Chapter 14: A Life With Too Much Blessings

Cen Qiusheng didn’t expect his youngest son to come back at this time, but looking at his pale face and lips, he frowned and said, “Baihe, why didn’t you stay in the hospital?”

Cen Baihe glanced at the row of cars parked at the door, lowered his head and said, “Staying in the hospital doesn’t help, so it’s better to come out and get some air.”

Cen Qiusheng knew that his youngest son had never believed in Feng Shui and superstition, so he didn’t tell him about it. He didn’t expect him to find out.

Glancing at Liang Feng who was following behind Cen Baihe, Cen Qiusheng sighed, “The weather outside is not so good, you go back and rest.”

Cen Baihe stretched out his hand to open the car door and said, “How can I miss such a lively event?”

“Baihe, there’s no more space in the car and the country road is difficult to walk in. It’s better if you don’t go.” First Master Cen held his brother and smiled awkwardly.

One needs to pay attention to a few things when studying reading Feng Shui. It’s especially taboo to have someone who didn’t believe in Feng Shui say something disrespectful. Today was an important day, he was afraid that his brother might ruin it.

First Master Cen was a simple and honest person, and he took good care of his younger siblings. In his opinion, if rebuilding the ancestral house was good for the youngest brother’s health, he would definitely agree.

Because of this, he was even more afraid that his youngest brother would do something irrational.

But because of his health, he rarely revealed his emotions. After saying that, he could not figure what his youngest brother was thinking from his face.

“It’s fine if this car is full.” Cen Baihe looked behind and picked a car that was nearest to him. There was no one in the car, so he sat in it quietly.

Qi Yan who was standing outside the door did now know what was happening when he saw a person whose body was surrounded by an intense purple mist sitting in the car that he was supposed to be in.

He turned around and looked at the bodyguard who opened the door for him. The bodyguard looked at him awkwardly.

Qi Yan thought about it for a while and got into the car with the man, as long as some of the purple mist could rub off on him as well.

After the door closed, Qi Yan looked at the man beside him who was surrounded by purple mist but looked unhealthy. He realized that he had an attractive face. His dark hair was brushed to the back of his ears. There was some beauty in his sickness. His hand was placed on his knee. The joints were distinct and each finger was long and fair. If he had a bit more flesh it would be perfect.

Cen Baihe noticed the young man beside him looking at him. He turned and met his eyes. The person smiled and revealed a small dimple.

He paused for a while and nodded at the young man. Then, he retracted his gaze.

Qi Yan did not mind his cold attitude. He turned back and started playing on his phone.

There was a momentary silence in the car. When the engine started, Qi Yan kept his phone, leaned his head against the headrest and closed his eyes.

After the car drove a distance, the road became bumpy. Qi Yan noticed that the car had driven out of the suburbs and on a small country road.

The Capital City was developed. Even the countryside was lively. Once in a while there was a luxurious car that drove past them, shining brightly under the sun.

“Are you ok? You don’t look so well.” Qi Yan turned his head and looked at the person beside him, “Are you car sick?”

The bodyguard who was driving heard that Young Fifth might be car sick and stopped the car immediately. He turned around and asked anxiously, “Young Fifth, are you ok?!”

“I’m fine, continue driving.” Cen Baihe covered his mouth with a handkerchief and coughed twice.

Qi Yan heard the driver address the man beside him as “Young Fifth” and guessed his identity.

Cen Qiusheng’s youngest son, the one who supposedly could not live long.

He thought that Fifth Master Cen would look sickly and filled with negative emotions, but he was not as he expected at all.

This was a person who had a strong heart. Hence, he remained so steady despite being so ill. Even though his attitude was cold, as a person who was sick since he was young, it was not easy for him to be like this.

In his opinion, Fifth Master Cen’s had a blessed fate. He was the most blessed among everyone he’d seen before. But perhaps his life was too prosperous, his body could not handle it which caused him to be weak and sickly.

People often said that there was someone whose life was extremely prosperous. In reality, there was no such thing. Those who had such a good life would either die young because their body couldn’t handle it, or they’d face a lot of obstacles in a high position.

Fifth Master Cen had been loved by his family since he was born. He also had exceptional abilities. Someone like that wouldn’t face too many obstacles in life, so his abundant blessings could not be balanced out this way.

It’s a pity that the first person he met who had so many blessings would not be able to live long. How could such a life be easily changed by rebuilding an ancestral house?

“Little brother, what’s wrong?” Second Miss Cen saw her brother’s car stopped and was worried about his condition. So she immediately got down to check.
