Winner Takes All

The two were tired of staying at home for another day and Li Shuo felt that he had to go home. Since the last time his mother saw the hickeys on his neck, he was afraid that his mother would think he went out to fool around. He had fooled around in his twenties for a few years. Zhao Jinxin looked at him pitifully: “You go home to have a meal. Then, come and find me again.”

Mr. Li sighed: “Just go back. You have been back here long enough this time. My mother and I feel like we can live longer.”

Li Shuo grinned. He wanted to make a phone call but he’s afraid that the call would not end. It seemed that he was such a egoistic man that he doesn’t want to be seem as too serious.

So he returned with a question: “What time will we meet at the company tomorrow?”

“At nine o’clock.”

“So early?”

“I want to see you sooner.”

Li Shuo couldn’t help pursing a smile on his lips. And he can’t help himself anymore so he dialed up the number.

“Hello, Uncle Li.” Zhao Jinxin’s voice was lazy.

“Are you at home?” Li Shuo asked with a smile.

“Yeah. I don’t want to go out. It’s boring outside. I might as well miss you at home.” Zhao Jinxin smiled lowly.

“Why is your mouth so sweet? Who did you learn from?”

“What is there to learn? I don’t need a teacher to miss you.” Zhao Jinxin said with a blush and not beating around the bush.

The two of them went ahead and talk over greasy and flirting words. Unconsciously, the phone went dead and Li Shuo fell asleep in a state full of sweetness.

Early the next morning, Li Shuo pulled out a new suit, shaved his beard, and trim his haircut again. He looked at himself in the mirror and smiled with satisfaction. He took his stuffs and went out.

As he arrived at the Ennan Group, Li Shuo ran into the Zhao family.

When Zhao Jinxin saw him, his eyes brightened. Li Shuo was very aware of it.

Zhao Rongtian joked: “Li Shuo, you look very handsome today. You simply came to our company, the KPI of the female employee is definitely going up.”

Li Shuo laughed: “I will go to your branch in Beijing to help improve their performance. The same thing will happen.”

“When I see you, I don’t want to do anything.” Zhao Jinxin said against Li Shuo’s ear. “I just want to do you.”

Li Shuo smiled and pinched his waist: “Don’t make trouble. Let’s solve the business first.”

Zhao Jinxin pouted: “Okay.”

Li Shuo cleared Zhao Jinxin’s messy shirt: “Let’s go.”

Zhao Jinxin put Li Shuo in his arms with one hand and kissed him again. Then, he let go.

The two got to the Legal Department to see that the lawyer was ready. They started the contract on the spot. Since the general direction of Li Shuo and Zhao Rongtian have been discussed, today, they are all only picking on some details. Although it was cumbersome, the progress was fast.

Zhao Jinxin wore a neat suit and has a serious looks on his face. He seemed to be quite professional at the negotiating table. There was none of his usual naughtiness and indulgence. “No, let’s finish the contract at once.” Zhao Jinxin gave Li Shuo a glance with a smile.

Li Shuo saw that the lawyer seemed to have a bad waist. After sitting for a long time, he always moved around. He said: “Is Mr. Chen tired? Let’s drink tea and relax for a few minutes.”

The lawyer was relieved. He then press the extension phone and asked the secretary to bring some refreshments. He stood up and walked to stretch out when suddenly, something came to his mind: “Hey, by the way, Mr. Zhao, is the capital invested by Mr. Shao in stock?”
