Chapter 26 – New World

Except for the various elemental races that were located in extremely perilous areas, all the other races of the Yuan World submitted to the Yu dynasty. They became a vassal race and paid tribute to the Yu dynasty. Every year they would send numerous treasures to the Yu dynasty.

After the ceremony on Tongtian Mountain, the rulers of the other races would not dare to claim the title of emperor. They were now called kings for there was only one emperor, Emperor Feng Yu.

A part of the Cang dynasty, Xuan Yuan, a human,  was the first to break into the liquid realm. However, he was still defeated by Emperor Feng Yu. He returned to his homeland, not accepting King Cang’s invitation to join. King Cang had offered for him to become the Cang Dynasty’s national teacher. He would be able to influence countless.

However, Xuan Yuan still rejected it. In a mountain east of the Origin Mountain Range, there was a blessed land, unoccupied by any race. It had been recently found. Xuan yuan took it over.

Xuan Yuan named the mountain after himself, calling it the Xuanyuan Mountain. Then, he used the mountain’s blessed land to establish the first-ever cultivation sect, the Xuanyuan sect

Once the Xuanyuan sect was established, he declared to the world that he was accepting disciples of the sect. He was going to instruct on cultivation and the sect’s doors were open to all regardless of social status. Countless living beings flocked to the sect. They admired Xuan Yuan, wanting to become under his instruction.

Numerous cultivation experts saw Xuan Yuan’s actions and decided to find their own blessed lands. They also established their own sect, passing on their techniques.

The establishment of these cultivation sects developed the Yuan world, further expanding the influence of cultivation. The Yuan World developed further.

Endless, the void encompassed all. At a speed surpassing light, a world broke through the profound void essence, continually moving in one direction. 

From time to time, world seeds that were in the way would be devoured and become a part of that world.

In the Heavenly Dao Dimension, above the Origin Lake, a world tree resided, laws entangling it. 

The roots of the tree ran through the void and explored the boundless void. A godly aura shined brightly, taoist rhymes shrouded it.

The world tree avatar was trying to find new worlds. 

Suddenly, an energy wave different from a world seed rippled. It instantly attracted the attention of the world tree avatar. 

“This is…”

The world tree avatar quickly controlled itself to trace the direction of the energy ripple. It wanted to find the source.

“ Only worlds and the transcendents could survive in the void and give off such a strong fluctuation. If my guess is correct, this must be a complete world that’s no weaker than the Yuan World!”

Next to the World Tree, already alerted, Mu Yuan’s true body appeared. He stared at one of the branches of the World Tree, his eyes full of excitement.

It had been thousands of years. Mu Yuan had finally found a world, a new world! How could he not be excited?

“A myriad of worlds…”

It had finally happened. It was a vast world, hundreds of times bigger than the Yuan World. Hanging in the void, a thick crystal sphere protected the world. 

 Receiving and analyzing the information that was sent from the world tree clone, Mu Yuan made a puzzled expression.

“Strange. With such a large amount of Origin Energy, the world should be at least on the level of an Early Multiverse. This world is truly immense.”

“But why is it aura indicating that it is only slightly stronger than the Yuan World? It’s only a Minor World. Did this world just focus on expanding without bothering to advance to a stronger world?”

“But that also can’t be possible. Once a world reaches the threshold for advancing, the world’s heavenly dao, only relying on instinct, would instinctively advance the world.”

Basing his reasoning on the information obtained from the heavenly dao inheritance, Mu Yuan didn’t think that a heavenly dao would purposely not advance its own world. Such a thing didn’t make sense. It was puzzling…

Mu Yuan suppressed the doubts in his heart.

He gazed at the new world. “Whatever. It’s a good thing that this world is only slightly stronger than me. I’ll just swallow it.”

As a heavenly dao with independent thought, Mu Yuan was naturally confident he would be able to suppress and swallow other heavenly dao’s that were at the same time.

Mu Yuan was sure that the Yuan World would advance to an Early Multiverse once this unusually large world was swallowed.

Once he confirmed the spatial coordinates of the new world, Mu Yuan controlled the Yuan World to move.

Mu Yuan’s body, which took the form of a human, didn’t dissipate immediately. Instead, Mu Yuan walked to the Origin Lake, stepping onto the Origin Energy. He stared at the branch of the world tree, which connected to the new world. He began pondering.

“The Yuan World is going towards the new world, but the travel time is quite long. The passage of time is different in the world, so maybe one year in the Yuan world is one hundred years in that world. If the new world advanced during that time, becoming an Early Multiverse, how would I be able to eat it?”

Mu Yuan’s eyes flickered. He continued to stare at the branch. He muttered, “This branch of the world tree connects to the new world. If I send a living being through this passage to destroy this world’s development, then I wouldn’t have to worry about such matters. That living being will also weaken the new world.”

“Who can I send…”

Mu Yuan readjusted his gaze to the lower realm.

“The strongest living beings in the Yuan World are only at the fourth stage of the liquid realm. They have only just begun on the road of cultivation. The living beings in the new world must’ve developed longer since the new world is quite a bit larger than mine. There would be a huge difference in power between the two. The living beings in the Yuan World can’t help me now.”

“Fine, I’ll do it myself.”

Mu Yuan split a portion of his heavenly dao’s consciousness off. The split-off portion condensed a divine soul fragment. He waved his right hand. A ball of origin energy appeared above the Origin lake.

The soul fragment and the ball of origin energy fused together, transforming into a pearl shape that radiated color. Taoist rhymes surround it. The radiating soul fragment shot like lightning towards the world tree branch that contained a passage to the new world.

Although Mu Yuan didn’t know much about the new world, as a heavenly dao, he was certain that even a part of his soul would be able to suppress and obliterate any mortal in the new world. As such, he wasn’t that afraid of entering the new world.

However, this was all under the condition that the new world’s heavenly dao didn’t discover his soul fragment. That would be troublesome. 

Outside the new world, a small world branch suddenly charged towards the new world’s crystal sphere. It passed through the crystal sphere like it didn’t exist and entered the new world’s vacuum. At the tip of the world branch, a tiny speck of black stirred. It was a void passage.

Without waiting for the new world’s heavenly dao to react, a colorful pearl shot out the void passage.

The pearl paused in the vacuum of the new world for an instant. It transformed into a blinding ray of light and shot towards the continent. It had one goal: to plunder.
