He heard Lou Wei say, “Had you forgotten the cup?”

Perhaps he had made a wrong judgement of the length of time while he was on the phone. After all, his conversation flow with Ding Yuxiao was done rather quickly.

Lin Xiu nodded repeatedly. When Wen Fan heard what Lou Wei said, the tensed nerves and tendons in his body snapped. A great wave of disappointment swept across him.

Lou Wei didn’t notice Lin Xiu’s abnormality.

Lou Wei stood on the right side of Lin Xiu. He looked straight ahead, while Lin Xiu looked sideways.

At first, Lou Wei thought that Lin Xiu was a shy lady, so he deliberately stepped aside to keep a distance from her, trying not to make her feel nervous.

For example, employees must wear formal attire, and the ladies formal wear is mostly tight fit. Not to mention that Lin Xiu is extremely thin, even if there are wrinkles around her waist area, they would have been slanted. 

But the wrinkles on her waist area were horizontal. The wrinkles ran across the abdomen, and it was even around the side pockets as if they had been stretched by something angular.

Or perhaps she bent down just now?     

And it also looked a little like…there was something inside her pocket.

Even the hem of the front flap is slightly protruding forward. It was obvious that there was something protruding from her abdomen area which caused the shirt to rise.

Lou Wei thought for a while and whispered, “May I borrow your phone for a while?”

In order to prevent Lou Wei from seeing the phone in her pocket, Lin Xiu extended her left hand and took out her mobile phone from the left pocket, and handed it to Lou Wei while her right arms subconsciously clamped the right pocket tightly.

When Lou Wei took the mobile phone from her hand, Lin Xiu’s body went stiff and she even held her breath. She was so nervous that her skin was covered with goosebumps.

Luckily, Lou Wei was just checking the time from her mobile phone and did nothing else. He then returned her mobile phone and Lin Xiu immediately extended her left hand to take it. She secretly let out a sigh of relief and was about to put her phone back into her left pocket.

Her face went pale as she watched Lou Wei took out the mobile phone from her pocket

“This is your phone…?” Lou Wei clenched tightly on the personal phone and stared at Lin Xiu with a cold eye. There was not a single expression on his face, and it was a look that was more terrifying than any expression.

The man’s already cold facial features were terrifyingly cold. Right now, his eyes were gloomy and it was even more spine-chilling terrifying.
