A fruit bigger than the size of a basketball was suddenly thrown towards them from the layer of trees. Zhao Qiyang was unable to jump because he was on all fours. He could only move to the side quickly, but the object still struck him by his shoulder.

It appeared to harbor a strong resentment towards humans, opening its mouth wide open and revealing its sharp mutated teeth, to the point where its furry face had become completely distorted.

The terrifying thing about sentient creatures was that they could think and even use tactics. The mutated monkey, for example, knew that if it remained in the bushes, these humans would not be able to find it. And at that moment, there was silence once again.

It was waiting for these people to get tired and lower their guard before striking them with a fatal blow.

Sharp and long thorns made of hair appeared all over Zhao Sihui’s body, and her entire body resembled a ball of thorns. She couldn’t be of much help against such a fast-moving creature, but she could protect herself instead of distracting Jin Yang and the others to protect her.

Zhao Qiyang shut his eyes tightly and did not dare to open them. The liquid in the fruit thrown by the mutated monkey was poisonous, burning his eyes. Even now, he was shedding tears involuntarily, but his sense of smell was still working fine.

The huge green lizard was covered in green branches and leaves, and with its bumpy eyelids closed, it appeared to be in a deep sleep. After a while, his large tail swept lightly towards a tree trunk.

When Jin Yang noticed this, he lifted his hand and fired in the direction pointed by Zhao Qiyang. The bullet grazed the monkey’s fur, giving it a nasty shock.

She thought the monkey looked like a human, or it seemed to be evolving in the direction of a human, especially with its arms and strong thighs.

The black wolf pup hiding in the forest had been waiting for this moment. It leapt from behind the tree trunk like a long arrow, howled, and pounced on the back of the mutated monkey, ripping the monkey’s back open with its sharp teeth. 

The monkey was bitten by the wolf who suddenly appeared, and its body was slammed into a corner. At this time, its mouth was only slightly more than one meter away from Jin Yang, and Yin Yiliu, who was standing on the man’s shoulder, could even see the tips of its teeth and the depths of its throat, along with a faint stench. She couldn’t help but cover her nose.

Jin Yang was quick to respond. The moment the black wolf pounced on the monkey, he fired a shot at the monkey’s head. The monkey’s entire face was smashed, and the warm, sickly sweet blood splashed all over Jin Yang’s body.

He turned around to prevent any hot fluid from reaching Yin Yiliu, then bent down and tugged at the rabbit on his shoulder, motioning for her to jump to the ground.

The mutated monkey’s shrill screams reverberated as it scuffled with the wolf and Zhao Qiyang. For a while, blood splattered everywhere, and Yin Yiliu was unable to move.
