Wen Fan who is a bit slow when it comes to relationships was not as experienced as Xiao Wu who had been working with Lou Wei for many years. He totally couldn’t tell any difference with Lou Wei’s face which was originally more fierce than others compared to his usual days. Even when Lou Wei was talking, he only focused on his male-god’s voice. He didn’t notice the difference in his tone.

There was a laptop beside Lou Wei’s seat for contingency use. As soon as he got into the car, he switched on the laptop and started to get busy.

Wen Fan who was inside the handphone couldn’t see what Lou Wei was working on. So, he searched for something to pre-occupy him.

But he didn’t want to play games nor watch TV now. His mind was in a blank state and he was even too lazy to make use of his brain to think. After procrastinating for a long while, he found a few novels reading APP and wanted to read some books.

It was a pity that most of the novels in the APP were named after the name of the website. There was no information regarding the content of the books on their logos. If Wen Fan wanted to read a book, he must open the APP and read the page that filled the entire screen. With his body size, he would even need to walk in order to flip to the next page. It was extremely inconvenient.

After browsing for a long time, Wen Fan found two APP that uses the image of the book as logos. One of them was called “Tofu’ and the other was called ‘JinJiang Novel’.

Wen Fan never used these two APP before. But because aside from mobile games, there was a shortcut APP shelf in Lou Wei’s phone that enabled him to use other APPs without having to download them.

Thus Wen Fan couldn’t see the description of these two APPs.

Wen Fan came across ‘JinJiang Novel’ before. It was even used by Mei Tuan Kangaroo to throw at the little red bird of ‘Nation’s K Song’. But he had never heard about the other APP. It was a white tofu surrounded by bright red color and the tofu was reading a book in its hand. When he saw Wen Fan hesitating to choose between it and ‘JinJiang Novel’, a speech bubble appeared above its head.

Tofu, “Hi there. I am Fu Xiao Er. Do you need help?”

Wen Fan looked at the book that it held tightly in its arms. It was a book with white cover. But what’s different with ‘JinJiang Novel’ is that there are two ♂ symbols on each side of the book.

Wen Fan stared curiously at it for a while and couldn’t help but asked, “What’s the meaning of those symbols?”

Tofu, “It’s male~”

Wen Fan thought for a while, “But there’s two male symbols on your book.”

The tofu nodded. Because it didn’t have a neck, when it started nodding, Wen Fan was worried that its soft neck might snapped. “That’s right, it’s boylove.”

Boylove?

Wen Fan was awakened by the alarm clock earlier this morning. He hasn’t really gotten his head around it yet. When he heard tofu’s words, he nodded blankly.

Oh, it is true indeed that there are some modern or fantasy novels featuring two male leads.

He thought about the APP’s logo and thought about the type of novels that he was interested in reading. He told tofu what he would like to read, “Do you have those rejuvenation or horror genres?”

Tofu immediately flipped a few pages of the book in this hand and handed it to Wen Fan. But when Wen Fan read the summary, he felt that something was off. Shouldn’t the description be something like, ‘XXX had a miserable life. He accidentally awakened his XXX ability and since then defeated XXX and was heading toward the peak of his life, ready to marry his dream girl?’

Why are they all ambiguous conversations between a male and another man?

Wen Fan grew more confused. He vaguely sensed something wasn’t right, “…there’s no female lead?” He recalled that there were female leads in the few latest popular boy’s novels.

As soon as he finished speaking, the while tofu stood up and took the white cover book from  ‘JinJiang Novel’ beside it. However, there was a JinJiang ‘j’ logo at the side of the white book. When the ‘j’ letter saw tofu’s actions, it used all its might to latch onto the white book, preventing tofu from taking it away.

As a result, tofu gava a hard kick to it and it immediately fell on the APP shelf and twitched. A group of random characters appeared on top of its head.

Just when Wen Fan was about to help ‘j’ to get up on its feet, he saw a line of aggressive sentences appear on top of tofu’s head, “Shut up, Jin Shou!”

Wen Fan, “…Shou?” What does that mean?

And did the tofu deliberately pretend to talk in a soft tone just now?!

While Wen Fan was still in his deep thoughts, he saw that tofu had already snatched the Jinjeng white cover book and started to browse through it. It then stopped at one of the pages and passed it to Wen Fan, “Here, there’s a female lead in this book. In fact, there’s two~”

The first thing that Wen Fan noticed when he took the book was the word written on the genre column – Yuri.

Wen Fan, “.”

It really featured a pair of female leads.

He finally figured it out. When he recalled the novel that tofu showed him earlier on and flipped to the earlier pages of the white cover book in his hands, surely enough, he saw descriptions of ambiguous conversation between two males. There was a clear category label on the side – innocent love.

Wen Fan, “…” Wow.

He then flipped the white cover book and found an innocent love book with a more interesting summary. Just when he was about to start reading it, he heard Lou Wei’s voice coming from behind him, “What are you doing?”

That voice was cold and it made one’s shudder.

Xiao Wu thought that Lou Wei was talking to him. He panicked as he looked at Lou Wei through the rear mirror but found that his boss wasn’t even looking at him. He was staring on his phone and Xiao Wu secretly let out a sigh of relief as he thought Lou Wei was doing a video call.

The moment Wen Fan heard Lou Wei’s voice, he felt his spine trembling. When he recalled the content and the genre of the book that he was about to read, he threw the book behind him sheepishly.

When the letter ‘j’ from Jinjiang Novel saw what Wen Fan did to the white cover book, it got so furious that it started to twitch its body.

The penguin took large strides as it ran over while holding a WeChat speech bubble in its wings. It took a glance at the Jinjiang white cover book on the floor and reached out its wings to pick it up.

The ‘Zhi Xue Wang’ owl suddenly flew across and used its claws to pick up the book.

As a learning APP, the green owl was already curious about the white cover book. When it saw Wen Fan throw the book away, it already got itself ready to snatch the book. Unfortunately, the size of the book was much bigger than the owl. Although it snatched the book from the penguin, it couldn’t fly away with the book. The moment it flapped its wings, the penguin had already caught it.

The penguin put down the WeChat speech bubble and drew a hammer from behind its *ss and swung the hammer with all its might on top of the owl’s head. The owl frantically fled and the feathers on its body scattered across the entire screen.

The robot bird from ‘Cai Niao Guo Guo’ came down from the APP shelf above its head. It squinted and picked up the feathers in an extremely considerate manner. It then disposed them into the ‘Clean Master’s’ dust pan.

On the yellow APP shelf, the little fat yellow bird from ‘Dao Dao Bookkeeping’ immediately raised two strands of feathers as it recorded the good deed that the robot bird did on its book, ‘18th February 2020, ‘Cai Niao Guo Guo’ helped ‘Clean Master’ to clean up the scattered feathers.’

Wen Fan was speechless while staring at the input on the book.

After the little fat bird finished its entry, it tore the page and gave it to ‘Today’s Headline’ on the red APP shelf next to it.

Without any delay, ‘Today’s Headline’ pulled out a bulletin board. The red vibrant bulletin board filled Lou Wei’s phone screen. It copied and pasted everything the fat bird wrote.

It attached a picture of the robot bird beside the article.

It was very good in doing promotions.

Wen Fan was stunned as he watched them getting themselves busy. He then turned around to look at Lou Wei. He didn’t expect that Lou Wei was staring at the APPs on the desktop. He sensed Wen Fan’s gaze on him, so he shifted his gaze to Wen Fan.

The moment their gazes met, Wen Fan could vaguely hear the sound of electric currents flowing.

Could it be that this is the legendary –

Jolt?

Wen Fan’s heart was beating wildly. This is the first time he felt such electrical shock from deep within his soul.

Before he had the chance to shower his feelings, he saw the penguin holding some fireworks. The penguin stared at Wen Fan and it took a peek at Lou Wei outside the screen. The firework in its hands made some noise which sounded just like a man made electric current.

Wen Fan, ‘…’
