It took about 2 hours to drive from school to Yunshan. Jiang Yi sat by the window and was thinking about taking a nap when Zhong Yu asked him if he wanted to listen to music.

He nodded and put Zhong Yu’s earphone into his ear. As he was listening to music, Jiang Yi went quiet. How could he forget, Zhong Yu always liked rock. It swept his thought of sleeping far far away.

Zhong Yu rested his chin on his hand, “We have a basketball match next week at the sports hall, wanna watch?”

    Basketball match?

Calculating the time, Jiang Yi felt it was slightly familiar. He did, in fact, watch this match. The small forward in Zhong Yu’s team had something to do last minute and couldn’t make it while their competitors were too strong, making the substitute unsteady. In the end, Zhong Yu asked Chu Chuan for help.

Jiang Yi made a sound of acknowledgement, “I heard your small forward had some family matters and had to go?”

“You know?” Zhong Yu raised his brow in shock, “We’re getting Chu Chuan to replace him.”

Jiang Yi stared at Chu Chuan’s head, “Chuan ge, you’re playing next week?”

Chu Chuan turned back and saw the earphones hanging between him and Zhong Yu, freezing for a second.

Jiang Yu was confused, “What’s wrong?”

Chu Chuan retracted his gaze reluctantly, “Nothing.”

Chu Jia Ri cut in impatiently, “Chuan ge, let me watch the match next week too.”

    “Find Zhong Yu for seats.”

Chu Chuan said this and put on his earphones, returning to sleep.

Chu Jia Ri looked at Jiang Yi smugly.

    “……”

He ignored it and turned to Zhong Yu, “Leave a seat on the front row for me.”

    “Sure.”

“I’ll have to trouble senior to leave one for me too! Don’t put me next to him!”

    “……”

After the bus reached Yunshan, everyone got off the bus one after the other. As they were having a toilet break, Chang Xi dragged Jiang Yi off to the side, whispering, “What’s up with you guys? Chu Chuan has a boyfriend? How come I’ve never heard of it?”

    “……”

“Should you really be doing this? Shouldn’t you at least wait till they break up?”

Jiang Yi nodded, “I know my boundaries.”

This wasn’t said to deceive Chang Xi. He was really trying to test the boundaries between Chu Chuan and him.

Jiang Yi stretched, walking quietly to Chu Chuan’s side, coughing, “Chuan ge, can I watch your basketball match next week?”

Chu Chuan turned around and glanced at him, “Would you really not go if I said no?”

“Of course.” Jiang Yi twisted his lips upwards.

    “Then don’t go.”

    “……”

He ‘oh’-ed dejectedly and walked away.

Chu Chuan waited for a while, noticing that Jiang Yi oddly didn’t bother him again. Usually, Jiang Yi would’ve buzzed in his ear unrelentlessly by now, until he agreed out of annoyance.

There was no sound from the phone in his pocket either.

Is it because he forgot to turn off silence? Chu Chuan checked his phone, but there were no new messages on his Wechat. He turned slightly, watching Jiang Yi, finding that he was talking to the basketball boys.

Chu Chuan’s lips tightened, looking towards Chu Jia Ri who had just got out from the toilet instead. He frowned and passed the bag to him, “Take it.”

Chu Jia Ri staring into a daze. After putting on the bag, he looked at Chu Chuan confusedly. Is he mad because of the weather?
