Chapter 2 – World Seeds

Supreme! Vast! Mighty! Holy!

The world was his body. The laws are his power. The concepts are his authority. 

The Heavenly Dao’s consciousness was the world’s sole supreme law! As the Heavenly Dao, Mu Yuan could oppress all his enemies in his Yuan Realm. He was an invincible existence.

In the subsequent time, Mu Yuan completely absorbed the Heavenly Dao’s inheritance and knew exactly the situation his Yuan World was in.

The Yuan World had only begun forming a couple of months ago. As stated before, it could only be considered a world seed. It wasn’t even a Minor World.

When the Yuan World was forming, it withstood the endless barrages of void essence, and at the same time, absorbed a couple of weaker world seeds. It merged with the weaker world seeds and became what it was now.

There were two ways to become a Minor World. 

The first way consisted of the world seed satisfying three conditions. It needed to have complete control over Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws, stable dimensions, and the consciousness of a Heavenly Dao. After these were all in place, the world seed could begin its advancement.

The first two conditions needed the Yuan World to slowly devour and digest other world fragments and world seeds that existed in the void, obtaining and completing Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws. Once that was completed, the world’s space and dimensions would naturally become extremely stable. Of course, this was under the assumption that the unstable Yuan World wouldn’t be obliterated by void essence before that happened.

When the Heavenly Dao’s consciousness is about to be born and the other two conditions are met, the world seed would begin evolving on its own, becoming a Minor World. The world’s evolution would be based on its origin and the power of its laws.

Also, since Mu Yuan became the Yuan World’s Heavenly Dao and was conscious by some unknown factors, the Yuan World already checked off a requirement to become a Minor World.

The second way of becoming a Minor World consisted of having the world seed only contain one law. This one law would continuously grow stronger, never mixing or absorbing other laws. 

Once the law grew to a certain extent, the Heavenly Dao’s consciousness would be born, and the world seed would advance to become a Minor World.

But, since the world only had one rule, the world was far less stable than a world created with the first method. It was much more likely to be obliterated by the void essence.

In the void, the void’s mystical force transmutes matter, energy, laws, etc.. After the constant clashing and merging of these concepts, a world seed is formed.

Matter attracts laws. Laws attach to matter. Matter contains energy. Energy converts to matter. 

Energy and laws evolve to give birth to a Heavenly Dao’s consciousness, and the matter remnants will produce a crystal sphere, which can resist the void essence, maintaining the world’s existence. If the crystal sphere is not strong enough, the world seed would be obliterated by the void essence and return to the beginning of the cycle…

The formation of a world seed required a combination of numerous components. But this was only the beginning, if the Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws weren’t under control, the world seed would embody chaos. In time, the chaotic world seed would be crushed from within!

Therefore, the world seed needed to completely absorb and control Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws. Once that was complete, the world seed would be stabilized, allowing the Heavenly Dao’s consciousness to mature completely. Finally, the world seed could truly become a Minor World. 

Thinking of this, Mu Yuan scanned his surroundings, releasing his heavenly aura. The volcanoes ceased erupting. “I originally thought that this world was complete and just needed living things to collect Origin Energy. Then, the world would grow step by step. I’d never thought that this world was just a half-finished product and wasn’t even a Minor World.”

“Even if this world seed controlled the Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws, I still don’t know how long it would take for it to become a Minor World.” Mu Yuan couldn’t help but smile at his predicament.

“If I let this world seed develop naturally, there will be too many variables in the long period of its development. The world seed may be obliterated by the void essence many times over in such a long period. Therefore, given that I became the Heavenly Dao, I’ll actively shorten this development phase. I’ll take the initiative to seek out and devour other world seeds.”

Although Mu Yuan was only a tech student on earth, he was an avid reader, and when he was absorbing the philosophy regarding the Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws, he understood that how the laws existed in harmony with each other was the basis of the philosophy. 

The Yuan World possessed the Law of Fire and the Law of Earth. It was precisely because of these two laws that the Yuan World ended up in a state that was similar to a fiery underworld. 

“Fire creates earth, and earth creates metal. So, the next world seed needs to absorb and control the Law of Metal to evolve.”

Mu Yuan’s gaze pierced through the world seed’s thick crystal sphere and reached the outside.

In the boundless void, it appeared that the Yuan World was the sole thing in existence.

However, Mu Yuan understood that the boundless void contained countless worlds and endless multiverses. It was just that the distance between these worlds was too immense.  Only Transcendents, who stood above the void, could easily travel from world to world, wading across the void. 

If one did not know the spatial coordinates of a specific world, then it was probable that one would never encounter that world in one’s entire lifespan. 

“Void, heavens, one day I will become the strongest Heavenly Dao!”

An inexhaustible fighting spirit filled Mu Yuan’s heart. “First, I need to complete the Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws of the Yuan World, evolving the world seed.”

Mu Yuan had been controlling the Yuan World in a single direction for half a month, and during this half-month, besides the void, he didn’t find any things or laws to devour.

During this period, Mu Yuan took another step in comprehending his Heavenly Dao authority and the usage of the Heavenly Dao.

He could now control his world seed’s laws and power more proficiently.

Also, Mu Yuan learned how to absorb and integrate the laws and power of other worlds, which allowed him to strengthen his world seed.

In addition, Mu Yuan had created an avatar using the Yuan World’s Origin Energy during this time. The clone exited the crystal sphere and stepped closer to the void. He wanted to get a grasp on exactly how terrifying the void was.

The avatar had just left the crystal sphere. After enduring for seven minutes, it met its demise to the void essence. It was obliterated entirely, and the world seed’s will that was inside it was also erased. 

This made Mu Yuan feel distressed. After all, he had especially used 10 drops of Origin Energy to make that avatar. Its demise made Mu Yuan, now a young man running a business with Origin Energy, feel like a portion of him had been removed.

However, this experiment also made Mu Yuan understand the seemingly calm void’s danger. It was like a ferocious beast with its mouth open, waiting for its prey to be delivered to him. Once the void came in contact with its food, the food would be immediately devoured and destroyed. 

If there wasn’t a crystal sphere protecting the Yuan World, Mu Yuan and the Yuan World would have long been obliterated, returning to the void.

“Well, according to the time rules in my memory, half a year has already gone by. It couldn’t be that there is no world seed in this direction, right?”

Mu Yuan was frustrated. Originally, he wanted to steadily advance in one direction, expectantly waiting to encounter world seeds on the way that possessed the Law of Metal and could be devoured.

But, Mu Yuan had also kinda expected such a result. After all, the void was just too big. Comparing Mu Yuan’s previous universe and the void was like comparing atoms to the universe, perhaps the void was even bigger!

This also led to Mu Yuan not encountering anything.

“Huh, is this?” Suddenly, Mu Yuan made a move and arrived at the edge of his world. 

Mu Yuan’s Heavenly Dao’s consciousness enveloped the crystal sphere. After a few moments of meditation, Mu Yuan, his face joyful, said, “Energy fluctuations! There are actually energy fluctuations.”

Normally, the energy that passed through the void would fade away and then disappear completely, but Mu Yuan had just felt slight energy fluctuations when he was in his world, indicating that either a world seed or an actual world was nearby. 

If it was another person who felt the slight energy fluctuations, they would probably believe that they were mistaken. But, Mu Yuan, a Heavenly Dao, was extraordinarily sensitive. Even the littlest ripples near his world would be perceived by him!

“These fluctuations are weak. It shows that it’s definitely a world seed and not a real world.”

Unexpectedly, just when he was about to change his traveling direction, destiny gave him hope. It actually presented him with such a beautiful gift.

Mu Yuan instantly shifted the Yuan World’s movement, utilizing the Origin Energy, which existed in the Heavenly Dao Dimension, not paying attention to Origin Energy consumption. He controlled the Yuan World to swiftly move in the direction of the energy fluctuations. The Yuan World tore through the void essence, zooming.

“Half a year went by and I finally encountered other world seeds. I wonder if there are other world seeds that possess the Law of Metal.”

Thinking in his heart, Mu Yuan finally arrived after half an hour and witnessed a spectacular scene.

Boom, boom, boom!

Thousands of world seeds of all sizes were furiously revolving around a world seed that was around ten times larger than the Yuan World, creating a grand, massive vortex! From time to time, the world seeds would enter the heart of the vortex and be crushed and mushed. The revolving world seeds would also crash into each other, allowing the smaller ones to be assimilated with the larger ones. 

The aftermath of each one of these collisions was comparable to the destructive energy of a huge star. In this process, small world fragments, which were caused by the incessant collisions, would be swallowed and eradicated by the void essence, returning to the void.

“This red world seed contains the Law of Fire!”

“The black one is a world seed that has the Law of Water!”

“There is the Law of Wood and there’s Yang!”

“The Law of Metal and the Law of Earth!”

…

Mu Yuan fervently looked at the flying and crashing world seeds, which contained all kinds of Laws. His heart sizzled in excitement, and drool flowed down his mouth, yet he had no body…

A myriad of soaring world seeds resolved around the largest world seed in the middle. From time to time, a world seed would draw too close and get sucked in by the largest world seed’s gravity, crashing into it.

Concurrently, the swirling smaller world seeds would crash and clash into each other.

Mu Yuan stared at the largest world seed. Surprised, he said “This world already possesses 4 of the Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws. It’s about to become a Minor World.”

The 4 were the following: the Law of Fire, the Law of Earth, the Law of Metal, and Yin.

It wasn’t the complete Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws, so the world wasn’t stable and couldn’t create a complete world energy cycle, but it wasn’t far off from doing so. However, now that Mu Yuan discovered it, it would never become a Minor World…

Mu Yuan took a deep breath and grinned. “Perhaps, I can become the Heavenly Dao of a Minor World here!”
