Meng Fan gave her a stern glance and scolded her in a low voice, “Shut Up!”

The female departmental head shrugged and kept quiet.

The others were not aware of their conversations as they were still staring at the screen in shock. Everyone gradually retrieved their gaze and turned their head to stare blankly at Ling Xiao.

Ling Xiao quickly lifted his hand and said, “It wasn’t me.”

Wen Fan rubbed his nose. He hugged the penguin and Ding Ding’s wing as he hid behind the mobile screen, exposing his eyes to stare at Lou Wei.

Lou Wei retrieved his gaze from Wen Fan and swept his glance at Zhao Mengke who was still dumbfounded. He explained to everyone, “I called a friend just now. He is a software engineer who works in password programming. Alright, since the issue is resolved, everyone should get back to their respective duty. We’ll end the meeting here.”

After Lou Wei announced that the meeting had ended, all the employees were discussing about the ‘talented person’ that President Lou had engaged as they made their way out of the meeting room. Meng Fan still remembered the deal that he made just now. Without taking any chances, as soon as Lou Wei announced that the meeting had ended, he immediately dashed out from the meeting room.

Only Lou Wei, Assistant Ling Xiao and Zhao Mengke who was making a copy of the data carefully were left in the conference room.

Zhao Mengke, who had his mouth wide open toward the screen finally reacted after everyone left. He looked at Lou Wei excitedly. “That…that friend of yours, re…resolved this…so easily? This is awesome!”

Lou Wei stared at him, worried that he would say more so he just briefly replied, “Yeah.”

Wen Fan who was inside the mobile phone almost died from laughing. The penguin beside him was already laughing madly. It hammered the floor with its fist and covered its belly with its wings as it rolled on the ground, laughing. The ‘Heimao FM’ black cat was lying on its stomach at ‘Kuwo Music’ above their head flickered its tail as it stared at the penguin in disdain.

But Zhao Mengke obviously didn’t want to end the topic. “Wei-ge, may I meet this Master? It’s really awesome that he could remote to our laptop that was locally connected and could even decode the password! When can I meet this ta…talent…talented master?”

Zhao Mengke was exhausted from speaking a full sentence. Ling Xiao rubbed the center of his brows and said, “Zhao Mengke, how come you didn’t die from the life of strenuous studies during school time? How did you even get through your language studies?”

Zhao Mengke glared at him and said, “You, shut, shut—— shut up!”
Lou Wei raised his eyebrows and glanced at his phone. Wen Fan who only exposed half of his head as he lay flat on his stomach at the mobile frame, met with Lou Wei’s gaze.

Lou Wei carefully picked up his phone and put it inside the pocket. He said to both of them, “Enough. Hurry up and work on integrating the data. Remember to do a backup.”

Zhao Mengke immediately put up a ‘noted’ hand signal and said, “Noted! I can guarantee you that mission will be completed!”

Ling Xiao stared at Zhao Mengke who was sticking out his *ss laying in front of his laptop as he pondered. He pushed his glasses up his nose bridge and turned his head to the side to look at Lou Wei next to him, “President Lou, my laptop was not connected to the internet.”

Ling Xiao was a little nervous because the company’s laptop was prohibited from connecting to the internet to avoid hackers from hacking their system.

But now, someone was able to remote his laptop.

Ling Xiao felt that this Mr Hacker didn’t just decode the passwords, he had also brought a trust crisis. He turned around to stare at Lou Wei anxiously.

Lou Wei waved his hand toward him and said, “There’s no problem with your laptop. The person that I sought help from…” Lou Wei paused for a while before continuing, “Was very talented.”

After he finished his words, he left the conference room with Wen Fan who was inside his mobile phone, leaving Ling Xiao and Zhao Mengke in the conference room.

Ling Xiao recalled President Lou’s remarks just now and the tone when he was making those remarks. He was in even deeper thought.

Zhao Mengke just finished downloading the data. He lifted his head and was surprised to find that Ling Xiao, who usually carried the image of a social elite was lost in thought. He made a ‘Tsk’ sound and said mockingly, “What? Our mighty white-collar worker Mr. Ling Xiao is lost in thought?”

Ling Xiao pursed his lips and shot a glance at him coldly. He began to pack up the projector and said, “Leave as soon as you’re done copying.”

“Hmph, what are you being so fierce about?” Zhao Mengke waved the USB in his hand and leaned on the desk in front of Ling Xiao. He bent his back as he lowered his head to speak to Ling Xiao who was sitting on the chair, “Assistant Ling, who do you think this ‘master’ is, that Wei-ge sought help from?”

“During the last meeting, Wei-ge put up a gentle look when he was staring at his mobile phone. And this time, a ‘master’ appeared in the middle of nowhere.” Zhao Mengke rubbed his chin as he pondered. “We had followed Wei-ge for so many years, is there anyone around Wei-ge that we don’t know of? It’s impossible for two people to appear all of a sudden. Do you think——” He bumped on Ling Xiao’s shoulder, “Could it be that the ‘master’ that Wei-ge reached out to was his ‘chat buddy’?”

The more Zhao Mengke thought about it, the more he was convinced that it was possible. “Maybe…it could even be his girlfriend!?”

As he spoke, his eyes began to fill with excitement from gossiping. Ling Xiao looked askance at Zhao Mengke’s engrossed expression and shook his head helplessly. “You only stop stammering when you are gossiping.”

He turned around and left while hugging his laptop.

Zhao Mengke shrieked behind Ling Xiao, “You are the one who’s stammering. Mine is known as strategically repeating!”

……….

Meanwhile, Lou Wei returned to his office with Wen Fan. He placed his mobile phone where Wen Fan was living on his desk.

Lou Wei, “You’ve helped me once again.”

Wen Fan walked out from behind the mobile screen. The green dragon horns on top of his head swayed as he moved. He stared at Lou Wei who was looking at him solemnly while he tried to figure out how to reply to him. He wanted to find a reason that could let him feel that he didn’t do it deliberately. “Just treat it as my reward to you for getting me new clothes.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Lou Wei quickly said, “You’ll have new clothes every day in the future.” Lou Wei squinted as he gazed at him, “And I promise you that they won’t be repetitive.”

“…” Wen Fan suddenly felt a chill down his spine, he sensed something wrong.

After the password issue had been resolved, the new map for ‘Heaven’s Dream’ started to receive its update immediately.

After Lou Wei finished dealing with his work in the afternoon, he saw Wen Fan who woke up from his afternoon nap. He was lying on the mobile’s desktop, bored to death, lifting his head watching video clips.

The penguin sitting beside Wen Fan kept yawning with boredom written all over his face.

Lou Wei thought for a while and asked, “Do you want to play a game?”

Lou Wei pointed at his mobile’s screen and said, “You can download whatever software you want to. There’s no need to ask for my permission.”

His mobile phone was the latest smartphone that does not require an APP downloader and the APP can be used directly. But some larger game applications still require downloading to prevent unresponsive operations.

Although Lou Wei is a game designer and had played a lot of games previously, now that game designing became his career, he had spent less time playing games.

So he forgot to download some games for Wen Fan.

Lou Wei suddenly felt apologetic and this was a feeling that he had never experienced before.

The man who was fierce on the outside but gentle on the inside frowned because he suddenly realized that for the past two days, he had experienced quite a lot of ‘abnormal emotions’.

However, he saw that Wen Fan had already hurriedly clicked open the game downloader software and downloaded ‘Honor of Kings’.

The internet speed of Yuancheng Technology company was extremely fast. It took less than three minutes to finish downloading a 2GB game.

Wen Fan patted Old Arthur’s head from ‘Honor of Kings’ and the game’s login page automatically opened. He didn’t even need to move his hands and he was able to enter the passwords within seconds using his consciousness to login into the game.

Wen Fan also found it unbelievable.

When he clicked ‘qualifier’ and began to assign his teammates, he even could predict the teammates that were assigned to him. As he stared at the teammate assignment page, he was able to automatically process the heroes that each teammate usually use and their qualifying win rate.

Wen Fan could clearly sense that one of the teammates that were about to be part of his team only had a win rate of 38%. All he needed to do was to use his brain to swap the position of this teammate with an extremely low win rate with another candidate who had a higher win rate of 80%.

When Wen Fan dumbfoundedly entered the hero selection page, he clearly saw that the player with a high win rate that he swapped into his team just now appeared in his team was now his new teammate.

 Wen Fan, “…Wow.”

He turned his head around in shock and realized that Lou Wei who was working had stopped his work and was focused on watching him play the game.

Lou Wei noticed Wen Fan’s gaze. He made a ‘carry on’ hand signal toward Wen Fan. “You play.”

""

The actions and tone of that of a veteran had left Wen Fan with a feeling as if he was caught red-handed by the discipline supervisor for playing games in the middle of a class.

He felt his blood freeze as he turned his head back to the game. He selected the Mage and went into the official battle.

In fact, when he opened ‘Honor of Kings’, Wen Fan was still pondering on how he is supposed to play the game. His body size now was two times bigger than QQ Penguin but for games like ‘Honor of Kings’, both of his hands need to be able to span across the entire screen. With the size of his palm, there is absolutely no way for him to support himself to play the game.

But as soon as Wen Fan entered the battle, he realized that his worries were invalid.

There was absolutely no need for him to use his brain. The Mage that he chose moved by itself. And because it had broken away from hand operations, every step taken by the hero and the positions of the attacks were close to perfect.

All he needed to do was to think about the skill and the skill would be released. There were no errors to the position as if a script had been installed. It was perfect as a robot.

The entire team had killed thirty-two opponents and Wen Fan killed thirty of them all by himself.

At the end of the battle, the opponent even inquired publicly in the team’s comment section if Wen Fan cheated.

Wen Fan rubbed his nose and wondered, ‘If the human brain was considered as some sort of cheating, then he considered himself cheating.’

But because he was still using his mind to control his hero who was still in a battle, so Wen Fan couldn’t type using the mobile phone. He could only use the “Honor of Kings’ voice chat function to type.

But when he clicked on the ‘voice input’ button, he was unable to make a sound.

Wen Fan suddenly remembered that he was now ‘voiceless’.

He couldn’t make any sound.

He was without a voice.

Wen Fan blinked. Even though he was already getting used to himself not being a normal human being anymore, he was still a little…distracted. He couldn’t figure out why his body that was now clearly just a bunch of data, could still feel cold. The hand that was pressing on the voice input button felt cold.

Lou Wei sat at the office desk watching Wen Fan play a game, frowned when he saw the tiny man open his mouth but couldn’t speak.

He sensed that something was wrong with Wen Fan.

Although Wen Fan’s back was facing him so that he was unable to see his expression clearly, the hero that he controlled suddenly halted and froze on the spot. It was then killed by the opponent that surrounded him.

Even though he won the game, Wen Fan was still sitting motionless at the same spot. He closed the game page in silence, hugging the penguin with his back facing Lou Wei. Dark clouds quickly appeared on top of his head. The sun came out from the cloud from the desktop’s ‘weather’ to shine its ray on the dark clouds on top of Wen Fan’s head. But it was no use at all.

Wen Fan’s dark clouds gradually turned from grey to black, followed by the rumbling sound of thunder.

The QQ Penguin drew a small umbrella from its *ss and managed to fit themselves underneath the umbrella.

Lou Wei’s heart throbbed as he watched the scene.

President Lou who hardly took the initiative to strike a conversation felt for the first time in his life that he needed to do something.

He pondered for a long time while staring at the tiny man with the back facing him. When he finally opened his mouth, his voice was filled with tenderness that even he himself wasn’t aware of. “Wen Fan, do you still have any voice record of yourself previously? I can build a soundcard for you.”
