By the time he finished writing, the pages began to rearrange by themselves. It eventually formed a white spherical ball. The inside of the ball bulged and sank as if there was some kind of force pressing on it and it was about to crack.

Within the next second, it flipped a few times in mid-air and suddenly turned over. A long strip of black line protruded from the left side of the white ball. It penetrated half of the ball. The black line moved and opened abruptly, revealing the big black eyes inside.

‘Weibo’ immediately opened its eye wide to stare at that white ball. A ‘?’ symbol appeared on top of its head as it compared itself to the white ball which happened to also have a body of an eye.

‘Weibo’ was very confused.

It secretly wondered if the white ball was its long-lost brother.

The white ball stared at Wen Fan and then shifted its gaze to Lou Wei. It shot a gold scanning beam from its eye and scanned Lou Wei from head to toe.

Wen Fan stared blankly at its action.

The next second, the white ball retrieved its sight and looked at the space below it. The gold beam turned into a neon blue light, casting the blue rays at the space below it.

Magical things began to happen.

Wen Fan saw a small figure about his size slowly appearing in the empty space in front of his eyes. It slowly transformed into a human form.

The tiny man opened his eyes and looked around. The first thing that he saw was Wen Fan.

‘His’ eyes were pure and crystal clear. It was jet black and the tiny man smiled at Wen Fan. His cold facial feature was filled with intoxicating gentleness.

" "

This is…

Wen Fan stared at the tiny man and turned his head to look at Lou Wei.

He opened his eyes wide to compare Lou Wei’s appearance to the tiny man’s. After a long while, he finally trembled and said, “This…this is your avatar!”

Lou Wei who was outside the phone found it unbelievable. But he was much calmer than Wen Fan.  Although he was shocked, he didn’t let it show on his face. He carefully sized up the other ‘him’ that was inside the phone. Even Lou Wei, who was strict on his requirements when it comes to work, couldn’t help but agree that this tiny man looked exactly the same as him.

Although the tiny ‘Lou Wei’ in the phone looked like him, his personality was as blank as a piece of paper. He couldn’t talk. So, he never opened his mouth but use the speech bubble on top of his head to talk. “Hello, my name is Lou Wei.”

Wen Fan couldn’t help but went next to ‘Lou Wei’ and extended his hand to touch his shoulder. Even the texture of his skin..felt real. The tiny man immediately turned around his head and looked at him. He put on a smile and asked, “What’s the matter?”

Wen Fan was already speechless.

This ‘Lou Wei’ is indeed very similar to Lou Wei. His appearance was exactly the same. The only difference is his personality. After all, he is an avatar and this is unavoidable.

But what’s important is that they have successfully created an avatar from the scanned image of a real human!

Wen Fan sounded excited, “Lou Wei, the scanning program is ready!!”

He got so excited that he clenched his fist tightly. The cat ears on top of his head were shaking and not to mention,  the tail behind him was flinging from side to side.

Lou Wei didn’t look at the ‘him’ on the phone but turned his attention to Wen Fan.  “Yeah,  I saw it.”

" "

He whispered softly, “It’s all thanks to Fan Fan.”

The name “Fan Fan” is much more intimate compared to “Wen Fan”.

This is the first time Wen Fan heard Lou Wei addressing him as such. He finds that the words that came out from Lou Wei’s mouth were fitted with hooks that burnt his ears.

The youth who was still swinging his tail madly was blushing now. He swung his fluffy tail to the front and hugged it tightly in his arm. Even the tip of the tail also recoiled shyly.

Wen Fan was suddenly speechless.

Luckily the white ball beside him cast a beam of blue-ray to little ‘Lou Wei’. The avatar was like a piece of fading drawing, gradually became transparent, disappearing on the screen.

This gave Wen Fan an opportunity to change the topic.

He immediately looked at Lou Wei, “This spherical ball must be the main switch for the scanning program. Let me send the data to you and we can start working on the RPG!”

Lou Wei kept staring at Wen Fan. When Wen Fan finished speaking, he immediately said, “Yes.”

He then turned his head to the computer and logged in to QQ.

Wen Fan gave the penguin two kicks in the butt and the QQ penguin immediately pulled out the QQ chatbox from Lou Wei’s phone. Wen Fan clicked on ‘My Computer’ and shoved the ‘white ball’ in mid-air into the chat box.

Lou Wei immediately received the new message when he logged into QQ on his computer. After he opened it, it was a long list of codes.

Lou Wei entered the code into the programming software and added the RPG draft and footnotes that were developed by LouV gaming studio previously. He opened the footnotes and entered other basic program functions into it.

With that, a beta version of a simple RPG was developed.

If they really wanted to design a new game,  they would need to redesign the visual graphics and other fine details. But more importantly, the function of ‘avatar scanning’ is already developed. Other things wouldn’t be an issue at all.

Their main task now is to check if it can function stably.

When Lou Wei was about to transfer the game into the phone,  he recalled something.

He turned around to look at Wen Fan, “Let’s give it a name.”

Wen Fan stared at him blankly,  “Me?”

Lou Wei,  “Yes.”

Wen Fan thought for a while, “Why don’t we call it… pagnon? Dearest companion.”

Companion?

Lou Wei stared at Wen Fan as he nodded, “Let’s use this.”

He renamed the RPG file and transferred the data back into the phone again. In less than three seconds,  a new game APP appeared on Lou Wei’s phone screen. Because the APP is still yet to properly design,  the icon was just a simple square in yellow.
