The boys from the basketball club were also hiking on Saturday. As the organiser, Chang Xi went early and waited at the school entrance. Chu Chuan and Zhong Yu came together. Although Chu Chuan would play basketball with others occasionally, he wasn’t in the basketball club, although Zhong Yu was.

The bus stopped in front of the school and the driver ate breakfast in the shop opposite them. The car was too hot without air conditioning, so Chu Chuan faced away from the school and talked to the boys from the basketball club. A hand suddenly poked in from behind, carrying a bag of dumplings and black rice porridge. On the dumplings was even fiery red chilly sauce.

The boys stared collectively, thinking it was some girl that sent the breakfast, but as they raised their heads, they saw a tall and handsome man wearing a black cap.

Jiang Yi raised his cap, smiling, “Have you eaten breakfast?”

Seeing his face, a look of surprise flitted past Chu Chuan’s face. He raised his brow coldly, “You’re from the basketball club?”

Jiang Yi’s face didn’t change, “Nope, Chang Xi called me over.”

Chu Chuan was silent, “…I’ve eaten.”

Jiang Yi nodded and didn’t insist anymore. He swept his gaze at the faces of the basketball club members, stopping on Zhong Yu’s face. He strolled over and put a hand around the other’s shoulder, saying, “Breakfast? I remember you like having chilli sauce with dumplings.”

Chu Chuan glanced at Jiang Yi.

The other didn’t feel his eyes and giggled at Zhong Yu, waiting for a response.

Zhong Yu received the food happily, “Thanks bro, but how did you know I liked chilli sauce with dumplings?”

“Qiu Shan told me. One of you wants vinegar while the other wants chilli sauce.”

“What major are you? How come I’ve never seen you around? Do you know how to play basketball? Want to join the club?”

“Although I’m tall, I really don’t know how to play basketball,” Jiang Yi sighed dejectedly. Just as he was about to speak again, he heard Chang Xi walking towards them, shouting, “Everyone’s here, let’s go.”

Zhong Yu raised his hand and bumped him, “Let’s talk on the bus, bro. I think we’re pretty fated.”

Jiang Yi nodded absently, wanting to call Chu Chuan but noticed that he had already gone. He couldn’t find him on the bus either.

As Jiang Yi walked to the end of the bus, he was worried. Worried that the seat beside Chu Chuan would be taken. However, never would he have ever thought that he’d see Chu Jia Ri’s face next to Chu Chuan.

What is the little kid doing here…

Jiang Yu muttered under his breath and walked towards Zhong Yu waving at him from the seat behind him. As he walked past Chu Chuan, Jiang Yi glanced at Chu Jia Ri from the corner of his eyes, seeing that the other was on high alert, as if ready for a fight.

Chang Xi had seen everything that transpired. She took out her phone and sent Jiang Yi a message: “Do you have a bad relationship with Little Chu? I wouldn’t have invited him if I knew.”

Jiang Yi replied almost instantly: “…How can we have a good relationship? The one I want is his boyfriend.”

    Chang Xi: “…”

Chang Xi: “Little Chu isn’t Chu Chuan’s little brother?”

    Jiang Yi: “Of course not.”

    Chang Xi: “???”
