Yinglan burst into laughter.

Pan De silently let them laugh.

A short-haired female student at the front desk asked Xiang Yinglan to go to the restroom.

As soon as the two girls left, Pan De immediately mocked Huang Zhou: “Ha, ha, did you forget that the day before yesterday your sound of snoring during the Chinese exam shook the entire classroom? Have you forgotten that you went to see the senior sister last week but found the wrong person?”

“Damn, if you have a stuffy nose and an incorrect sleeping posture you must be snoring too.” Huang Zhou’s mouth was hard.

Lu Xi and Pan De: “Don’t fight.”

“Bullshit!” Huang Zhou strangled his neck as he continued, “As for the senior sister, I blame the high school student union who provided me with the wrong name.”

“You guys still don’t know, right? Yesterday I found out the name of the innocent senior sister in the form bar, and this time I’m absolutely right.”

Lu Xi had a bad feeling about it. “Did you use my number for the reply?” He asked in a cold voice.

“It seems to be.” Huang Zhouying.

“What did you reply?” Lu Xi’s knuckles creaked as he moved.

Huang Zhou: “Regarding that, there were two posts inquiring about a sister, I flipped reply, felt the owner was talking about an innocent school sister, and I just contacted the class with the name of the senior sister information…”

“Give me your phone.”

“You are not —” He recalled the brother who handed over his phone to Lao Zhuang yesterday as Huang Zhou pulled his phone out of his pocket.

Lu Xi pulled the phone, unlocked it and opened the forum, and checked the account history of posting and replies.

Huang Zhou: “What are you looking for? Those posts about Senior Sister?”

Lu Xi: “It was deleted?”

“Yeah, I found out at noon today …”

“Don’t use my account to post again.” Lu Xi threw the phone back to him.

Huang Zhou caught the phone and was a little dazed. “No, what’s the matter?” As he looked at Pan De next to him.

Pan De, who withdrew from the group chat shrugged his shoulders implying: I don’t know.

Lu Xi brushed his forehead hair irritably.  If someone who knew his ID saw him “pleading” for Zhou Sisi’s information, they would think he felt something for Zhou Sisi or even told her.

Huang Zhou noticed that his brother’s face suddenly turned red:? ??

The seventh period was self-study. Zhou Sisi took the English speech draft to the homeroom teacher and asked him to revise it.

After reading it a second time, Wu Lan said, “Very good, most of the sentences are very advanced.”

Zhou Sisi’s English foundation was impressive, obviously, better than most ordinary high school students.

“I will look over it tonight to see if there is anything that can be changed for the better.” Wu Lan said, “You will come back tomorrow morning.”

“Well, thank you, teacher.” Zhou Sisi didn’t rush to leave.

“Is there anything else?”

“Teacher, can you find the latest monthly test results for the third grade here?”

Wu Lan placed down the red pen, “Junior three? Our junior high school?”

“Well, the third grade (1) class.” Zhou Sisi was a little embarrassed to trouble the class teacher as she said, “I want to see the monthly test score sheet.”

“The score sheet of the third grade (1) class… wait for me to find it.”

“This is supposed to be a whole year. I’ll see how to get it for the class.”

Zhou Sisi: “The graders are also fine.”

“Oh, come and see.” Wu Lan let out the mouse and was ready to get up.

She hurriedly said, “No, you can sit down, I can see it this way.”

“You pull a chair to sit too. With so much data, it doesn’t look good to keep standing.” Wu Lan sighed helplessly because the student was too polite.

She searched and located the name she was looking for and scanned the grades and rankings for each subject in a few seconds.

She returned the computer to the headteacher as she said, “Alright, thank you.”

“You looked for this Lu Xi? He is yours…?”

You couldn’t blame Wu Lan for this, because Lu Xi was really famous in the school and teachers knew him more or less.

Considering he was undisciplined and very attractive and knowing that a lot of teenage girls at school were concerned about him…..

“Brother.” Zhou Sisi answered.

Wu Lan breathed a sigh of relief, “Oh, brother.”

Of course, he thought it was the kind of brother who was related by blood.

As for why they had different surnames and different looks, maybe they were cousins. It was normal for the cousin to pay attention to her cousin’s academic situation.

Upon leaving the office, Zhou Sisi was called to a halt by someone before climbing the stairs.

The person calling her was a bit familiar, she had an impression that he should be a classmate of the same grade.

“I also signed up for an English speech contest.” The boy seemed anxious to speak, “Ah, I am Mo Yifan from Class 16.”

Zhou Sisi let out an “um” and waited for him to explain his intentions.

“Could you please help me read the speech draft?” Mo Yifan handed over the rolled-up manuscript paper.

It was class time, and there were no people in the hallway.

She asked softly, “Wouldn’t it be better to ask the English teacher?” She didn’t mind that he was a competitor, but she was really puzzled.

“My English teacher is Sister Lan, the same as yours.” Mo Yifan got stuck on Zhou Sisi’s soft face, “I am not very confident, so I want you to see it first.”

“Your English grades are very good. Can you give me some suggestions for amendments?”

“I’m not very free.”

“Erm…I’m sorry to bother you, Goodbye.

“I can take a look.”

Mo Yifan immediately turned around. ” Here !”

“But,”  Zhou Sisi told the truth, “I may not be of any help.”

Mo Yifan: “It’s okay, you take a look first.”

“The end of the eighth period…”

“I’ll get it outside your classroom.”

“Well, good.”

 … …

Mo Yifan’s manuscript was shorter and simpler than Zhou Sisi’s.

It took only eight minutes for her to correct the tenses error and attach suggestions for improvement to some areas. After that, she spent the rest of the self-study doing math homework assigned this morning.

Mathematics was a relatively weak subject before her rebirth.

For her, the high school content was not as solid as that of elementary or junior high school, and it was both numerous and complicated.

Even if there were traces of knowledge in her mind, some subjects required constant practice having not been studied for a few years. She cannot guarantee that she will be able to take the exam immediately and be able to pass the same level as the previous high school.

If she wanted to enter a university at the same level as her previous life, she couldn’t be too lax in studying.

As she reached the last question, the bell rang.

Most of the students flooded out within half a minute, rushed back to their dormitories, some rushed to dinner, and some rushed back to their homes.

When the doorway was less crowded, she took Mo Yifan’s manuscript out of the classroom, and he arrived just in time.

“Here, thank you for your help.” Mo Yifan took out a bottle of strawberry yogurt from behind his back.

Zhou Si Si took a step back, “No need.”

“This is a thank you gift, just a bottle of yogurt ……”

“No need. I’m going home.”

“Uh, I ……”

She went downstairs and walked, basking into the glow of sunset.

By coincidence, Lu Xi and his partner came up diagonally opposite. They were talking vigorously.

“…really, how aggressive they think they are?”

“We’ll teach them a lesson tonight.”

“Yes, Without beating, they won’t know who their Grandpa is.”

Fight? Zhou Sisi paused in her steps, “Lu Xi——”
