This is the world’s first prototype game pod. If the trial run is successful, everyone in this room will be the first to witness this world record event.

The head of the designing department tried his best to slow down his breathing by taking deep breaths. He cupped his hand over his mouth and took a while to calm himself down before explaining the way how to operate the game pod and connector devices to Lou Wei.

Lou Wei listened to him attentively.

After the head of the designing department finished his explanation, he quickly checked the time on his phone, “Hey, why is he still not here for the trial run? The appointment we’ve set is at eleven o’clock.”

The deputy head of department clasped his hands as he fixed his stare on the game pod in front of him. He didn’t appear to be concerned, “Perhaps he’s still stuck in traffic. We’ll just wait for a while more.” Since they’ve already completed the design and construction, the trial run is will be very straightforward.

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone in the room heard Lou Wei’s said in a calm and firm voice, “I’ll do it.”

Everyone was shocked.

The head of the designing department almost dropped his phone on the floor. He quickly placed it back into his pocket and lifted his gaze to Lou Wei, “President Lou, you shouldn’t do this.”

The game pod connects to the neurons inside a person’s brain. If anything went wrong in the middle of the testing, Lou Wei might suffer some irreversible health impact.

Lou Wei waved his hand. His voice remained firm when he repeated his words with absolute decisiveness, “Let me do it.”

Everyone in the room looked at each other. They were all wearing disapproving looks.

Lou Wei turned his gaze to the head of the designing department, “If anything goes wrong, cut off the connection immediately. It’ll be okay.”

After he finished his words, he climbed into the game pod. He rested himself on the reclining chair while everyone was watching.

When the game pod detects the weight of the user on the chair, it began to close its panel, shutting everyone outside.

The head of the designing department was so nervous that his face was as white as a sheet. Afterall, this device connects to the neurons, and it is a body part that once damaged, there is no technology that can ever replace it. If anything goes wrong with this device, Lou Wei’s brain will be fried.

He grabbed his hair as he paced around the game pod. The rest of the employees were also worried. Only Ling Xiao appeared to be calm. He was actually curious about something.

Lou Wei has always been a person who is particular about efficiency.

Everything should go according to the plan. This is the way to achieve maximum efficiency.

In this case, it is obvious that getting the technician who had signed the agreement to do the trail run is the suitable option. Afterall, Lou Wei is the person in charge of Yuan Cheng Technology, the whole company will be affected if anything happens to him.

Lou Wei would definitely wait until the trail run of the game pod is done before trying it out himself.

But today, Lou Wei is really acting strange by being so ruthless.

Ling Xiao had no idea this is all because Lou Wei couldn’t wait any longer.

He had been patient back then when they had no idea how long it would take for the game pod to be completed.

But now, when he saw the game pod in front of his eyes, there’s no way that he would wait any longer after spending all his time waiting. He was consumed by his emotions.

When Lou Wei was inside the game pod, he took out his phone. The moment he unlocked his phone screen, Wen Fan was leaning against the phone screen looking worried.

Wen Fan said softly, “I think you should wait for the technician.”

Lou Wei replied tenderly, “Everything will be alright.”

He already checked all the wiring connections and overall functions of the devices just now. As long as the game pod works normally, there shouldn’t be any issue with it.

Wen Fan stared at Lou Wei for a long while. The man gazed at him tenderly, but there was a tint of resoluteness in his eyes. Wen Fan could only nod his head, “If anything goes wrong, I’ll turn off the device immediately.”

In order to prevent any error on the game pod, the inside of the game pod was installed with a screen with the size of a laptop. On top of the screen is a trackpad for controlling the screen. Because the trackpad is connected to the same internet connection that Wen Fan was connected to, Wen Fan is able to connect himself to the trackpad. If anything goes wrong with the game pod, he is able to turn off the game pod immediately.

Lou Wei nodded.

He curled his lips as he asked, “Are you able to enter the game?”

Upon hearing this, Wen Fan immediately understood why Lou Wei insisted on trying out the game pod. He couldn’t help but felt a pang in his heart.

It took him a while to react. He quickly nodded, “Yes.” The game pod was connected to the company’s internet connection and he was able to track the IP address of the game pod. He can definitely connect to ‘Heaven’s Dream’ server through the game pod’s connection data.

After getting Wen Fan’s confirmation, Lou Wei closed his eyes and pushed the start button.

A connector device that resembled a silver loop appeared from the back of the chair and latched onto Lou Wei’s head. Lou Wei then heard the sound waves that could put a person to sleep that Wen Fan sent to him previously. He sensed his body starting to fall from a high place.

The feeling of falling wasn’t pleasant at all. After experiencing extreme dizziness, Lou Wei suddenly felt that his feet were stepping on the ground again.

In the real life, the silver loop on top of Lou Wei’s head casted a piercing gold ray on his eyes that were tightly shut.

While in the virtual world, a beam of golden sunlight casted on Lou Wei’s body.

Lou Wei slowly opened his eyes and he looked around him after his eyes were adjusted to the strong lights.

He was surrounded by a vast green field that was lined up with peach blossom trees and he saw tall green mountains surrounded by clouds.

Lou Wei immediately recognized that this is the map of the Feiyun Kingdom that he created. He stepped forward and the grass on the field swayed as he moved. He felt as if there’s wind blowing across him and everything in front of his eyes seemed really real.

He had always viewed the map through a bird’s eye view from above. And now, he could finally enter the map and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

But…

Where is Wen Fan?

Lou Wei frowned and he felt his chest tightened.

At this instant, a clear crisp voice called out to him from behind, “Ger?”
