Happy Too Early

They had too much money in Jiang Xiaoyan’s eyes. Two hundred thousand was beyond her imagination, but she oblivious of the fact that ten years later, she would not even be able to buy a toilet with this amount.

Lu Feng gazed in her eyes and reached out to touch her long black hair. “What is too much money? Don’t worry, I’ll settle everything and let you live a good life. It’s time for us to change houses!”

“Where should we change to? I’ll find one in a few days.” Jiang Xiaoyan whispered.

“Get some rest!”

Lu Feng was lying on the bed, wondering what type of factory he should open. There was a huge range between all walks of life; whether it was clothing, food, toys, or household goods, there was a huge market in many fields.

“Let’s go take a look in the afternoon, but let’s eat first.” As soon as Lu Feng finished speaking, a middle-aged man flew over to the workshop on his motorcycle.

“Boss Lu, right?” The man sized them up and asked.

“Yes, who’s asking?” Lu Feng looked at him in confusion.

“I’m the manager of the Wan Yuan Food Factory. We’re treating you to a meal today at the Grand Hyatt Hotel” The other party did not waste their breath after declaring and left momentarily.

“We don’t have any enmity with Ren Qianbo. He’s treating us to dinner, we don’t need to confirm. We now know that he’s showing off his might.” Datou was dissatisfied and said in a low voice, “Isn’t he just bullying us?”

On the sixth floor of The Grand Hyatt Hotel, inside a private room, many familiar faces were present. He Yanli sat beside President Ren, and looked stunning, she was well-dressed and looked even more feminine.

Zhou Jianguo, Sun Longbin, and Wu Hongyu took their seats turn-wise. Lu Feng pushed open the door and walked in. He glanced at everyone and said, “Aiyo, it’s so merry here. Looks like I’m late.”

“Boss Lu has a lot of matters to attend to, it’s not strange for him to be late. It is understandable that he’s clearing the account today.” Ren Qianbo’s words were filled with concern, but he couldn’t stop smiling. He called out, “Sit, sit!”

Lu Feng sat down and looked at He Yanli, he said in surprise, “Aiyo, isn’t this Widow He? You’ve got another man? Look at how feminine you are.”

He Yanli coughed twice, her expression ugly.

“Sister He has made a comeback. CEO Ren’s factory is getting popular by the day. On the contrary, someone went bankrupt. It’s making people laugh.” Wu Hongyu praised him from the side.

“Wu Hongyu? Haven’t you always been interested in He Yanli?” Lu Feng turned his head to look at Ren Qianbo and said, “Chief Ren, let me remind you to be careful. Using movies for reference, there are too many scenes with servants hooking up with their mistress.”

Everyone raised their glasses. Only Datou and Han Dong were embarrassed and did not know if they should go with the crowd.

Lu Feng lifted his cup and clinked it with Ren’s.” What are you laughing about? Do you think you won?”

“Isn’t that so?” Ren Qianbo shrugged and said proudly, “What can you do to me? Your workers have been dismissed.”

“It’s easy to find workers. Let me tell you a secret that I haven’t told anyone about, I’m planning to build a decent factory that mainly produces children’s food and canned food. Don’t think that you’ve won just yet. The war has only begun. One canned food factory lost in war is just collateral. 

Lu Feng said with a sinister smile and gulped a mouthful of wine.

Ren Qianbo’s face turned cold. Lu Feng had dared to come to attack back. “You–” he said.

“If you have anything to say, go ahead.” Lu Feng put down his glass and walked towards Wu Hongyu.

He patted him heavily on the shoulder, and said, “Brother, don’t make a fool of yourself trying to be a tiger. You have to be careful of your legs.”

Wu HongYu back was drenched in cold sweat.

“Take your time to celebrate, but let me tell you, it’s too early to be happy.” Lu Feng beckoned towards Datou and Han Dong, they opened the door and the trio exited.

I and Brighteyes have been working on this novel for some time now, and we have put a lot of effort into it. It might not be perfect, but it would be great to see some reactions from time to time.
Honestly speaking, translating and editing is not fun when there is no feedback, it really feels like a burden then. So, we thought it might be good to drop some bait for a win-win situation. (●’◡’●)
The discussion and fan theories are the most fun about web novels in my perspective; it really fires me up knowing someone is looking forward to my work and can spare time to think about it.
