“Now I see. Even if we know the winning conditions, since no one has ever solved this game, thus it’s “winning conditions” is something no one knows how to achieve with respect to this God’s way.”

He put those into words, intending to let only himself hear it, Fei stood up on his feet again.

Pointing right towards Reche and Pearl.

“Well, it’s decided then. Let’s do it, both of you.

“Yes? But what are you planning on doing?”

“I’m going to test every possibility thoroughly as it can be comprehended.”

-Chapter 34-

Challenging the God of Infinite.

Playground of the Gods

In front of their questioning eyes, Fei raised his foot to his feet, the back of the God that was as vast as the earth.

“Let’s start with the basics of ‘ouch’!”

And swung his heel down at the scales beneath his feet.

However, “this” God’s back didn’t even bulge, not even as small as a thud sounded.

Moreover, it was Fei that made the scream.

“Arghh! It hurts!… my-my legs!… ugh its numb…”

“…… Um, what are you doing – self-destructing yourself?”

Stare.

Pearl’s eyes were colder than any I could recollect having seen in the past.

Please explain.

“I thought that perhaps kicking it might even cause “this” God some pain. So I tried kicking it.

“How the heck would it even work!? You’re dealing with a God over here you know? Even if you step on it like that, it’s no less than an ant rampaging on an elephant’s back!”

“As I thought, Human force is a no good eh”

“AS. I. JUST. TOLD. YOU!”

“Then how about a power which is not human?”

“Eh?”

Pearl looked towards the direction Fei pointed his finger at.

There, fifteen apostles of Light of Flame Blossom gathered in one place and formed a circle. Magic spell by spell casters, and Telekinesis power by superhuman.

Both of them seem to be a type of power which might penetrate into the conscious “feelings of the Gods”.

“It seems the other side is also trying out the same principle. Well, if so many people fire all that once then… Pearl, at this place, we might as well get caught up with that and fall.”

“OH NO. PLEASE NO. HELL NO!?”

A pale-faced pearl jumps right into the transition gate and teleports immediately.

While at the same time,

KABOOM!

The sound of the air bursting up, and a gust of wind shockwaves hit Pearl’s entire whole body, she gets blown backwards.

“Kyaaaa!?”

“Oopsie, Pearl? Are you okay?”

Reche grabs hold of Pearl, who was about to fall from the pressure of the wind, saving and helping her to stay on spot.

Fei was also doing his best trying to stand firmly withstanding the shockwave.

“……As expected, you have quite some excellent apostles in your team.”

Once your capabilities reach a certain level, it is indeed a veteran team. Moreover, the timing of the magic activation was also just too perfect. It shows their daily training, the level of cooperation, how all of them are beautifully synchronized.

But.

“……I knew it!.”

Captain Ovan was speechless.

After the rising flame extinguished, the scales of Ouroboros appeared again,  radiating it’s luster as it were. Leave alone a scratch, There was not even a speck of dust visible.

“It-it can’t be!? I shot at that with all my might!? And couldn’t even peel off a single scale……”

The face of all the apostles, who had formed a circle, turned pale one after another.

While looking at those lonely figure from a distance, Fei faced face-to-face towards Pearl.

“Humans are really powerless don’t you think?”

“DON’T ASK FOR MY CONSENT FOR SUCH A SAD THING!!”

“Pearl, what is your height?”

“Yes!? Ah well, it’s probably a hundred and fifty-six centimeters, but you can’t miss that I am still in my growth spurt. Since, as I measured myself last year, I had grown three millimeters long compared to the previous!”

“Ouroboros appears to be at least ten kilometers long… ten thousand meters long.”

“……?”

Pearl tilts her small neck like a cute little kitten.

It seems that my intentions were not conveyed properly.

“It’s the body length ratio I was talking about. How much do you think a human being two meters tall would appear to someone ten thousand-meter-long, Ouroboros?”

“Well……”

“Four hundred micrometers in human perspective. It’s a rough estimate though.”

“How big is that?”

“About the size of a large pollen.”

“Could you be more specific?”

“Mites, dust mites, house dust.”

“It’s getting worse!”

“It’d be easier to understand if I told you like this perhaps.”

While pacifying the pouting pearl, Fei pointed towards the back of God, rubbing his shoe to its scales.

“In short, this God doesn’t even know what is going on, on his back, including what we’re doing at present.”

There is a myriad of pollen and dust flying in the air – but humans don’t perceive it. For a God, human beings are perhaps something of a similar degree.

“Hey, hey, Fei. If that’s the case then~.”

Reche, who was holding her arms together, raised her hand up. She had an innocent smile, but a smile as if she thought of some special mischief altogether.

“Next is my turn! I’ll try too!”

Reche starts shaking hands, wielding her strong fists.

In front of Fei, Pearl, and all the other apostles of that “Light of Flame Blossom”.

“Hey, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!? If you really go at it seriously, it’ll be seriously bad!”

“When you have an enemy so big, it’s well worth fighting with all you got don’t you also think too~”

“NO! NOT ABOUT THAT, WE’LL BE IN TROUB ──”

I wasn’t able to make it in time.

Faster than Fei could respond, or even Pearl able to escape through her transition gate in panic…

 *sfx lightening like sound

Reche’s tightened fist “exploded” on the back of the God Ouroboros.

The crushed atmosphere twisted and swirled like a tornado, the excessive force became a shockwave that blew the clouds in that sea of clouds away instantly.

“The Ouroboros?”

“It’s amazing… but isn’t it just a bit too much!!!”

“That” God’s back was now vibrating in reaction. Just as if it were the ripples of a big wave, Fei and his teammates standing on it started bouncing, as if on a trampoline.

“Help me, Fei-san!?”

“Pearl, hold on to those scales!”

Just to not get blown out down the surface, Fei and Pearl cling on to the scales with all they got. And while in that situation – .

“Aa……”

A member of the “Light of Flame Blossom” had his foot slipped.
