The lounge area was full of people waiting for interviews, mostly women that were lively, flirtatious, innocent, and all other various types.

Wen Zhi was doubtful when she first saw that only the receptionist needed to be female. The others were all technicians or programmers who were mostly men, how come there were so many women here today?

These women were either dressed up fancily or in plain dresses with hidden agendas. None of them look like they were here to interview for programmer or technician positions.

At the moment, she just overheard several of them chatting something about shareholders and so on.

As she was lost in thoughts, Chen Ling came from afar and told her excitedly as soon as she sat down: “I just overhead in the toilet that one of the shareholders of RESET Technologies is actually our school senior.” She stretched her neck and her gaze swept across the office area: “I don’t know if he’s working today at RESET or not, it would be great if I could meet him in person.”

“If you managed to get the job, you’ll see him sooner or later, so what’s the rush.” Wen Zhi asked absentmindedly: “Which senior by the way?”

“I thought you’ve done your homework on RESET, how come you don’t know about it?” Chen Ling replied in surprise.

Wen Zhi grunted: “I’m studying the company’s positioning and development direction, why would I research on the shareholders?”

Chen Ling nodded silently, in fact, even after researching the shareholders, it was still useless as their senior’s name was not in the published information at all. It was only then when she was in the toilet and overheard those few people who came for the interview discussing this piece of news that only insiders knew about it.

There was a sudden commotion in the lounge area with everyone looking in the same direction.

Chen ling took a glance and was so excited that she tugged at the corner of Wen Zhi’s coat: “Wen Zi, look over there, quickly look over there!”

Wen Zhi’s cap was pressed so low that she wanted to even hide her eyes. Yet, when she heard Chen Ling’s exclamation, she couldn’t help but followed her gaze and saw two tall figures entering the building.

The man in the front walked with steady steps and an unhurried pace. His skin was fair like jade covered in frost, his eyes were cold and elegant while looking straight ahead without being distracted.

The man beside him was slightly slowed in his pace and kept glancing over in the direction of the lounge area. When his gaze swept up to their position, he paused in his stride with his face full of amazement as his cheeks flushed instantly at the next moment.

“The real deal, we get to meet him in person today. I didn’t expect today to have such good luck!” Chen Ling excitedly shook Wen Zhi so hard that her cap was flunk onto the floor.

“Mo, Mo Ci?” Wen Zhi couldn’t care less about the cap that had fallen to the ground and stammered: “He’s one of the RESET’s shareholders?”

“Mm-hmm.” Chen Ling nodded vigorously.

Mo Ci was the legend of the K University and they managed to see him in person here!

Wen Zhi was very excited too as she had admired Mo Ci for a long time yet this was the first time she had ever seen him in person at such a close range. She inhaled deeply, not even daring to breathe as she was afraid that if she moved even just a little bit, she might disturb the person in front of her.

The lounge area was also full of secretly excited people and all of them were thinking the same as Wen Zhi. None of them dare to speak up or make any noise.

For this man who stood high above the rest, at the peak with the elites, they only sought to see his true face, not even dare to imagine that they would be able to see him in person one day.

Noticing that the man behind him was not following, Mo Ci glanced backward.

He saw that the man whose mouth was wide open as if he was drooling was staring at a certain place.

He followed the line of sight and saw Wen Zhi and Chen Ling.

The pressure of his deep, strong gaze was too intense that when Wen Zhi saw Mo Ci’s eyes swept over, she only dared to take a small glimpse and immediately pretended to look elsewhere as if nothing was wrong.

His aura was so strong that there was no way to look back at him when her heart was about to explode under such intensive pressure!

Her gaze darted around helplessly for a moment and when she glanced back again, Mo Ci had already disappeared from the view.

“I can’t believe I’ve seen him in person, I’m definitely going to buy a lottery ticket later.” Chen Ling exclaimed exaggeratedly.

“Yes, yes. We should buy a lottery later, for sure.” Wen Zhi echoed.

Both of them were like little fangirls exclaiming when they saw their idol but they couldn’t be blamed for that.

Mo Ci was what kind of a person? He was the most remarkable legendary figure that K University had ever seen.

A gifted young man who was the pride of the world.

He was already admitted to K University when others were just entering junior high school. In his three years at the university, he had not only made significant achievements in the field of communication and transmission, but he had also won a world-renowned prize in physics.

He went on to study abroad and obtained his PhD in just three years and four months at one of the world’s top institutions. During the period, he also developed a quantum telecommunication device that changed the way the world communicates.

This disruptive research caused an immediate global sensation and the communicator soon replaced the physical communication devices in popularity.

Mo Ci had changed the traditional way of communication and created a whole new world. He was a legend to be worshipped and a unique idol to be chased by many.

He could have just relied on his looks but he insisted to rely on his talent. In the eyes of everyone, Mo Ci was a man favoured by the heavens and synonymous with perfection.

He was still discussed by many students years after his graduation and many people applied to K University because of him.

Wen Zhi was simply one of them.

As to why Mo Ci suddenly returned to the country a few years ago, why he had joined the YAYAO Technology after returning, and why he had now suddenly become the shareholder of RESET, no one knows the answer.
