Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband

Hearing him, Jiang Yuyan hurriedly got down from the kitchen platform and stood two steps away from him with the support of the kitchen platform, looking in the other direction.

Lu Qiang smiled at her reaction and continued his work. He stirred vegetables like a professional chef, holding the pan in one hand slightly above the gas and moving the spoon in perfect co-ordination.

Seeing this, Jiang Yuyan curiously asked, "Have you, by mistake, become a businessman? You should have become a chef."

"I will, but only for you. Just tell me whenever you feel like to eat in the middle of the night," He replied while being busy with his culinary skills.

"Whenever I want?" She confirmed.

"Yes!"

The noodles were almost ready. Taking a closer look at the noodles in the pan, she said, "Wahhh…You are multi-talented, President Lu."

He was stirring noodles, but hearing her, he leaned closer to her and again pecked on her lips.

She stepped back, "What's this?" 

His actions surprised as this time, she did nothing to make him do this.

"Multi-tasking!" He replied with a smile and focused on his work again.

She was used to it now. Getting kissed by him was not new to her, so she didn't overreact. In fact, in her heart, she liked it. Somewhere, she found it romantic.

Other than her brother, Lu Qiang was the only person who cooked for her like this, and he was the only person she wanted to do this for her, but the problem was, who would admit it?

Serving the noodles in a dish, garnished beautifully, he passed it to her, "It's ready."

Accepting a dish from his hands, she asked, "Only one? Aren't you eating?"

"I am full." He firmly rejected it.

Jiang Yuyan was almost salivating after smelling its aroma and didn't bother to force him. Stepping out of the kitchen to go to the dining room, she mumbled, "I am starving." 

Lu Qiang followed her, "You wouldn't have starved like this if you had concentrated on the food instead of admiring my face when we had dinner."

"Cough-Cough!" she thought, 'Was my brother not enough with his eagle's eyes? Why did one more person add, now?' 

When they reached the dining table, Lu Qiang pulled out one chair for her to sit. Putting the dish on the dining table, Jiang Yuyan sat on the chair while Lu Qiang also sat on the chair next to her.

Jiang Yuyan picked up a fork and started eating the noodles. "Umm..so tasty!" It was too tasty for her starving stomach that she couldn't stop praising.

Not saying a word, Lu Qiang continued admiring this cute woman in front of him, who ate like a squirrel, stuffing her mouth as much as possible.

Taking another mouthful bite, Jiang Yuyan looked at him while chewing it and asked, "Do you want to taste it?"

"Hmm!" Lu Qiang nodded.

Picking noodles in her fork, Jiang Yuyan held it in front of him, asking him to eat it. Holding her hand, he moved it aside gently and moved closer to her. 

Before she could understand anything, he licked the sauce on the corner of her lips, and the next moment the fork in her hand dropped on the dining table.

Licking his lips, Lu Qiang commented, "It tastes better like this."

She could say nothing, and Lu Qiang passed her another fork from the set on the dining table as if he did nothing wrong.

Accepting the fork, Jiang Yuyan started eating the noodles quietly with her head lowered down, without making any sound. 

Every time he kissed her in the different ways that she couldn't predict when and what this man would do.

Jiang Yuyan picked up a tissue paper from the box on the dining table and wiped her lips to make sure not to leave a sauce on her lips again. 

Lu Qiang enjoyed seeing her flustered and kept quiet till she finished her food. Once she finished, she went to the kitchen to kept the dish back and had water.

When Jiang Yuyan came back from the kitchen, Lu Qiang was waiting for her in the living room.

Seeing him, she felt anxious but walked towards him, "I am feeling sleepy so... I'll take my leave. Good night."

Without giving him a chance to say anything, she stepped toward the direction of the staircase in a hurry, suddenly, he called her, "Yuyan." 

Jiang Yuyan halted in her tracks, and her unstable heart had started to beat faster. It was the first time Lu Qiang called her name even after meeting many times during these few days.

'Why my name is sounding so different and so beautiful when he said it?' 

Thinking, Jiang Yuyan turned around and looked at him questioningly to know why he called her.

Stepping towards her, Lu Qiang stood in front of her two to three steps away as he gazed in her eyes intensely, "I want to kiss you."

Her eyes left wide open as if she had heard something wrong and didn't reply to him.

'It was less embarrassing whenever he kissed me suddenly without even warning me. What's with this sudden asking for permission?'

Seeing her silent not knowing what she was thinking, he said again, "But this time, I'll do it only if you are willing to."

She stood frozen at her place; her mind was in a mess.

'Yes, I am willing. No… No, I am not… Do I? Tsk! That can't be. But I think I am.'

When her brain was busy playing the game of Yes or No, Lu Qiang called her again, "Yuyan," which brought back to her senses as she looked at him, blinking her eyes.

"If you don't want it, then turn around and go to your room."

Lu Qiang instructed, and he waited for her to leave, but it didn't happen. He waited for a few more moments, but Jiang Yuyan didn't move but stood there with her sight lowered down towards the floor. Lu Qiang got the answer.
