Ren Qianbo laughed and patted Lu Feng on the shoulder, “Boss Lu can give you six cents. How forthright!”

He had already said it, so it was now six cents. He definitely will not dare to raise it today. He can earn money every day, but I can tell that things aren’t too good from his words.

“Datou!” Lu Feng called Datou over and said, “Be careful. It’s not peaceful today.”

“Got it!”

The daytime time was stable, and the goods were shipped smoothly. However, the quality of the fruits decreased, and the shipments increased, but the profits fell. Till sunset, the gains had dropped from the peak of 10,000 dollars to 1,800 dollars today.

Lu Feng’s funds were close to 250,000. This money was enough for him to build a factory from scratch. Even if he didn’t earn a single cent, it would not matter if he played with Ren Qianbo.

After arranging for everything in the evening, Lu Feng bought some food and rushed home. Jiang Xiaoyan changed into a new set of clothes and put on her high heels, looking tall and elegant. She could feel that she was becoming more and more feminine recently.

The smile on her face scattered radiance.

While eating, Lu Feng said that he wanted to buy a TV. Jiang Xiaoyan advised him to spend less money. Suddenly, there was an angry knock on the door.

“It’s Wu Hongyu again?”

Lu Feng furrowed his brows. This wasn’t something that happened every day. Just as he was about to speak, Datou’s voice came from outside the door.” Brother Feng, are you home? Something happened.”

Lu Feng’s heart skipped a beat. He cried out loud; something was wrong and swiftly opened the door. Datou was out of breath as he shouted, “Someone smashed our workshop and is still looking to hit someone.”

“Who is it?”

“I don’t know. I heard it on the road and rushed there. I didn’t wait to say anything. I went up with a stick to smash and hit him.” Datou was so anxious that he was about to cry.

“What should we do?” Jiang Xiaoyan was at a loss for words.

“I’ll go take a look.” As Lu Feng spoke, he was about to leave,

“Don’t go. What if you get beaten up?” Jiang Xiaoyan pulled him and refused to let go.

“It’s fine. Lock the door and don’t open no matter who knocks.” Lu Feng turned his head and walked away. Jiang Xiaoyan had not experienced anything remotely similar to this. She was so nervous that she could not even eat. She sat on the bed with her arms around her daughter as she mumbled to herself, hoping that he would be safe.

Lu Feng climbed down the stairs and turned to Datou, “Get in the car!”

“Brother Feng, it must be Ren Qianbo who sent them. He smashed all the glass bottles and even the packaging machine. Why don’t we find some people before going over? Sister-in-law’s (Jiang Xiaoyan’s) worries are reasonable.” Datou sat in the back seat and spoke.

“Datou, remember this. Brother Feng isn’t a good person. As for those b*stards, they scared me away. I don’t want to open the factory either.” Lu Feng commanded, then sighed.

These people are people of the streets, dangerous people. 

“Should we just go home and become diaper washers?”

After he finished speaking, he turned the accelerator and sped away.

The workshop was in a mess. The mains wires were cut off, and the workers were gathered in a room. They could see shattered glass, dented cans, and scattered soup everywhere.

“Boss Lu is here!”

“Boss Lu, what should we do?”

Lu Feng parked his motorcycle and asked, “Where are they?”

Han Dong walked over and reported, “He ran away after breaking the fuse wire. There’s no one else.”

“Was he hurt?” Lu Feng asked.

“No!”

“Everyone, close the doors and windows, connect the electricity, pack up and go home. We’ll pay you for tonight.” Lu Feng instructed.

“Do you want us to work tomorrow?”

Lu Feng went inside and examined the workshop with a flashlight. The attackers had already damaged the packaging machine. It was tough to find someone who could repair this imported packaging machine.

“Everyone, calm down. The packaging machine is broken, and this workshop can’t continue. If you want to continue working with me, everyone, go back and wait for me for a week. This small workshop is too small. I want to set up a large factory. Soon, come directly to work. If you want a salary, come and get it tomorrow morning.”

The crowd was chattering among themselves. Most of them were asking for their salaries. There were too many unpaid salaries, and no one could believe it!

The workers dispersed. Datou looked at the mess inside and was discouraged as he squatted on the ground. He wanted to work here for a few more years. It had only been a short time, and it was over.

Han Dong walked over and said, “Boss Lu, I want to follow you to the new factory!”

Lu Feng nodded and asked,” Which bastard is famous here?”

“Brother Feng, what are you doing?” Datou felt that something was wrong.

“It won’t be that easy to break down my workshop. I’ll break it down today and make a new factory tomorrow. If anyone dares to come here, they’ll have to first scare these criminals into doing their business. No matter how much money someone gives them, they’ll have to reconsider it.”

“I know a guy called Mad Dog. Everyone has to give him respect, and he is at Monopoly.” Han Dong said.

Lu Feng nodded and extinguished his cigarette. He stood up, “You two go back and rest early.”

“Brother Feng, what are you going to do?” Datou stared at Lu Feng and said, “Don’t go. Those people are especially ruthless. You don’t want to fight with them.”

“Yeah, they smashed the workshop when you weren’t involved; god knows what they will do if you do get actively involved.” Han Dong also persuaded.

“Hur, Hur!” Lu Feng smiled. “In the ranks of the commoners, the truly ruthless ones are always merchants. Go back and sleep.”

“I’ll go with you!”

“I’ll go too. If there’s anything, I’ll take care of it.” Datou and Han Dong insisted.

Lu Feng was silent. The three of them rode their motorcycles towards the city center. The Monopoly was a dance hall. The current dance hall was equivalent to a nightclub in the modern era. It was chaotic and expensive.

Unlike the dance plaza many years later, the discos in the ballroom had caused countless couples to fall apart.

It was 10 p.m., and the entire city was asleep. Only the dance music here was exciting. The colorful lights and graceful dance steps were a great veil to cover the illegal business.

“Boss, do you want to dance?” A beautiful girl in exposed clothes offered.

”Scram!” Lu Feng sneered.

Lu Feng waved his hands repeatedly after being invited by the dancers. Common people would not dare to come to a place like this. They could not afford to dance with those girls.

Datou and Han Dong stared at him with wide eyes. Tonight was an eye-opener. The two of them even felt that Lu Feng often came here as he acted familiar.

They did not know that he was a nightclub prince in his previous life.

The dancers were either standing or sitting, and a woman in her forties was seated in the front. She was smoked and chatted happily. Lu Feng walked up to her and stared at her.

“Why are you looking at me? Why don’t you look at the many girls here? Why are you looking at an old woman like me?” The woman looked up at Lu Feng with some dissatisfaction.

“I’m looking for someone.” Lu Feng inquired.

“I don’t know him!”

“I’m looking for Mad Dog. Where is he?”

“Why are you looking for Brother Dog? Who are you?” The woman sized up Lu Feng.

“I’m his friend!” Han Dong chimed in.

Mad Dog’s reputation was very high out here. Who was not afraid in front of him? 

Datou admired Lu Feng. No matter the situation, he was calm and did not have any stage fright, as if it was real.

“Just tell me where he is. I’m in a bad mood today. Consider the consequences before you make me angry.” As Lu Feng spoke, he took out a cigarette and threw it into his mouth. His actions were very graceful.

“Everyone here is one of us. Don’t be angry.” A smile appeared on the woman’s face as she stood up and said, “I’ll go inform Brother Dog, Yanyan and Lili, accompany this Brother till then!”

The two slender women with thick makeup agreed and walked towards Lu Feng with a smile.

“Get lost!” Lu Feng shouted!

Yan Yan and Lili were so scared that they dared not step forward.
