The Strongest Sect of All Times

Chapter 39: does ai zou like beatings

The great Sect Head Jun’s kick had been very sudden and very quick. By the time the young master thudded to the ground, the group of subordinates barely realized what had just happened.

“Young Master!”

They panicked and rushed over, supporting the young master by the arm. They found a large footprint on his face, indicating that he had been sent flying with a kick!

The young master covered his face, speaking in disbelief, “You… You dare to hit me?!”

“Boy, you’ve made a big mistake!”

“My young master is the third young master of the Ai Family, hitting him is equivalent to hitting the Ai Family!”

“You Ironbone Unyielding Sect… Just wait for your extermination!”

The subordinates angrily shouted.

However, they quickly shut up, because the Ironbone Sect disciples soon walked out the gates, standing behind Jun Changxiao.

The so-called Third Young Master Ai only had a few subordinates with him.

Facing Sect Head Jun and almost a hundred disciples, it was clear which side was on top.

It must be said that this group of disciples was pretty good. At least, in a situation like this, Jun Changxiao didn’t need to act and could use suppression by numbers.

Comparing strength, you are not worthy.

Comparing numbers? You are even less worthy!

“Ai Family?” Jun Changxiao clasped his hands, smiling, “Is it very strong? Do they dare to extinguish my Ironbone Unyielding Sect?”

Li Qingyang shuffled over and whispered, “Sect Head, the Ai Family is a noble clan from Huyang City.”

Huyang City?

Jun Changxiao had heard of it before. As one of Qingyang Commandery’s eight major cities, it was comparable to Qingyang City, filled with noble families and sects.

Li Qingyang added, “The Ai Family has run an alchemy business in Huyang City for generations, supplying most of the area’s pills and medicines. It’s financial power is very great and has broad connections; it is much more powerful than my family.”

“So they sell pills?” Jun Changxiao touched his nose.

Li Qingyang continued, “This person is named Ai Zou, the third child of the Ai Family Patriarch. Using his family’s status, he has run amuck in the city, becoming one of Qingyang Commandery’s famous playboys.”

“Ai Zou?” Jun Changxiao shook his head. “Even his name suggests that I should beat him up.” [1]

“…”

Li Qingyang was speechless.

His words were not meant to emphasize whether or not the young master should be beaten, but to inform the sect head that the boy’s background wasn’t simple.

Ai Zou felt a burning pain from his face and angrily shouted, “Boy, quickly call the Ironbone Sect’s head! Tell him to give this young master an apology immediately!”

Jun Changxiao said, “No need, the sect head is here.”

Saying that, he naturally flicked his sleeves and clasped his hands behind his back, puffing his chest slightly.

What model posture, what great acting!

“Here?”

Ai Zou was startled, then looked at Li Qingyang. He then angrily said, “So you are the sect head. Quickly apologize to this young master!”

Li Qingyang felt the corners of his mouth twitch and he retreated two steps, shooting a glance towards Jun Changxiao, indicating that this man was the Ironbone Unyielding Sect Head.

“No?” Seeing him back him, Ai Zou realized he had guessed mistakenly. He then swept a glance over the other disciples, but found it hard to pick out which one of them was the sect head. He thus roared, “Ironbone Unyielding Sect Head, don’t think that this young master will give up just because you’re hiding!”

Li Qingyang: “…”

The other disciples: “…”

They were all thinking, Is this guy an idiot?

Jun Changxiao, who had been exuding the air of a sect head this entire time, felt his expression twitching. He finally could not bear it anymore and raged, “Are you a fucking fool? This lord has been standing before you in plain sight but you still can’t tell?!”

Ta! Ta!

As he spoke, he walked forward as his anger soared.

The subordinates quickly stood in front of their young master, raising their fists and standing in a battle formation. One stuttered, “I-I’m warning you, d-don’t…”

“Fuck off!” Jun Changxiao kicked the stuttering man off to the side and stepped in front of Ai Zou. He picked the young master up by his collar and glared, “Boy, listen clearly. This lord is the Ironbone Unyielding Sect’s head!”

His voice was low and deep, exuding murderous intention!

Ai Zou felt his scalp tingling with fear; he was too scared to even sweat.

The Ai Family servants supporting him were too scared into cold sweat.

Jun Changxiao, who had killed numerous bandits… Once he let his killing intent out, his imposing manner and murderous aura was too much for a little playboy to withstand.

“Did you hear me?” Jun Changxiao roared.

The voice was very loud, startling even Li Qingyang and the other disciples. These words echoed in Ai Zou’s ears and resounding through his whole body, threatening to break his eardrums. His face twisted, but he was eventually able to force out a, “I-I heard!”

Jun Changxiao then pointed at the stairs, coldly commanding, “Fuck off.”

Shua! Shua!

The Ai Family servants were like fish in water. Even if they were merely Stage Two cultivators, they vanished with Ai Zou at maximum speed, not even leaving behind a final insult.

Without relaxing his murderous aura, Jun Changxiao turned around.

Faced with an onslaught of killing intent, the disciples looked at each other and simultaneously drew back a step.

“Sect Head…”

Li Qingyang weakly said, “Are you all right?”

Jun Changxiao walked over, his murderous aura slowly dissipating. He put a hand on the boy’s shoulder then rested his head on the back of his hand. He weeped, “Does this lord not look like a sect head?”

Li Qingyang expressed his sympathy.

The other disciples also understood the sect head’s depression.

“Don’t cry.”

Lu Qianqian stood beneath a tree, glancing at the youth still lying on the ground. She said, “This person’s wounds are quite heavy. Without treatment, they will likely die.”

Ironbone Unyielding Sect, medicine pavilion.

Inside, there was no medicinal equipment nor medicinal herbs, only a simple bed. Even the name ‘Medicinal Pavilion’ was given on the spot, simply because of the injured youth.

A sect not only needed an inner and outer court, but it also needed a medicine pavilion, a martial hall, martial skill pavilion, and so on.

But no rush, no rush.

A road had to be travelled step by step. Things had to be taken care of one by one; one should not bite off more than they can chew.

“Sect Head.”

After a slight inspection, Li Qingyang reported, “Eight of his ribs are broken. With such serious internal injury, the situation is grave; he needs immediate treatment.”

Jun Changxiao said, “Is there enough time to invite a doctor from the town?”

Li Qingyang shook his head. “The wounds are too heavy, an ordinary doctor will not be able to treat him. But…”

“But what?”

“But if we use the sect’s precious healing pill, we can bring him back from the brink of death.”

Based on how heavily he had been injured himself, Li Qingyang realized that as long as Sect Head brought out the healing pill, this youth’s injuries could be treated with ease.

“This…”

Jun Changxiao hesitated.

Lu Qianqian, who still stood at the doors, said, “That pill can instantly recover injuries, do you think it's candy sold on the streets?”

“That’s true.” Li Qingyang looked at the youth, whose face was covered in dirt. Shaking his head, he concluded, “Sect Head, he can only last 2 more hours.”

Jun Changxiao stroked his chin. “I do indeed have another healing pill. You tell me, should I save him or not?”

“Save him!”

“Don’t save him!”
