“It might be…or it might not be. Of course whether or not it still stands, is up to me~”

Jin Siming turned around, looking down at the fair and slender fingers holding onto her bag. Suddenly, she felt like she could breathe easier.

Hmph, the usually eloquent and cheeky little girl has finally realized how powerful she really is. She’s even asking for her help with something difficult?

She proudly raised her chin, strutting back to her seat and turning it around to face Yao Jin as she sat down. She raised her hand and waved towards the door, letting Su Xiaohang, who was waiting for her, to go on ahead of her.

“So what’s the matter? Is Qin Ziqing troubling you again?” Jin Siming placed an arm on Yao Jin’s desk, placing a hand under her chin. Yao Jin only bit her lip but didn’t speak. She raised her eyebrows and said, “Now I’m really curious. What’s your relationship with her for you to find it difficult to deal with her? If you don’t tell me, then I’ll be leaving first.”

Seeing her get up and move to leave, Yao Jin quickly said, “Wait a second.”

She took a deep breath. She could understand that if she wanted Jin Siming to help her then she’ll need to tell her the reason why.

“If I tell you, will you promise not to tell anyone else?”

Jin Siming snorted coldly with disdain, “Do you think I’m like those fake friends of yours?”

Yao Jin froze and looked up at her.

Jin Siming also froze for a moment. The words she said just now didn’t register until after she blurted them out. She rubbed her nose in embarrassment and changed the subject, “I’m not the kind of person who gossips like that…anyway, get to the point already. The class president will lock up the doors soon.”

Yao Jin pursed her lips and hesitated for another moment before she quickly recounted the history between her and Qin Ziqing to Jin Siming.

After she finished speaking, she lowered her eyes, her long eyelashes flickering as she looked away.

She doesn’t remember how long it has been since she revealed her heart to others. When she told Jin Siming everything, she felt as if her shields were stripped down, leaving her naked for everyone to see. So she unexpectedly felt shy and uncomfortable.

Unexpectedly, Jin Siming simply replied with an “Oh” after listening to her words.

Yao Jin pouted with pink cheeks. She felt slightly annoyed, “Don’t you have any other questions?”

Jin Siming lowered the hand that was holding her chin, casually changing her position as she said, ‘Why do you force yourself to accommodate others?”

Yao Jin choked and said in a panic, “What do you mean?”

She didn’t quite understand why Jin Siming said such words suddenly. Could it be that she accidentally revealed too much just now, and let her see something she shouldn’t have?

Although Jin Siming could be considered a special existence to her right now and she also wanted to rely on her, she still didn’t want to reveal everything to Jin Siming just yet.

Jin Siming caught the flash of panic in Yao Jin’s eyes and it only confirmed her previous conclusion.

She has known Yao Jin for a long time, albeit she has always regarded Yao Jin as some sort of enemy in the past. Always wanting to surpass her one way or another and stand on top. Recently, however, she felt like she had accidentally discovered the hidden side of Yao Jin.

However this discovery did not make her happy or proud. Instead, it only made her feel frustrated.

She was already upset with Qin Ziqing’s actions before, but after hearing Yao Jin’s words she was even more annoyed with her. After all, she hated stalkers like Qin Ziqing the most.

“How do you want me to help you?” Jin Siming asked.

Yao Jin never expected for her to agree so simply, “You agree? But, I feel like I need to remind you that if she takes her anger out on you later you might….”

Jin Siming impatiently covered her ears, “Aiya, you’ve said it twice already. And even if I don’t help you tonight, it’s too late. She had her sights set on me a long time ago and it’s not just her. If I deal with her now, then no one will dare to bother me later.”

Thinking of the two problematic encounters she had with the two different groups in the bathroom, Jin Siming got a little angry, “But this is all because of you, so I won’t help you for nothing. I have some conditions.”

The corners of Yao Jin’s lips raised upwards, “I accept.”

Jin Siming blinked her long and narrow phoenix eyes in confusion, “But I haven’t said anything yet?”

Yao Jin moved closer, her charming eyes bent into crescents, “I believe that Classmate Jin won’t ask me to do anything too embarrassing, so you can tell me do anything you want~”

Jin Siming moved back, her heart tightening as she looked into that pair of captivating fox eyes, “Y-You should’t celebrate too early!”

“Hey! Are you two going home tonight or not?”

At this moment, the class president, who was about to turn off the lights and lock the doors yelled at them.

It was only then that two of them realized that the classroom was empty and that only the two of them were left in the classroom.

They quickly packed up their things and left the classroom.

As they left, the class president muttered under their breath while closing the door, “Falling in love really can make one forget the time, even not wanting to go home after school.”

The two silently made their way downstairs when Jin SIming asked, “So how do you want me to help you?”

They walked up the path leading to the school’s front gate, the street lights on both sides dimly flickering as some tiny flying insects gathered beneath the light.

Jin Siming gazed fixedly in front of her when Yao Jin’s voice sounded beside her ear, “I’m going to use a tried and true method. I’ll simply tell her that I like you.”

“What? You like me!?”

Jin Siming’s loud shout caused many students who were also walking toward the gate to stop and stare at the two of them.

Yao Jin glanced around and smiled lightly, “Jin Siming, do you want the whole school to hear our conversation?”

“Ahem….I…let’s go.”

Jin Siming coughed twice, turned her head and continued walking forward.

Fortunately, it was dark enough that no one could see her red face clearly.

Yao Jin had to run two steps to catch up to her, “Don’t worry, I’ll just tell her it’s a one-sided crush so it’ll just be enough to make it awkward for her and make her retreat if she wishes to avoid rejection. This way, I hope that I can at least give her some time to calm down. Anyway, she’s graduating soon.”

Jin Siming stopped and stared at her under the dim light of a street lamp, “You don’t always think about her comfort first. If you don’t like her, just reject her. Have you tried to properly reject her yet?”

“I…have.”

Jin Siming raised an eyebrow, “Did you cry while rejecting her?”

“….”

Yao Jin looked up at her blankly.

Jin Siming unexpectedly felt a sharp anger course through her when she saw Yao Jin’s face. She reached out and grabbed Yao Jin’s arm before marching them towards the school gate.

Yao Jin staggered two steps before remembering something as she turned her head and asked, “Aren’t you afraid?”

“What is there to be afraid of?”

“I still remember that when we were chased by those delinquents from the vocational school that you squatted in that alley and then…”

Jin Siming suddenly stopped, her imposing aura suddenly extinguished by Yao Jin’s words.

It was true that she was really afraid back then, but that was only because she had just differentiated then and didn’t understand the physical advantages her rank afforded her. Furthermore, she was more afraid and flustered about being “contaminated” by what she subconsciously thought was “bad”. Those groups of delinquents checked off many boxes on her list of taboo things she must not be involved with as a good student. She had firmly believed that interacting with them was outside the circle of safety she had created for herself and that was why her reaction was so extreme then.

However, she didn’t bother explaining all this to Yao Jin as they had already walked out of the front gate.

Yao Jin arrived at the palace where her driver would usually pick her and, sure enough, she saw Qin Ziqing leaning against a car and waiting for her there.

After seeing Yao Jin coming out, Qin Ziqing stood up with a happy expression, but her expression darkened instantly when she saw Jin Siming following behind her.

“What do you want? Does this classmate also need a ride home from me?”

Qin Ziqing stepped forward to meet Yao Jin with the corners of her mouth curled up, but her eyes were fixed coldly on Jin Siming’s face.

Yao Jin pulled herself into Jin Siming’s arm, leaning her chin on the other party’s shoulders as she snuggled deeper into Jin Siming’s embrace, “I really do have someone I like, so Qin-jiejie, you should know that enough is enough.”

Jin Siming’s whole body froze up when Yao Jin suddenly threw herself into her arms, but she eventually reacted as she slowly stretched out her arms to circle around Yao Jin’s waist.

She didn’t expect Yao Jin to use such a dog-blooded and old-fashioned tactic to get Qin Ziqing to directly give up. But girl, you really should say something in advance before you throw yourself into my arms, okay?

Qin Ziqing’s face turned even darker when she saw Yao Jin hugging someone else intimately.

The person she had been pining after for so long, the person who was at the top of her heart, was now being fiercely hugged by some stranger who had appeared out of nowhere. She was so furious as she gritted her teeth and glared at Jin Siming fiercely, as if she was trying to pierce her heart with ten thousand arrows with her eyes alone.

She forced herself to calm down as she forced a smile towards Yao Jin, “Stop making trouble. I know I’ve been pushing you a little too much lately and I’ll pay more attention in the future, but there is no need for you to drag someone else into our affairs just to anger me. Come, it’s getting late. Let me take you home.”

After she finished speaking, she stretched out a hand to grab Yao Jin, but Jin Siming took a step forward with her long legs and shielded Yao Jin behind her.

She felt like throwing up just now when she heard those cliche words those stalker-like CEOs would say in dramas. Before she differentiated, she had encountered suitors like Qin Ziqing who liked to think of themselves as such righteous people. They would send you love letters and give you flowers in front of large audiences and then make it seem like it was an honor just for you to receive their attention.

And in the past, she would always directly and mercilessly refuse people like this on the spot. Although she hasn’t exactly dealt with someone like Qin Ziqing, a self-righteous person who spewed cliche CEO lines everytime she opened her mouth and believed themselves infallible, she still had enough experience to know how to deal with them.

Seeing Jin Siming pull Yao Jin behind her, Qin Ziqing’s already clenched fists moved to grab Jin Siming’s collar when she suddenly heard Jin Siming say–

“Qin-jie, do you still not understand?”

Qin Ziqing narrowed her eyes dangerously, and growled, “I advise you to beat it before I really get angry!”

Jin Siming raised her lips into a sneer. I heard from Jin-Jin that you’ve known each other since you were very young. So you two can be considered childhood sweethearts, right? But if I count it right, it’s been almost ten years, yet Jin-Jin still doesn’t like you back. Don’t you think that’s quite pitiful?”

“What did you just say?” Qin Ziqing was trembling with fury, her clenched fists ready to “fall” onto Jin Siming’s face any second now.

“Yet I’ve only known Jin-Jin for less than a year and she has already fallen in love with me. Don’t you get it already? If she doesn’t like you, then she doesn’t like you. Even if you wait until the end of time, she won’t like you even if she changes partners. Why do you have to make things difficult for yourself like this?”

Thud!

Qin Ziqing punched at her, but Jin Siming was quick-handed and sharp-sighted enough to grab her wrist and prevent her pretty face from getting hit.

However, the sharp wind that accompanied the impact of the fist still hit the side of her face.

It hurts….

Jin Siming’s eyes turned red.

So annoying!

A fire was ignited in Jin Siming’s eyes and the hand wrapped around Qin Ziqing’s wrist subconsciously exerted force that was proportional to her anger so in the next second a CRACK sound could be heard.

“Ah!”

A scream resounded throughout the entrance.

Not too far away, a Qin Zhuxuan, who was about to get into her car, paused for a moment and turned to the side to follow the source of that scream. She saw a familiar figure standing in the distance. Her waist-length wavy hair was gently lifted by the pleasant breeze and her eyebrows drew tightly together.

“What’s wrong? That scream….why does it sound a bit like your silly cousin’s voice?”

A young girl also sat in the back of the car. She was wearing a short red skirt that barely went past her thighs and a red-hot off-the-shoulder vest that revealed her fair and tender shoulder and the sexy mermaid line of her abs.

At this moment, the girl was holding a lipstick in one hand and a small mirror in the other as she gently applied the lipstick to her lips.

When Qin Chuxuan heard the girl’s words, she looked back and rolled her eyes at the other girl’s actions, “You’re an Alpha, so can you stop painting your lips so colorfully in the middle of the night?
