New challenge

These afternoons were hectic. Today was a shooting day for the Ochimusha channel. It was for the new floor boss pitfall challenge. The floor boss we were fighting was on the 10th floor. It was being challenged by us for the first time, so I prepared for it very carefully. I couldn’t just kill myself on the Ochimusha channel.

 “Hello! Ochimusha Wakutsu!”

Wakutsu greeted the camera. He’s been pretty good at it.

“Today, what! The pitfall challenge against the floor boss!”

Wakutsu glanced at the boss room. Fortunately there was no waiting party. We could challenge the boss according to our own schedule.

“No, it’s actually the 10th floor boss, isn’t it? The 10th floor boss is the Orc general!”

Wakutsu introduced the Orc General with such enthusiasm that we’d need to edit later.

“Speaking of the Orc General, it’s an orc monster that ranks next to the Orc King and the Orc Champion! Well, there is a rumor that the Orc King is actually a human, but I don’t believe it at all! It’s an orc, after all!”

I was talking to the manager of Yokochin, also known as the Orc King. We were planning to collaborate in the near future.

“Well then, let’s go now! The pitfall challenge of Ochimusha Wakutsu! Today’s target is the Orc Generalll!!”

I cut the camera at once.

“Wakutsu. You understand, right? Run away somehow. Run away no matter what. If you face an impossible moment, use the trump card.”

“Is the trump card okay? This–”

 “Have I ever lied?”

“You just don’t admit to your lies!”

 “Are you ready?”

“Ignoringー! I’m already good! Let’s go!”

He was a lot better. I could see that he was filled with self-confidence. As expected, the number of registered users was 1 million after all.

 “Don’t turn toward the camera.”

 “Okayyー”

I entered the boss room with Wakutsu. The door closed behind us and a large magic circle marked the ground, gradually narrowing and disappearing.

 “Booooooooooo!”

 “Wow! Big! Dangerous!”

Wakutsu immediately lost all composure. This was not acting. He was really scared. That’s how different the Orc General was from the monsters we normally fought. A huge halberd to a nearby giant far over 2 meters.

“It’s bigger than I imagined! It’s impossible to deal with this alone!”

The Orc General began to walk slowly.
