(A/N: Pronounced Win-Tree-Vale)

God, this system just loves being an asshole doesn't it? Are you mad because I haven't really used you for years? No response? Fine then. I go and put on a jacket I had made for myself years ago when there was a really bad winter in the leaf village. Okay, now how am I going to go and get to a town from here? I need to reorient myself here somehow and getting to a town would be nice.

Hm, Oh that's right! My sage mode, I remember the training and how I was able to go extremely far away in a single step and most importantly, run in the air, I really don't want to deal with this snow so getting to a down would be good to do sooner rather than later. After gathering the nature energy in the surroundings I took a step into the air, preparing myself to fall in the worst case scenario, I mean I hadn't done this in years, last time was when I had received an emergency message from Tsunade while I was training Itachi, Shisui, and girl who I hadn't known before from the show, Line Julin.

Well, they are a story for another time though, when I was showing them what sage mode could do, I got a message from Tsunade asking for me to hurry, and I picked all three of the kids up and booked it, only to find out that she was surprising me with our anniversary dinner early. I mean, I didn't forget, but Jesus, I had planned on taking her and darkness somewhere later in the evening and give them some gifts that I had bought over the past year. I have gotten a few scares like that one honestly, but it would take ages to go over each one.

So, seeing that I had actually managed to step in the air I tested things out just in case something happened, starting with walking, then running, small boosts, and then big boosts. In less than a minute I felt comfortable with actually moving around unfettered so I rose in the air so I could see above these surprisingly large trees. Once I got above the tree-line I tried orienting myself with North, South, East, and West, but it was to no avail. The sky was grey from the clouds, moss wouldn't be found on these trees I don't think, and my map is being fucking useless! Man, a compass attachment would be great right now. Suddenly though, I saw a large tower in the distance, maybe it's the tower of Babel? I can't believe I can see it from here honestly.

I go and start my mad dash to it, and in a few moments I arrive there, well there as in the tower... not the tower of Babel. This is like it's younger cousin that can only try to be cool like it's cousin. And, while I'm watching from the air, I can see that this is a large town on the coast being swarmed by monsters coming from the tower. I could swear I remember reading that Orario had the only dungeon right? I quickly walk down outside of town and set down on an actual road, it has a large amount of snow on the side of it though, at least up to my torso, and it's starting to slowly pile back on the road itself too. If it was snowing right now that would suck.

Once I got to the gates that are easily 10 foot tall and I tried knocking before I ended up calling out to the guards, and after waiting a few minutes someone finally poked his head out from the top of it, "What in the bloody fucking hell are you doing coming from that direction? We sent out word weeks ago that the monsters were going to burst from the dungeon. Gods damned it, we're losing our grip slowly, tell me, what level are you because we need all the help we can get."

Well, he's rather straight forward at least? System, what level am I in this world?

'1'

Just one? What about all my strength and what not that I gained? Shouldn't that go and grow to fit this worlds parameters.

[

Status-

Lvl-1

Strength: D600

Vitality: F300

Dexterity: D600

Agility: F300

Magic: G250

Charisma: 16

Intelligence: 25

Luck: 100

Unspent points-55

(A/N: So basically, Strength was multiplied by 10, Vit is half of strength (for this 1 calculation, so it will be different from now on, same goes for Dexterity and Agility. Magic is 10x intelligence (for right now). I still kept the other parameters since it would be pointless I feel to get rid of them or just make them hidden. Now, that means that the points he would get for leveling up or as rewards will now be, for those 5 stats, 10 for 1 (so it's the same value) however for the other three they will stay the same growth amount. This is something I came up with over a period of time, but I'm sure it's not perfect, if you have a better idea or want some help understanding it then let me know and I'll try my best to handle it.)

I smile at the guard wryly, "Uh, level 1" I could probably kick a bunch of people's asses though if I needed to, plus, I mean, I do have that absolute escape card that I haven't used yet. Plus, I do have Alucard that could probably kill all of these guys without trying hard.

The guard audibly scoffs, "How the hell did someone weak like you get into gelida infernum. God, you need to be at least level 2 to survive outside there. Tell me how you got here and make it fast! I won't hesitate to end you should I think you're hear for sabotage!" Okay, okay, geez. No patience. Okay, so what can sound truthful... a boat sinking? Well I mean, yeah I guess so, this is an island after all.

(A/N: Latin for frozen hell. I google translated a lot of different languages before I hit Latin, and it sounds cool, I wanted Russian because, well, Russia and winter, but I don't know how to pronounce it.)

"Uh, I don't even know where here is but, my boat crashed somewhere around here, I got lost and fell in the snow a few times till I found the road here." Mix in some truth with the lie, you're learning slowly Joseph, good job!

The guard looks at me and squints, "It's too cold here for a level 1 to survive though, which is why I don't believe you, especially if you went and crashed like you said." He then throws something down before continuing, "Pick that up." He points to it and I cock my head to the side, then crouch down and try lifting the sack that he had thrown down, only to discover I can't make it budge in the slightest.

The guard gasps, "I'll be damned, even the weakest of level 2's can pick that up. You must not be training your strength stat a lot and training Vitality too much if you can last out in that cold." The guard then hops down from the top, picks up the bad easily and throws it over his shoulder, "I need to get you inside quickly, you may not last much longer once night comes. You can ride out the monster wave in here since I just got word that the adventurers were actually pushing them back.

Wait wait, if that is something the weakest of level 2's can hold, then why in the heck am I here? Won't the dungeon be next to impossible? While I was busy worrying the guard seemed to have noticed my anxiety. "Don't worry, most of the monsters in the wave are the weak ones in the upper floors, and although I said you need to be level 2 to survive out there, we actually have done some things to help this city cope with the could, that way those that don't have gods blessings and the gods themselves can be fine. Shit get down!" He pushes me down to the craggy cobblestone road as suddenly a large ball of fire flies over my head, when I look up I can see that it is a monster that looks like a tiger, but it has blue fur. Wait, shouldn't it be using ice or water then?

Before I can react more he pulls me to my feet and starts running while dragging me along, "That's a level 3 Elemental tiger, it can use the first 3 magics it is hit with for the rest of it's life if it survives them that is. This one seems to be quite adept at using them, since I can't deal with him. Dodge!" Suddenly he pulls my body to the side as another monster comes charging from around the corner we were approaching, this time a monster I know, a Minotaur. "Fuck my luck. Hey, kid, go run in that direction and go get help, tell them Klye is in trouble with a Minotaur and an Elemental Tiger (A/N: Yes like kyle, but also not kyle. He is Klye since I don't know why, I thought he needed a K name) and tell them I'm behind the Drinking Leg. Run now!"

I go and pull a paper bomb out of my pocket and leap towards the Minotaur, smack it onto it's face, and since it's slow, I use it as a springboard, grab onto Klye, and run. That brief moment of stunning it (yeah, all it did was stun it. It's not level 2 for no reason apparently) gave me just enough time to go and try to get past it. I completely underestimated animal instincts though as it started flailing it's arms about, and one strike was about to hit my back when I looked at it. I turned around as fast as I could and barely put both of my arms up to try and stop the hit. It was stronger than any hit I've taken, and it sent me flying deep into the stone wall that I was going to turn to.

I tried picking up my arms, only to feel that the bones in them were fucking decimated (A/N: There's a reason I gave him regeneration. Also, it is totally unbelievable to expect him to actually be able to win against the Minotaur, even if he summoned a horde of shadow clones, like his Jutsu could hurt it, but they'd be like magic and he would still get injured if he gets hit, so just let the story play out. If you don't like it, I'm sorry, but I can't defend it more), and my body did not want to move from this specially made hole in the wall. I opened my eyes and saw Klye remove his helmet for a moment and saw that he was a young man in his early 20's, dark brown hair that was messily strewn about, and a worried look in his eyes. I used my legs that still felt fine and slowly pulled myself out of the hole in the wall in time for the Minotaur to start charging the 20 feet to get to me.

Not wanting to get him by that truck since I've already been isekai'd before, I jump towards where Klye had moved towards, and landed on one of my arms. Pushing past the pain I rolled over onto my stomach quickly and started to arch my back to stand up. After a few moments I succeeded and managed to not only stand, but regain feeling in my fingers. Using that chance I quickly used a bit of wood style to restrain it for even a moment. I then follow Klye who noticed what I had done and taken the chance to run away.

After running a few blocks away I was finally able to move my arms again, however it still hurt and would likely take a few more minutes to get it done completely. I sat against a wall catching my breath along with Klye, after staring intently for a moment he finally asked me, "You can use chantless magic?" Ugh, no matter how I answer it's going to be a pain isn't it? Wait. No it's not.

I smirk, put my finger to my lips and say, "It's a secret." I may be tried before a jury for being a tease, but it's to keep myself and everyone else safe. Hearing my response he sighed, got up and put his helmet back on before motioning for me to follow him. I used the wall as a counter balance to get up since my arms were still hurting me, and then I started walking with him, at every crossroads he'd have us stop and look around for enemies, thankfully there were none around, and within 10 minutes of this we finally made it to the back of what seemed to be a large barricade made out of various carts and on top of this makeshift area there were Archers and mage's firing to the other side. I was then pulled along towards one of the buildings attached to the edge of the barricade and saw a rather large man talking to various guards, troops, adventurers? He was talking to people. The man himself was rather large as I said before standing at about 2 meters (give or take 10 or so centimeters) tall I think and wasn't covered in muscle, he was actually quite lean but you can tell he treats his body well. He also had black hair, some stubble growing on his face, and he also wielded a rather large sword on his back with some extremely heavy, yet still refined looking armor.

I noticed at the table in the center of the room there was a woman who was reading a book silently. Looking at her she seemed to be somewhat short, about the same height as Tsunade, she has some light brown hair, and I couldn't really see her face since it was buried in the book.

After the man stopped speaking to the subordinates the girl put a bookmark into the book, set it onto the table, and then looked at the man, "I suggest we use my idea." The man looks at her and sighs.

"No, I refuse to send even a single person to go into the middle of that horde. It is all but confirmed that if we hold here, at the third line we can easily hold for several more hours and we still have another line more reinforced than this one that we can fall back on before the final line. You may be genius my Lady, but if I'm being honest, that method is too risky since if the person puts the tag onto the wrong thing then the mages will hit the wrong target, so this is the last time I will say this, No. Now if you excuse me I have others to attend to."

The man then marches over towards the two of us while the woman picks up her book and exits the room. After looking at the two of us for a moment, Klye went and spoke while Saluting, "Greetings Lord Haden, I was finishing up my duty at the gate when I heard a knock on the other side of it was this man here. He said that his ship crashed and told me he was level 1. I was bringing him here and encountered not only an elemental tiger, but also a Minotaur."

The man then walks over to me, "Will you let me see your crest? I wish to confirm something on it." Shit, I don't have a crest. Well, guess it'll at least show him that I wasn't lying... right? Also, I hope that none of my skills appear on it when I do get one. I pull off my shirt after resolving myself and when the man sees that I have nothing on my back he cocks an eyebrow and speaks to me again, "What happened to your Falna and crest? It's not here? Were you kicked out by your god?" He then gets visibly tense and reached for his sword a bit. I don't wanna get hurt again so please chill.

I back up a bit and start thinking, I left the familia? Yeah, that works, "I left my familia before I left on my trip a few months ago. I figured I'd find a new familia at the place I was going." The man immediately loses all his tensions and starts laughing.

After a good minute of laughter he rubs tears from his eyes, "Oh the ever holy shit, you are a dumbass. Getting your Falna removed before a trip is so stupid to do, plus if you met anything strong you wouldn't gain experience from it. Ho boy, I needed that from all the stress of these damned monsters." Well at least I'm not going to die right? Plus, I'd much rather be made fun of then go and tell everyone what is actually going on, just based on these monsters I know that these adventurers could whoop me 6 ways to Sunday.

He then looks out the door that the woman had left from and runs out, after a bit I can hear in the distance, "Oi, Athena. I need your help." He then walks back in guiding her to me while she is reading a book and barely walking. Wait, so this is Athena? The goddess Athena from Greek Mythology? I'd figure she'd be in Orario and doing research or something like that, also is she really that much of a bookworm? The more you know I guess.

She then closes her book and turns to look at him once she gets right in front of me, but before she can say anything he puts his hand up, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I wish to confirm his level. Would you do me a favor and bring him into your familia, at least temporarily since you are the only god present right now."

She then looks at me and then back at him, "You know how I feel about Familia Haden. Ask your father."

The man rubs the bridge of his nose, "I can't, you see dad had to go on a trip to Orario a few months ago and won't be back for another month at least. It was just our luck that most of the gods had left when we get a monster rush. Now, since you are among the few gods here, and the only god I know of within a kilometer, will you please, at least temporarily, give him your Falna?" Oof, yeah I see why he needed that laugh now, wait, did he say his dad was a god? Jesus, this man is a demigod, I wonder which one?

After considering it for a few moments Athena gives in and I end up forced to lay down shirtless on the cold concrete ground of this building. After a few moments of not knowing what was going on I finally felt a finger run across my back and then hear her gasp, after taking a few moments she applied a piece of paper that the Sir Haden guy handed to her, and passed it to him. While looking over it he nodded, "Yeah, you are definitely level 1, though based on your strength stat you should be able to level up soon enough if you can get a suitable challenge. Hm, well I'm already invading your privacy enough by requesting this, thanks for dealing with my rudeness. You can walk with Athena to a place where it'll be safe for you with much of our reserve forces." He then nods to me and turns to some people in the room and starts giving them some orders, one person who was Klye.

I put my shirt and jacket back on and Athena nods her head towards the door she has been using a lot, so I follow her strides leading out the door. Soon after we walk away she starts speaking to me while walking with her book in hand, "You have Leadership C, Genius F, Cooking B, and last but not least, an SSS Rank innate skill that I was unable to decipher fully called something force. I wonder how a level 1 gets these moves?" Uhh Athena, stop being so smart, like jesus christ. I know you are a genius, but really, this is getting to be too much already.

(A/N: I added in the Leadership skill since, well, he was leading a village for so long, he picked up some tricks and it finally got a tangible skill in Danmachi world)

I smile a bit, " I didn't know I had any skills, my god only told me that I was level 1 and showed me my stats as they increased with nothing apparent in skills" I decided to use something that Hestia did in the anime to my advantage, I mean it's not like gods don't hide things from their familia to help them out, right?

She then glares at me for a bit, "Hm. You interest me and I wish to find out how it is that you get skills that you shouldn't have." After a brief pause, "I would like for you to join my familia, I feel as if I should watch over you and that you will get many more skills that are odd, all I need is for someone to bring me my weekly books, the rest of the time is to yourself." All she needs... is books? Well she is Athena after all so I guess she wants all the knowledge she can get?

I shrug my shoulders, "Well when you put it that way I would basically be an idiot to refuse that offer. Only getting some books every week for you shouldn't be too bad." She then nods from her book and keeps walking forward.

After walking a bit longer she looks at me from her book, "Do you have confidence in your speed?

Uh oh...
