“Also, the head manager also told me that, it was not only the apostles who were in an uproar over the opening of the statue’s doors, but also the Mystic Court’s administration too, having a hard time preparing for the live broadcast for the same.”  

“Well, yeah. I heard that our battle against the God Titan also had a TRP rating too.”  

　The “Play of the Gods” is being broadcasted and watched from all over the world.

  　Incidentally, when Fei was being chased around by those Gods, here in the real world, the popular host’s live commentary was keeping the audience excited and in a frenzy. 

　The sudden participation of the returned famous newcomer, known as the best rookie in the world, Fei, and the Dragon God Leo Reche.

There is no way they won’t get excited over this.

“I have heard it in rumours also though, but it is not only in this city but rather the whole world has their eyes fixed on us. — And so, I have come here to request this out of you.”

“If that were so, wouldn’t it be better to wait for my reply and then open the door, Fei-kun?”

On the other side of the door that Fei opened, was Miranda tapping the keys of the electronic terminal on her desk.

She sighed,

“Fuuuuu”

“My business was what has been written in the message I sent you a while ago, did you read it?”

“Hai , Hai, Maa, take a seat Fei-kun, Reche-sama and ……”

Looking through those thin lenses, what the head manager was looking towards was this blonde-haired girl sitting next to Fei.

“Apostle Pearl Diamond-san eh”

“Ye, YES……!”

“Spatial skill users are really indispensable, so I thought you would be joining any other team by now anyway. But to think that you ended up being picked up by Fei.”

The head manager stood up and gave off a bittersweet smile.

“So then~, Fei-kun’s concern or business was to get informed when her previous team “The Blaze of Light” has presented their application for enrolling into the next capture of the “Play of Gods” right.”

“Yeah, something like that.”

“I will just say it beforehand though, that’s a violation of the rules you know…?”

Obviously, I know…

“Teams need mutual consent and understanding between each other to work together. And, even if I were to ask the Mystic Court unilaterally, “I want to know the movement of other teams” like this time, they will not even bother to answer you back.”

“It’s the ability, the performance, the track record, that is held supreme in apprehending an apostle. The more you win the “Play of Gods”, the more preferential treatment you get from the Mystic court. The popularity from the citizens too will also rise.”

Saying this, the head manager takes off those spare glasses she was wearing and puts those in between her fingers, starting to twirl them proficiently.

“And then there are these people who try to pull others’ legs. This in itself becomes another problem altogether, you can understand too, right?”

To challenge the “Play of God” and lose it purposefully.”

“Not only that, but there are also some people who dare to stand around so that God has an advantage, defeating popular apostles and kicking them down from posing any rival to their teams.”

Such deals do take place in dark-black market, with exorbitant prices on stake.

“That is the very reason why the schedule of the respective team capture (for “Play of Gods”) participation is limited to the teams who are able to trust each other.”

“You can conduct an altogether practice of the “Play of the gods” together between the teams, play against each other, interact and then deepen your friendships accordingly. After that, then you can ask each other for that information. From the point of view being the Head Manager, I can’t tell you about that sensitive information you know? Or so I am in the position at present to not to.”

“We are not the side to pull others’ legs down, but rather are the side to push them forwards, so that is that.”

Head Manager Miranda sighs hard.

Even now, she looks at the face of Pearl, who is about to cry herself out and gives off a wry smile.

“Well, whatever, if you both were going to participate, it’s likely that the ratings (perhaps the TRP) would go on a positive hike. So, I’ll just tell you what you want to know~.”

She said so in a good mood.

While she continued to play with her spare spectacles around her fingers, she said “But in contrast, you will DEFINITELY have to win, OKAY~ Mr. Fei-kun~?”

Resting place of the Colossal Statues

Commonly known as the 

“Dive Centre”.

In front of the colossal statues having at least a 20(, rather more,) of those recording devices with approximately, a number of 22 apostles were in standby.

Pearl’s previous team, “Blazing Light”, having 19 members

With Fei, Dragon God Reche, and Pearl; these three members.

The preparations for the on screen deployment of the “Play of God” through the God-eye lens will be ready shortly. The wait time on proceeding to the capture is t-30 minutes.

“FE—FEI-SAAAA–AN!!! I-I THINK I–ITS IMPOSSIBLE! I CANNOT DO IT!?”

“you’re exaggerating~… you are just gathering some attention thats-“

“THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY STARRING DAGGERS AT MEEEEEE…. AAAHHHHHH!?”

Getting those stares from the former team members, the face of Pearl was now turning bright blue-black fast.

The live broadcast which was previously waited upon had now started rolling, due to the whole world now witnessing the incidents real time, there was no ranting whatsoever currently going on, but, the stares coming from the regions from where the camera is unable to record from was putting a lot of stress and pain on Pearl.

“Ah, it’s Miranda~”

“Good morning, Reche sama”

The one who appeared from inside the elevator was the Head Manager Miranda.

After secretly glancing over at the viewer count of the live broadcast displayed on the front screen, she continues…

“WOW, before the game even started, the number of viewers had already crossed Eighty-nine million. That is some outrageous level of attention you are getting aren’t you~”

“As expected of the first official challenge of Fei-kun and Leo-Reche together~ Though the subject of talk is not actually applicable here…”

“Oh right! Since during the game with that Titan God we participated suddenly.”

“Un. That time also we got a high audience count too. But this time it is your two official first games together, your(s) First Stage.”

Head manager voices her voice in a playful and good mood.

“By the way Pearl-kun, as you know, the game is being broadcast live and being watched by people all around the world. All the Best~.”

“ah…, awa-wa-wa-wa!?”

“Well, just play naturally and you will be all okay~. This is just a game~.”

Fei hit her shoulders which were shivering verily.

When the blonde-haired girl looked back towards him, Fei once more slapped those shoulders hard,

“I will repay the debt I owe. To the former team, with the best victory as the present.”

“…… Ye, YES!”

“It is time now.”

As soon as head manager Miranda said those words, the apostles and cameramen present came to their formation all at once.

The mouth of that colossal statue of the dragon head —- started to shine, and almost immediately, a door of light was seen formed beyond; inside it.

“Now then, let’s go.”

The one who said those words was the captain of Pearl’s previous team, “The Blaze of Light”. As soon as he tells, his teammates, subordinates, continue to go inside that opened door through that Dragon mouth.

“E-etto, and so we will now be jumping through that colossal dragon mouth holding our breaths—–“

“Let’s GO~!”

“ Wai—just wait a min please…. I still need to prepare my heaAAARRRRRR——!?”

“With her hands grasped by Reche, she was forced into the other side of the door while she still continued to scream her concerns.”

“Ja~ All the Best to you too Fei-kun~”

“I will do my job in moderation. Till in the range of my enjoyment.”

While nodding on to Miranda, Fei jumped into the mouth of the glowing dragon statue while thinking…ss
