Transmigrated As The Big Boss’s Mobile System

After getting rid of the main issue, the rest of the problems of the R&D Teams are much easier to deal with.

Wen Fan listened to a bunch of software names mentioned by Lou Wei in English. He only recognized RPG Maker XP v1.02 which specialized in creating the basic interface of RPG games.

He did not understand the rest of the English terms. However, the meeting participant in this conference room started to communicate in English. Wen Fan listened to their discussion in a daze. He felt that the English terminology that he learned in his computing course was in vain, as he couldn’t understand most of the discussion.

Before Wen Fan could react, he saw a pure white little mouse crawling down from the side of the mobile phone frame and it jumped beside his leg.

The little white mouse wiggled its nose and there was a huge white board on top of his head. On top of it, there was a line written in Chinese, “Please input the words that you would like to translate.”

It turned out that this white mouse was from YouDau dictionary by NetEase…  

It was a pity that Wen Fan couldn’t even figure out a single word from the meeting, let alone writing them down. He couldn’t even use the ‘translator’ that was beside him.

It seemed that the little white mouse saw Wen Fan’s difficulties and it dampened its mood. It fixed its stare at Wen Fan with its round black eyes. Its big round ears flickered and its two small paws curled up aggrieved on its chest. It looked very pitiful.

As the white mouse continued to fix its stare on him, Wen Fan couldn’t help but wanted to open his mouth to comfort him.

But before he got the chance to make a bubble speech, he saw something flying toward them from not far away. He quickly reached out his hand to take the white mouse in his arms and took a leap on the right. He managed to dodge the object falling from height. 

That thing was…the white whale from ‘XunFei Yuji’. (T/N: translation apps that record voice and translate it into words). The white whale was way bigger than the white mouse. It landed at the place where the mouse stood just now. It flicked its tail as if it was out of water.

Wen Fan quickly put the white mouse on the desktop’s floor and carried the white whale that landed on the ground. He wanted to put it back into its app icon frame. But when he lifted his head, he saw that there was a yellowish-blue colorful parrot standing at the app icon frame where the Xun Fei whale was. 

A sentence of tiny words was floating on top of the crown of the parrot, ‘Youdao translator’. 

The Youdau parrot lifted its head arrogantly and looked at the little mouse that was still lifting a whiteboard in disdain. A series of speech bubbles appeared on its head, ‘Chinese: Ah, rubbish. Translation → Oh, how interesting!” (T/N: Youdau parrot is mocking white mouse for its inaccuracy in translation)

Wen Fan: “…” You guys are from the same family, there’s no need to massacre one another.

The white mouse that stayed beside Wen Fan’s leg noticed the parrot sneering at it. It furiously threw away the white board onto the floor and jumped into the air using its two hind legs, extending its claws toward the parrot in a boxing posture.

The Youdau Translator parrot only flapped its wings in aloof and spat two speech bubbles from its beak.

The speech bubble on the left displayed the original English sentence that was spoken by the people in the meeting room. Whereas the speech bubble on the right displayed the translated Chinese characters.

As the employee in the meeting room kept speaking, the English original text on the left kept adding. But as the English sentences became longer, new Chinese translations appeared simultaneously at the speech bubble on the right.

WOW.

Wen Fan could only exclaim, ‘Simultaneous interpretation is awesome!’

But eventually, the translator parrot was also not put to good use. By the time it finished fighting with the white mouse, everyone in the meeting room had already finished their discussion on manpower allocation.

The meeting ended. 

Lou Wei announced that the meeting had ended. He took his phone and saw that Wen Fan was lifting his hands high, and wanted to put the white whale in his hands to the Apps Icon box on the topmost row.

He thought for a while and helped Wen Fan to press on the whale’s tail and immediately lifted the whale upside down and placed it on the Apps Icon box.

Wen Fan turned its head and saw Lou Wei who had already packed his laptop. He waved and sent out a speech bubble, “Thank You.”

Lou Wei curled his lips. After everyone left the conference room, he said in a soft voice, “I also wanted to thank you for the lottery.”

Wen Fan gently coughed and waved, “Small case.”

To alter or to automatically purchase an online lottery ticket was absolutely nothing difficult for Wen Fan who could now randomly control the internet data. There’s even no need for him to do anything, all he needs to do is to use his brain.

Wen Fan couldn’t help but mock at himself, it had always been his childhood dream that he wanted to be a capable superhero. But now it seemed that he had accomplished a part of it.

Wen Fan accidentally said his thoughts. As Lou Wei was taking the mobile phone that Wen Fan lived back into the office, he saw the content of the speech bubble on the top of his head.

Lou Wei, “I felt it could fly.”

Wen Fan was stunned and he lifted his head to look at Lou Wei.

In the next second, he saw Lou Wei open ‘Playstore’ and downloaded ‘Dingtalk’ App. As soon as ‘Dingtalk’ App completed the downloading process, a white wing flew from the App and attached itself at Wen Fan’s back and brought him high up into the air.  

The ‘Dingtalk’ wing was not as big as the wings of the God as seen in the movies, but it was round and cute. It could fly with Wen Fan although it looked chubby. The QQ penguin that stood beside Wen Fan was left behind. The penguin was unable to lift its head as it has no neck, it was about to roll its eyes from staring at Wen Fan. 

The penguin glared at Wen Fan and made a shocked expression. It waved its hand and pulled out a golden halo from behind its *ss and threw it on top of Wen Fan’s head.

Before Wen Fan had the chance to think about how his new appearance looked like now, Lou Wei said while nodding with his hand on his chin, “Hmmm, you looked just like a little angel.”  

He did not expect that Lou Wei would crack a joke. Wen Fan, a software engineer who was diagnosed with social phobia had never been praised. His face immediately flushed. 

Just as he wanted to think about something else to cool down the heat on his face, he suddenly made a shocking discovery. Lou Wei smiled. It was a lot more faint compared to the smile during the meeting that sent shivers down one’s bone, but this smile was a lot more pleasing to the eyes. 

Wen Fan had always thought that novels were over-exaggerating when they described a person’s smile as the first thaw of the snow. But now when he looked at the smile on Lou Wei who was always grim, he suddenly felt that the description in the novel was very realistic. 

When the cold handsome guy smiled, there was indeed some sort of warmth similar to that of a fading winter. It could even make one’s heart race and blushed.  

Wen Fan suddenly felt that Lou Wei who had a fierce facial appearance doesn’t look that scary anymore. Although the two did not speak, the atmosphere was much warmer than before. At least, it was not that awkward.

Lou Wei compiled the minutes of the meeting just now. He then started to make notes on the designing goal and overall plan of the new game.

Wen Fan who had nothing to do continued to play with ‘Dingtalk’ on his back. 

After playing for less than five minutes, he suddenly heard Lou Wei said, “Let’s go.”

Wen Fan lifted his head and met Lou Wei’s eyes staring at him. He was certain that Lou Wei was talking to him. “Where are we going?”

Lou Wei picked up the phone and turned the computer toward Wen Fan and showed him the location that he searched with the computer just now.

He said in a deep voice, “We’re going to the hospital that you are staying in now.”

Wen Fan who was still wearing ‘Dingtalk’ suddenly stopped playing with it and took off the wings. The penguin beside him immediately took the pair of wings and stuck them on its back. It ran as quick as it could, wanting to fly as well. 

It was a pity that although the QQ penguin was short, it was too fat. The ‘Dingtalk’ wings managed to make him fly for two meters before they twitched twice in mid-air and came crashing down the ground.

Wen Fan quickly reached out his hands to catch the two App. He then stared at Lou Wei. In fact, it never came across his mind to go take a look at his own body. Perhaps, in his subconscious mind, he was still a little frightened by his situation now. So he simply did not want to touch any proof showing that he is no longer a human.

There is still a glimmer of hope in his heart, longing that when he wakes up the next morning, he would return to his original body and he could get rid of the life being imprisoned inside a mobile phone.    

Wen Fan admitted that he is a coward. If he encounters something that is totally unacceptable, he would shut out the world, resign himself to adversity and turn into a blind man who didn’t want to use his brain at all. 

He did not want to think about how to turn back into a human and he did not even think about how his real body is now. He just stayed inside the phone muddle-headed, silently waiting for the day he can turn back into a human again.

But Lou Wei was the exact opposite of Wen Fan.

He looked at the tiny figure who stood on the wallpaper with a face full of hesitation. He thought for a while and suddenly understood Wen Fan’s dilemma.

Although his tone was firm, it was not harsh, “I’ll need to make sure that your body can maintain its health first. Then we’ll find a way to let you return back into your body.”

President Lou who looked fierce was searching for words of comfort. His words were concise yet thoughtful, “Don’t be afraid. I won’t let anything happen to you.”

If Zhao Meng and Assistant Ling Xiao heard Lou Wei’s words, their eyes would have popped out. They followed Lou Wei for more than five years and they had never heard Lou Wei talk to anyone in such a manner.

It took less than ten minutes for Lou Wei’s driver to get the car ready in front of the office after Lou Wei decided to bring Wen Fan to a nearby hospital at Z city to visit Wen Fan’s ‘body’.

Lou Wei took the phone that Wen Fan was in as he got in the car and sat in the backseat. He placed the mobile phone in a standing position, leaning on the back of the car seat so that Wen Fan could see the world outside through the window.

He then thoughtfully adjusted the mobile phone’s notification tone to 20% volume so that when Wen Fan watched tv, he would be able to hear the sound without attracting other’s attention. After he did all these, he leaned his back on the seat and closed his eyes to rest. He looked exhausted.

While Lou Wei was resting, Wen Fan seized the opportunity to carefully size up the owner of the mobile phone that he was living in. 

There was no doubt that Lou Wei looked like a tough man. His skin tone was medium, not too tan nor too fair. He had a deep-set facial feature, even when he was dozing off, he still looked more imposing compared to others. 

Wen Fan still recalled the way he frowned during the meeting, he was absolutely more frightening than the interviewing officer he met during his internship.

But this person did not outcast a person like him who transmigrated from a human into his mobile phone system and even took the initiative to offer him help. Even his little actions showed that he really cared for his feelings.

Wen Fan sensed that Lou Wei was far more gentle deep down than how he appeared to be.

This was indeed his biggest consolidation after transmigrating into a mobile system. If the owner of the mobile phone he was with was a sly and fat old uncle, it’s afraid that he would be utterly sick. 

Wan Fan was hugging the penguin as he thought emotionally.

Seeing that Lou Wei was already fast asleep, Wen Fan suddenly felt a little bored. He had slept for four hours at noontime and he was not a bit sleepy now. As a system, he did not feel any hunger. So he simply hugged the penguin and once again watched Bilibili tv.

After searching for half a day, he started to watch a spy movie. And because the mobile phone was set to audible mode this time, the sound played through the speaker resonated inside the screen. It was simply a 360° surround effect that was extremely good for watching movies.

Wen Wan was very satisfied.

It was a pity that as soon as the gunshot in the movie sounded, Wen Fan saw a golden male lion on the topmost App shelf at the homepage jumped out from shock. It opened its mouth wide and roared silently at the tv and it quickly jumped behind the tv and started to hit the tv wildly.

Wen Fan, “…”

The QQ penguin who was fascinated by the movie noticed that the tv was dented from all the beating. The golden lion’s head was about to ram its head onto the back of Bilibili’s head.

The Bilibili tv extended two hands on its sides to clutch on the tv’s head tightly. It rushed behind Wen Fan with tears flowing similar to that of a noodle icon.

The penguin was so upset that a bright red angry icon appeared on its head. It drew a knife from its back and wore black glasses that appeared out of nowhere. It stared at the lion with a cold gaze. 

The little male lion with sunflower hairstyle from ‘Suning.com’ was scared to its wits and laid on the floor. But it didn’t move its paw that was on the tv at all.

Then, there was another gunshot. The lion was shivering badly in fright and it tightened its claw. The small tv held in its palm was almost squashed. The eyes that looked like black bars had become wavy lines.

Wen Fan quickly touched the tv’s antenna and changed another movie. There was an animated movie next to the spy movie. Before he managed to pause it, the sound of the movie character raving was heard. And because it was at the climax of the movie, the sound was especially loud and clear, “Pi-ka-chu!”

Wen Fan, “.”

The driver was shocked by the sudden outburst of noise and he jerked on the wheel. Lou Wei’s eyebrows moved and he woke up. 

As soon as Lou Wei opened his eyes from the nap, he heard Xiao Wu who was driving smiled as he said, “President Lou, I didn’t expect that you are still a child at heart. No wonder the games that you designed were so awesome.” 

Lou Wei gradually had a question mark in his heart. He then heard the noise coming from the mobile phone beside him, “Pikachu, hundred thousand volts – biubiubiu!”
