"My Lord, I believed you were uninterested in such affairs, therefore there were a few things that I have not reported," said Noble Sabir, with the same monotone voice as before.

"Are you the Lord of the Moon Land or am I?" asked Lord Aten with a stern voice.

Noble Sabir detected Lord Aten's anger and immediately kneeled on the ground. He might be a sovereign, however, he was not the one who ruled the Land. Plus, Lord Aten had means to have him live a life worse than death itself.

"My Lord!" he pleaded as he kneeled on the ground.

"Get up, " ordered Lord Aten, he really did show no interest to things unrelated to the Moon Land, however, his niece was the current priestess. He had better be informed about everything related to her, he will not lose her like he lost Elaine.

"Sit, both of you" Lord Anton continued, "tell me, what have you discovered?"

Noble Sabir and Lady Nadine were taken aback. Lord Aten offered them to sit? That had never happened before, so they were sitting down with awkward expressions.

Crei who was spacing out heard their conversation and had turned his gaze on the pair. No one knew what he was ready to do if they were to scheme against his wife.

Lady Nadine who felt his gaze on her shook all over from the cold eyes hovering on her. However, she was not scared away, instead, she felt even more interested in him.

"My Lord, " started Noble Sabir, " my people have found an old temple hidden near Luna Lake, and have tried to go inside, however, the lock on the gate would not open no matter what we did. From what I could deduce, that temple was built around 80 to 90 years ago, and it could have records regarding...the incident, " he said patiently.

Lord Aten stared at Noble Sabir questioningly.

"What does that have to do with the priestess?" he asked.

"The discovery of the temple was surprising because priestesses were never known to have built temples, except for the current one. We could not enter the surroundings of the temple, there was a layer of protection preventing intruders. I believe if we had the current priestess with us, we would be able to enter.

" Noble Sabir, since when have you found this temple?"

"About 15 years ago, my Lord."

"15 years? And I am only learning of this now? What were you expecting of doing once you found the records you are looking for?"

"Use it for the good of the people my L- argh!"

Crack!

Lord Aten stood up then stepped on Noble Sabir's hand, breaking his bones.

"Do you know why I never liked you Sabir? You are always trying to get behind my back and do things, just because I do not care does not mean I do not understand. I know what you have been doing in the shadows, and I think now is a good time to have you learn about the rules again, " said Lord Aten domineering as he looked down at Noble Sabir holing his broken hand.

As a sovereign, Noble Sabir should be able to regenerate a few broken bones, but his opponent was not ordinary.

Lord Aten had the pain stuck in constant time from when he broke the bones, so Noble Sabir is feeling the endless feeling of his bones breaking.

Lady Nadine who was next to Noble Sabir had her head down, not daring to look up.

"My Lord, I do not know what you have heard but those are just rumors, I am loyal to the Moon Land, I am loyal to you, " pleaded Noble Sabir.

"Loyal? To the Moon land? To me? hahaha, what a joke. The Eye, The Mouth, The Hands, and who knows what else. I know your involvement with them, and I know you took part in killing the priestess decades ago. You said you found the temple 15 years ago, lies!!! It's been 70 years since you have found it, don't think I am clueless about what happens in my own land."

Noble Sabir was shaking, he had tried his best to move in the shadows undetected, he never would have thought that the Lord was keeping an eye on him so close. He was running out of excuses to get himself out of this, but he knew the Lord was interested in the records.

"My lord, if we can get the priestess here, she can go through and retrieve those records for us," he said hoping to entice Lord Aten.

"There are no records in that temple, and you know it," Lord Aten said as he crouched down in front Noble Sabir," the temple is just your excuse to get to the priestess, what is it you really want from her?"

"M-my Lord, what do you mean?"

"I know."

"You do?" he asked, but he doubted that the Lord knew about his secret.

"My Lord," interrupted Nadine, she had to because she could sense that Noble Sabir was about to spill their secret," there might be no records inside but since the temple is protected there might be something valuable, or some information that could be used for the Moon Land."

Lord Aten was getting tired of the pair, they had come to request to search for the priestess, but then she said they have found a temple that supposedly had secret records about the incident. Now they were saying it might have valuables, whatever it was, he could not let his niece fall prey to those people's schemes. As Lord Aten thought, he finally came to a solution then he turned to look at his nephew-in-law, Crei.
