Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband

Lu Qiang's duplex.

Jiang Yuyan came out of a bathroom after getting freshen up as Lu Qiang waited for her while sitting on the couch. 

"Are you feeling fresh now?" Lu Qiang asked as he stood up.

Jiang Yuyan nodded, and Lu Qiang stepped towards her as he asked while observing her face carefully, "If you are not tired, then I want to show you the best place in this duplex."

Jiang Yuyan shook her head, "No! I am not tired."

Lu Qiang took her towards the staircase, that directed towards the terrace. When they reached the terrace, Jiang Yuyan saw a whole terrace surrounded with huge glass walls.

Jiang Yuyan looked around; there were beautiful decorative plants around with two comfortable and stylish convertible chairs in the center of the room, which were placed side by side close to each other.

She looked up to the ceiling, and her eyes left wide open, seeing the view above her head as even it had a roof made up of glass. While standing inside that glass room, she could see the beautiful, vast, and dark sky with millions of bright stars.

Lu Qiang left her alone to see everything to her heart content, and he moved towards the two convertible chairs in the center of the room. Converting both the chairs in half a sleeping position, Lu Qiang looked back to her only to see her smiling pleasantly.

When he was able to make her smile, every moment was like an achievement for him. Her smile, laugh, and giggle were the things he missed a lot, and he wanted to make up for every single moment they missed. 

"Sit here," Lu Qiang instructed while patting one chair, and Jiang Yuyan did so. 

Lu Qiang too sat and leaned back with his legs stretched forward on that convertible chair as he was in a half-sleeping position. Jiang Yuyan looked at him as she was sitting on a corner of her chair instead of lying down.

Lu Qiang was looking at the sky but knew she was looking at him. 

"Be comfortable," he instructed.

On hearing these words, she too leaned back in the chair and could see the sky above clearly and comfortably without hurting her neck to look up continuously. It was pleasant to see the beautiful sky above while lying down.

Lu Qiang turned his face to look at her and sensing it Jiang Yuyan too looked at him. There were no words needed to explain her happiness as the pleasant expressions on her face were enough to convey what she felt.

Lu Qiang held her hand and interlocked their fingers, and Jiang Yuyan liked it.

Staring at the sky silently, Lu Qiang moved her hand towards his face and gently kissed the backside of her palm that snapped her out of her hypnotic view ahead, she looked at him.

Seeing her looking at him, he again kissed her hand while looking in her eyes, and this time it lasted for a few more moments than before. 

Noticing her sleepy eyes, he commented, "You look sleepy. Let's go back to the room."

Jiang Yuyan shook her head lightly, "I want to stay here for a while."

Lu Qiang agreed, and she continued looking at the sky.

After a few moments, Lu Qiang realized that she was quiet, and he looked at Jiang Yuyan. She was sleeping soundly with her eyes closed and breathing steadily as if a baby slept without worrying anything.

Getting up from the chair, Lu Qiang lifted her carefully in his arms and stepped downstairs.

Entering the bedroom while carrying her, Lu Qiang carefully put Jiang Yuyan down on the bed as he didn't want to wake her up. Making her comfortable, he immediately straightened up her dress, which moved slightly up from her knees when he lay her down on the bed. 

Lu Qiang pulled out sandals from her feet, put them near the bed in one corner, and covered her in a quilt.

Holding her head up in his hands, he loosened the bun of her hair on her head's backside and moved the hair to one side of her neck and shoulders so that she can sleep comfortably.

Lu Qiang pecked on her forehead and stood up from the bed as he removed his jacket and hung it on the hanger. Pulling out the pajamas from the wardrobe, he changed into it and went back to the bed only to get a pillow from there and stepped towards the couch. 

Turning off all the lights in the room except for the night lamp, he lay on the couch parallel to the bed.

Though it was quite dark, Lu Qiang could see Jiang Yuyan's face in the night lamp's dim light. The couch was not much far, and as it was parallel to the bed, he felt like sleeping beside her. Staring at her, he, too, fell asleep in a while.

In the late midnight, Lu Qiang heard a voice, which woke him up from his sleep, but he didn't open his eyes as he was not completely awake. In his half sleepy condition, he felt that someone was crying and sobbing in a low voice. 

Just in a moment, Lu Qiang realized that it was Jiang Yuyan's voice and immediately opened his eyes in a shock and looked in the bed's direction.

Lu Qiang couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Jiang Yuyan crying in her sleep as she murmured something. Without a second delay, he went to her.

It shocked Lu Qiang when he saw Jiang Yuyan was drenched in a sweat as she looked scared, her eyes closed tightly, tears rolling down from them, she clutched the quilt in both her hands tightly, close to her chest.

Lu Qiang understood, she had a nightmare. He moved closer to her but didn't rush to wake her up as he knew it was not a good idea to wake up the person suddenly from the nightmare.
