Chapter 97: After Part 7

With a pistol on the back of his head, Li Sinian raised his hands and smiled lightly: “No need to point the gun at me, I won’t run.” The policeman took out the handcuffs from his pocket, twisted his arm and went to handcuff him.

Fang Daichuan hurriedly emerged from the crowd and stepped forward to support Li Sinian: “Don’t handcuff him, he has a shoulder injury. I’ll watch him for you. I really won’t let him run!”

The policeman didn’t dare to take it lightly, he thought to himself, can you be trusted, he ran away in front of you once. Therefore, although he was not handcuffed, there were still two people, one on the left and one on right, guarding him side by side as if they were facing a formidable enemy.

Li Sinian raised his eyebrows, forcing a smile he said, “Well done, Chuan’er-ge, you play well.”

Fang Daichuan moved his eyes, he didn’t dare to look directly at him. Li Sinian only wanted to tease him, seeing his reaction, he couldn’t help but chuckle.

The group of people was escorted to the deck. In the extravagant banquet held on the luxury yacht, the police in military uniforms look more dazzling compared to the depressed celebrities. Li Sinian and Fang Daichuan stood on the side of the railing. The black cat somehow managed to come out and lay on Li Sinian’s feet, bared its teeth at the armed police.

“Beta,” Li Sinian whistled, “Come on, jump into Dad’s arms.”

The black cat that previously acted like possessed, raised its head and glanced at his master, jumped onto Li Sinian’s shoulders, then curled up on his chest, his tail hooked on Li Sinian’s wrist. Its body heat is as warm as a small stove.

“Hold your head and stay where you are! Don’t move!” A policeman checked everyone’s ID card one by one using an instrument.

Li Sinian looked at the sky above their heads, a helicopter painted black hovered above their heads and moved around aggressively.

“You! Take out your ID card!” a policeman shouted at him.

Li Sinian did not have an ID card.

He smiled slightly, he then hugged Fang Daichuan and his cat and jumped into the sea, catching everyone off guard.

The three-story deck is at least ten metres high. The armed police on both sides did not manage to respond quickly, they reached out but they only caught an empty space. They can only hopelessly watch as the two jump from the yacht.

“Lifeboat! Lifeboat!” the police officer shouted, his voice breaking with anxiety, “Someone fell into the water!”

There was no sound of something falling in the water.

Before he could finish his words, he saw the two people suddenly floating in the air. Above the deck, the helicopter above everyone’s heads increased in height and the two people hanging on the soft rope instantly rose up several metres into the air.

“Who is responsible for that helicopter?!” The police officer yelled while clutching the walkie-talkie.

A confused answer came from the walkie-talkie: “I have no idea, this helicopter is not from our squadron, isn’t it sent by the peacekeeping force?”

The person in charge of the peacekeeping side immediately replied: “It’s not from our side. It always stays behind us. I thought it was your air force infantry.”

Unexpectedly, an enemy managed to sneak in.

Several snipers instantly were in position, aiming at the two people who were rising higher and higher.

“Stop! Don’t shoot! Don’t shoot!” Someone shouted, waving his hands to stop the action team, he held up a mobile phone, “The leader is on the phone! The leader has instructions!”

He handed the phone to the person in charge of the scene.

The Deputy Bureau was thousands of miles away in Beijing, drinking tea and smilingly said: “Let them go, we have reached consensus here, don’t hurt anyone.”

“But!” The person in charge argued hard and was very unwilling. Their peacekeeping force had clashing with Ocean Security Company many times so he held a deep grudge toward this young owner, “This is a good opportunity, this Ocean mercenary group often fucks with us overseas. They will do a job for whoever pays. Compared to dealing with a bunch of lackeys, we should take this opportunity to deal a heavy blow to them!”

The Deputy Bureau took a sip of tea and said calmly, “Why bother to beat them down? There is an old saying in China, “subdues the enemy’s troops without any fighting”. You young people are too hot blooded.”

Fang Daichuan was afraid of heights, his hands and feet were clinging to Li Sinian’s body, he was scared to death.

The black cat in the middle of them was squeezed so hard it felt uncomfortable, meowing loudly, it beating Fang Daichuan’s side face with his tail in disgust. “Beta!” Li Sinian scolded, “Don’t act like a spoiled child. Get along with your brother!”

Fang Daichuan couldn’t care less about how Li Sinian is addressing him right now. He closed his eyes tightly and didn’t look at boundless blue waves under him: “Is it okay now? Is it okay? Can I go up?”

The hatch above was opened and someone started to roll up the ladder.

“Okay, time to go up,” Li Sinian said with a smile, “Chuan’er-ge, open your eyes, it’s so beautiful.”

Fang Daichuan took a deep breath, grabbed Li Sinian’s neck and opened his eyes slightly.

“Don’t be afraid,” Li Sinian hugged him tightly, put his dry lips on his temples, “I’m here, Chuan’er-ge.”

The sea beneath them was getting farther and farther away, the blue surface of the sea was foggy, the sun was setting in the distance, the sea and sky were dyed thin red, the sea was endless as far as the eye could see and on the distant horizon was a blurred port. The two floated in mid-air, in a tight embrace, as if they were the only ones left in the world, Li Sinian kissed him, whispering words of love in his ear.

“Last time, I stood on the ground and watched you being dragged away by the helicopter and my heart trembled. I thought, what if I didn’t tie it firmly, what would I do if you fell and then I thought, what if you woke up halfway? If you untie the rope and die with me, what should I do? That time I told myself, when I see you again, I must hold you. And now I held you and Beta, just like the last time we separated and this is how it begins this time.”

Li Sinian’s voice was mixed with the sound of the wind and there was some aftershave smell. The dangerous coldness of the top note of cedar and sandalwood and the strong surging of the middle note of saltpetre and blaze have all dissipated, leaving only a light fragrance in the base note, a calm and warm citrus scent, mixed with a little bitter tea aroma.

Fang Daichuan raised his head and kissed him.

The two kissed in the midst of the sea and sky, as if being watched with compassion by the heavens above.

“How did you do it?” The two get inside the helicopter, which was filled with unfamiliar faces. Li Sinian took off his shirt and let someone bandage his wound. Fang Daichuan didn’t dare to go up and get in the way. He squatted with Beta, looking up at Li Sinian.

Li Sinian was impartial, he rubbed his head on Fang Daichuan’s head: “I made a deal with the Chinese police.”

He smiled and leaned over to kiss Fang Daichuan’s mouth: “I sent my mother to the police who then sent her to a nursing home for treatment. My grandfather is old, Ocean Security is now in my hands. Being mercenary is all about money, who cares who earns it? It doesn’t matter if he is a Chinese police officer or an American police officer.”

“You… are you surrendering?” Fang Daichuan’s eyes widened.

Li Sinian laughed: “Yeah, I am now a Chinese son-in-law, you have to be more sympathetic to me.”

“Nonsense,” Fang Daichuan blushed and muttered softly, “It is a Chinese daughter-in-law.”

If you insist then it is the daughter-in-law, Li Sinian leaned on the seat, he doesn’t care to refute.

“You haven’t come to see me for so long, because you are busy with this?” Fang Daichuan took his hand. Since his left hand was injured, he lost a lot of blood and his hand is cold.

Li Sinian smiled faintly and dismissed him with a few words, “Well, everything went well. It’s just that, when I just started contacting the police I heard that there was another incident here. I wondered if it was related to my mother’s remaining forces, so I came to check it out, but who knew that you’d also be involved in it.”

Even if he didn’t say it, Fang Daichuan could guess the hidden truth behind his words and the scars on his body was the proof. He was heartbroken but then he heard Li Sinian continue: “I originally wanted to hide so that you wouldn’t see me. I’ll go back to find you when things settle here. Unfortunately, when I saw you and that officer kissing upstairs, I couldn’t hold back my anger for a moment and simply let the cat out to bite someone.”

Fang Daichuan rolled his eyes and gritted his teeth bitterly: “I should have beat you back then!!”

“Where are we going?” Fang Daichuan put his fluffy head on his shoulder.

Li Sinian stroke his hair: “Go to Iceland, I will take Chuan’er-ge to fly with me to see the aurora.”

(T/N : On chapter 82, Chuan’er told Sinian that after everything is over, he wants to go with Sinian to see Aurora because that is how Sinian’s parents meet. Ah, finally we are getting more sweet moments.)

Fang Daichuan’s eyes instantly lit up, Li Sinian smiled, held Fang Daichuan’s hand with his backhand and clasped their fingers together.

Folk music came from the plane and the pilot bobbed his head and sang along. Melodious folk tunes came from the guitar and saxophone, accompanied by waves and propellers.

Li Sinian looked at the waves outside the window for the last time. The helicopter sprinted towards the north, passing through the mist, climbing against the sun, pulling up and gradually disappearing.

The camera moves down below, showing the warm and wave less sea water, silent still and blue.

(T/N : Next chapter is the author’s word then EXTRA! Man, that scene is just like a movie, kissing while hugging on a helicopter ladder above the sea. So romantic. And yep author using the word camera for the last lines so yes, it really feels like a movie…I really want to see the drama QAQ)
