His kisses made Wen Fan felt as if he was standing in the middle of a steamy clouds, unable to see anything in front of his eyes. Lou Wei’s question was like a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean that pulled Wen Fan out of the thick mist.

Without a hint of hesitation, Wen Fan answered, “Of course I like you.” Wen Fan nodded vigorously, “No, it’s more than just liking you. I love you!”

Wen Fan took the initiative to hug Lou Wei, he blushed as he said, “Lou Wei, I love you.”

Yuan Chong Technology’s staff waited anxiously as they paced forth and back around the pod.

The head of the designing department was really worried about Lou Wei’s safety. His eyes were glued on the pod all the time.

Time passed by rather slowly and it was already four hours since Lou Wei entered the pod.

When Yuan Cheng Technology designed the game pod, they had put in some restrictions in order to prevent players from getting too engrossed with the game. The maximum amount of time the player could stay in the game world is set to four hours only. Once they reached the time limit, the player will be forced to exit the game world.

This is to prevent some gamers from getting too engrossed with the game or to prevent addicted players who refuse to exit the game from damaging their health.

After four hours of playing, the game pod ended its connection with Lou Wei’s brain and the door of the game pod slowly opened. Lou Wei got up slowly from the reclining seat and climbed out from the game pod.

Everyone who waited outside the game pod let out a long sigh of relief.

At the four hours mark, some of the employees were even prepared to call 911 in case Lou Wei didn’t wake up. They were ready to do an emergency rescue.

Thank goodness Lou Wei woke up.

The employees exchanged glances. They then stopped feeling anxious as a wave of excitement washed over them. They quickly gathered around Lou Wei, asking him how his experience was inside the game world.

But the moment they walked up to Lou Wei, they sensed that something was off with Lou Wei.

Zhao Mengke, the person who spent the most time with Lou Wei instantly sensed that something was off with Lou Wei the moment he saw him stepping out from the pod. He walked toward Lou Wei and circled him. He shook his head, “Wei-ge, did you…”

Lou Wei was still immersed with what happened in the game world. He was still thinking about Fan Fan’s smile, Fan Fan’s body warmth and Fan Fan’s vow on being together with him. He felt hot waves rushing across his heart, sweeping waves of comfort though his entire body. If it wasn’t for years of living with minimal facial expression, perhaps he would be smiling from ear to ear now.

When he heard Zhao Mengke talking to him, he instantly turned around to look at him. His dark pupils were flashing with lights that were never there before.

Zhao Mengke was dying to know what happened.

Others might not understand Lou Wei, but he knew Lou Wei too well. Lou Wei is the type of person who had never been in a relationship and he was the type of person who always put on a serious face when he was around others. He never showed any emotions when speaking to others. But ever since he walked out from the pod, he was wearing a delicate look on his face. This was the same as a normal person putting on a smiling face.

Something extraordinary must have happened.

And this must have been something that has nothing to do with the game pod. Lou Wei is not easily swayed by his surroundings, regardless of what advanced technology that he witnessed inside the game world. What he saw was definitely not the reason that made him react in such a manner.

Especially when he could sensed that Lou Wei was panting a little and he noticed how swift Lou Wei’s actions were. He couldn’t help but placed his hand on his chin and frowned as he wondered, “Did he just had a romantic encounter?”

The head of designing department and the rest of the staff were overwhelmed by the success of the world class technology breakthrough. When they heard Zhao Mengke’s silly comment, they quickly gave him an elbow jab.

The head of designing department even rolled his eyes.

“What nonsense are you talking about?”, said the Head of Designing Department. “President Lou had just put his life into danger to test the game pod. Are you saying that he is doing it so that he can go on a date?”

He shook his head, “Moreover, the server for ‘Heaven’s Dream’ isn’t working yet. There is simply no player or NPC in there. There’s no way for President Lou to go on a date.”

Zhao Mengke was convinced. He rubbed his nose and kept quiet.

We was agreed with the head of the designing department as he recalled how Lou-ger spent a fortune on holographic projectors for Wen Fan recently. It doesn’t make sense that he would change his feelings so quickly. Besides, it is impossible to come across any romantic encounter in a game that wasn’t even connected to any server.

He waved his hand to dismiss the silly thoughts in his head.

No one noticed that Lou Wei avoided the stares of others due to guilty conscience.

Wen Fan who returned into the mobile phone was pacing around the mobile screen. QQ Penguin who was hugging his wife turned their heads left and right as they watched Wen Fan running around. Grandpa Dumpling from Food Language leaned on the APP shelf while wiping away the tears rolling down his cheeks. Little black cat from ‘Cat Ear FM’ halted its claws and joined the penguins as they keep their stares on Wen Fan.

The little yellow bird from ‘Daodao Bookkeeping’ held the lollipop from ‘Sweet Camera’ on one wing and held a calligraphy brush from ‘Hua Shi Jie’ on the other wing and wrote,

‘14th April 2022- Congratulations to Wen Fan and Lou Wei for finally becoming a couple!’
