Chapter 21.1 – Meeting Acquaintances

The billiards hall wasn’t big. It was a private area, so it wasn’t set up very formally.

There were eight billiard tables in the room, with many people gathered beneath the white lights. They were all gangsters with jackets and tattooed arms, sitting in every corner. Some were smoking, some were playing cards, and others were playing on their cell phones.

The only table really playing billiards was at the far right. It was surrounded by a crowd of people, and the sounds of their playing rang out noisily, non-stop. A haze of black smoke hovered over the area.

As soon as Ma Xiaoding arrived at the entrance and saw what was going on inside, he fiercely swallowed his words back into his stomach. His attitude of kicking open the doors to start a fight withered instantly.

“Brother Yu…” Ma Xiaoding turned back miserably, his face wrinkled like a bitter melon, “There’s, there’s a lot of people. Maybe we should wait until next time when we can catch him alone.”

You’ve already kicked the doors open. Is it even possible to leave?

Didn’t you check to see how many people were there when you decided to go up and beat people up?

The corner of Song Yu’s lips twitched. He directly kicked him in the buttocks from behind.

“How did you manage to be a junior high school bully like this?”

This was the lowest level high school bully he’d ever see.

Ma Xiaoding didn’t have a good hold on the door frame. He staggered forward as soon as he was kicked and ended up standing in front of the crowd.

His sudden appearance naturally attracted many people’s attention.

The gangsters held cigarettes in their hands, their eyelids hooded as they looked over. Their gazes weren’t very friendly.

There was a small music bar inside the billiards hall that was playing a gentle song scattering cold-toned colored lights over everyone’s face.

Ma Xiaoding wanted to cry. He was just a high school student; how could he dare pretend to be a big guy in front of this group of adult gangsters?

He looked back subconsciously, swallowing hard, his legs trembling.

… Was it possible to run away now?

A young man with a dirty ponytail stubbed out his cigarette. When he saw the boy’s panicked appearance, he whistled and laughed, “You ended up in the wrong place, little friend. The internet cafe is on the second floor, this isn’t a place that good students come to.”

Ma Xiaoding didn’t dare to answer him. He looked back at Song Yu frequently, asking for help.

Song Yu glanced at him and said lightly, “Promising.”

He took a step forward and replaced Ma Xiaoding as the center of public attention.

The teenager stood tall and straight, dressed in a white shirt and black trousers. His hair and pupils were light brown, and his eyelashes were curly and long. His skin was fair, and at first glance, he seemed mild and harmless. It was just that when he lifted his eyelids slightly, his temper and willfulness would unconsciously spread out, and the momentum of his aura was very strong.

“Little child, did you come looking for your mother?”

The man with the dirty ponytail didn’t think much of their group. His mouth was pulled up in a grin as he taunted them.

Song Yu was too lazy to pay attention to him. He tilted his head and asked Ma Xiaoding, “Where is Zhu Zhixing?”

Ma Xiaoding was still in a daze.

Song Yu repeated himself, “Where is Zhu Zhixing?”

Ma Xiaoding heard the chill in his tone. He shivered and stood up on tiptoe to look around, but there were too many people gathered and the environment was too noisy. He stretched his head out for a long time without finding Zhu Zhixing.

The man with the dirty ponytail tsk-ed. He was a little unhappy with being ignored, so he stood up and gave a superficial smile, “If you’re not here looking for your mother, then that’s great. I, your big brother, will help you look.”

His status amongst this group of thugs should be quite high. The people beside him didn’t dare to kick up a fuss when they saw his actions, and the noisy environment even grew quieter for a moment.

The man with the dirty ponytail yelled towards the depths of the room, “Zhu Zhixing, who is Zhu Zhixing! Quickly get the hell out here! Someone’s come looking for you!”

At this time, the group of people around the billiards table suddenly burst out into applause, cheers, and whistles. The sound of a strike was crisp and pleasant, and it seemed that a beautiful move had just been played.

The man with the dirty ponytail’s voice was very clear amidst the ruckus.

Several people by the table heard him and turned to look at the door. There was a bit of space between them, revealing the last black ball on the table that was unsteadily making its way along the green table, rolling towards the hole in the corner.

Ma Xiaoding’s eyesight finally grew sharp again. He pointed to a short and thin boy standing in the innermost corner, who’d been revealed in the gap, and shouted, “Brother Yu! That boy over there is Zhu Zhixing!”

Zhu Zhixing, who’d just been named, glared and looked over at them with wide eyes. When he saw that it was Ma Xiaoding, his expression grew extremely awkward.

Thump.

The black ball dropped into the bag.

The game was over.

At the front of the billiards table, a man in a plaid shirt who looked to be in his twenties stood up straight and slowly wiped a hand down the cue stick.

The man with the dirty ponytail clapped his hands and walked forward, “Old Chen, a group of little friends came here looking for someone. Why don’t you hurry and help them find who they’re looking for? These little friends will end up sniveling if they get too anxious from waiting.”

Plaid Shirt had single eyelids, thin lips, and a nose ring. His entire person looked like he wasn’t a good person to offend, and his speech was also very blunt. He glanced over, “F*ck looking for people, tell them to get the hell out!”

Dirty Ponytail had expected this and laughed, “Tsk, you’re really not interesting. Since they’ve already come, why not have them stay and play a bit.”

Ma Xiaoding was the type who would get worked up when seeing an enemy. He wished he could rush over, pull Zhu Zhixing out of the crowd and beat him up.

He even forgot to be afraid and said to Song Yu, “Brother Yu, it’s this grandson1! He scolded you and Xie Sui! And he even came up with those insidious and disgusting ideas.”

Zhu Zhixing was following behind a youth who looked similar to Plaid Shirt. He glared fiercely at Ma Xiaoding, then stood up on tiptoe and said something into the youth’s ear.

The youth was wearing a school uniform, and his hair was dyed a variety of colors. There was a high probability that he was the No.1 High’s second year school bully.

Zhu Zhixing grew up looking very sleazy, and his gaze was as insidious as a snake’s when he looked at Ma Xiaoding.

Chen Zhijie raised his eyebrows. His gaze fell disdainfully on Ma Xiaoding, and he asked, “Is this the person who’s been troubling you?”

Zhu Zhixing immediately sucked up and added fuel to the fire, “That’s him. This kid was a thorn in our sides in junior high, and he’s used to being lawless and unruly. He even said that he wants to take your position as the school bully after entering No.1 High.”

Chen Zhijie sneered. The disdain in his eyes was practically overflowing, “What does he think he is.”

He went over to Plaid Shirt, “Big brother, don’t be in a hurry to drive them out. These people are my schoolmates.”

His gaze landed on their group, a sinister smile unfolding at the corners of his lips.

“They’re here to pick a fight. Since they’ve already come in, how could it be so easy for them to leave.”

The atmosphere in the room dropped to the freezing point in a flash.

Dirty Ponytail followed suit and egged them on, “Old Chen, you see, your brother is more clear about what should be done than you are.”

The gangsters all laughed and jeered.

“Students who came to pick a fight?”

“Hahahahaha they actually came here.”

“I’m afraid they’re here as a joke.”

“I’ll close the door first.”

A gangster who was sitting at the door gloated and laughed. He stubbed out his cigarette with his foot, kicked the door closed, then stood there and said, “Little children, don’t leave so quickly today.”

Ma Xiaoding’s younger brothers instantly turned pale.

In the final analysis, they were just a group of 15 year old high school students who hadn’t yet come out of their ivory towers. They were subconsciously afraid when faced with these people, and now that they’d been forced to this point, they’d fallen into a stunned daze.

Dirty Ponytail smiled like a fox, his expression sinister.

Plaid Shirt’s small eyes narrowed slowly.

Chen Zhijie was still talking, “You followed all the way to this place. You probably really want to have a friendly fight with us. I heard that you’re looking for Zhu Zhixing?”

Ma Xiaoding gritted his teeth and simply went all out.

In this situation, if even he started acting scared, it was all over.

Ma Xiaoding, who felt a sense of responsibility, put on a tough act despite his inner timidity, “Yes! Zhu Zhixing and I have a personal grudge. Hand him over to us and we’ll leave immediately!”

Song Yu: “……”

This idiot.

After a moment, they unsurprisingly received the unbridled ridicule of everyone in the room.

Dirty Ponytail laughed in an exaggerated manner, holding onto the billiards table and wiping the corner of his eyes, “Little friend, you haven’t figured out the situation yet––it’s not a question of whether or not you leave, but whether or not you and your little brothers can leave.”

Ma Xiaoding was really scared now. He really regretted his initial behavior; why had he dragged Brother Yu into this?

His palms were sweating and his voice trembled, “I…”

Chen Zhijie was also laughing, but his laughter wasn’t as exaggerated.

He said, “How about this. At the end of the day, you’re a fellow student, and I won’t embarrass you. Let’s play a game tonight.”

“If you win against me, I’ll let you go and hand Zhu Zhixing over to you. If you lose, run out and learn to bark under the national flag when the flag is raised up at school on Monday. What do you say?”

Song Yu couldn’t watch on anymore. He wanted to pull Ma Xiaoding down and go up himself. It was just that an extra hand suddenly landed on his shoulder; Xie Sui’s.

Song Yu was surprised and tilted his head.

Xie Sui’s expression hadn’t changed, and his delicate facial features seemed remote and disconnected from the world in the cold lights.

Learn to bark when raising the flag.

That would be like sweeping the floor with his dignity in front of the whole school. Not to mention, Ma Xiaoding had been a major figure in junior high.

For a fifteen year old youth, this was a very huge insult.

Ma Xiaoding’s face turned red, and he clenched his fists tightly. He was blaming himself for his recklessness, for dragging others with him to this point. He gritted his teeth and glared.

“What’s the game?”

Chen Zhijie spoke to Plaid Shirt, “Big brother, lend me your space.”

To Plaid Shirt, watching them fight was like watching primary school students scuffle. He crossed his hands over his chest, took a step back, and raised his chin.

“Use it.”

Chen Zhijie pulled off his school uniform jacket, picked up a cue, and smirked at Ma Xiaoding, “Snooker. Can you play?”

The gangsters in the room all looked like they were watching a play. This billiards hall was run by Chen Zhijie’s big brother, and Chen Zhijie had been influenced by him and followed suit, learning how to play. He couldn’t be considered a high level player, but he had more than enough skill to bully novices. This was clearly an unfair competition, but that unfortunate little brat, he had to play even if he didn’t know how to.

Chapter 21.2 – Meeting Acquaintances

Ma Xiaoding was shocked silly.

He could play billiards, but he usually played 8-ball or 9-ball, and had never touched snooker.

Song Yu’s line of sight went through the crowd and focused on Zhu Zhixing.

He was very short and very thin. He had a lot of acne on his face, looked sleazy, and his behavior was cringing and timid.

He didn’t dare to lift his head when he met his gaze, standing silently behind Chen Zhijie.

Vile, cowardly, poisonous.

And it was such a person who’d caused Xie Sui to have three nightmarish years in junior high.

And he’d tried to target Xie Sui’s grandmother.

He originally felt that there was no need to pursue the matter further since Xie Sui had let it go. However, while Xie Sui might be kind and tolerant, there were some people who wouldn’t change their ways. Additionally, perhaps Xie Sui was still short of an apology and reparation.

Song Yu turned back to say lightly to Xie Sui, “Take them and pull back.”

Xie Sui looked down and stared at him.

Song Yu took a step forward, pressed down on Ma Xiaoding’s shoulder, and dragged him backwards.

Ma Xiaoding stared at him. His heart was guilty, worried, and a little confused about what he was trying to do, but even so, he subconsciously trusted in Brother Yu.

Song Yu’s expression was calm as he stood there beneath the lights, but the smile on his lips was very cold, “I’ll play with you, but I want to change the rules.”

Chen Zhijie didn’t take the seemingly polite Song Yu seriously at all. He flicked his hand and laughed, “Do you think you’re qualified to negotiate with us?”

“How am I not qualified.”

Song Yu suddenly reached out and grabbed the other end of the cue. He took two steps forward, dragging Chen Zhijie to a stop in front of him and grabbing him by his clothes.

His smile was tough and cold, “You can give it a try, I’ll fight against your group.”

The group of gangsters around them all set aside their thoughts of watching a play, and their expressions grew serious.

Just from the moves Song Yu had shown just now, it could be seen at a glance that he was a trained fighter.

“You––”

Chen Zhijie’s face was flushed. He felt that all his dignity had been lost. He wanted to struggle, but the hand that was holding him by his collar was like iron, and struggling only made it more difficult to breathe. He was about to start suffocating.

Dirty Ponytail came forward, looking as though he wanted to break them apart. But Song Yu had already pulled the cue out from Chen Zhijie’s hands and, as soon as he raised his arm, the tip of the cue came to a stop directly in front of Dirty Ponytail’s eyes, stopping one centimeter short of stabbing straight in.

Dirty Ponytail stiffened and immediately stood still.

He stared fixedly at Song Yu’s side profile.

Only, Song Yu’s gaze never shifted to him. The more careless he appeared, the more frightening it was.

Song Yu spoke, “I’ll definitely be taking Zhu Zhixing away today. There’s no need to add that to the rules.”

“So, let’s change the rules. If I win, you’ll bark beneath the flag. If I lose, I’ll accept the penalty. Those who insult others will always be humiliated; I’ll teach you a lesson today.”

Chen Zhijie was given a chance to breathe. He retreated, then burst out in a rage, “Big brother! I’m not playing anymore! Kill him!”

Plaid Shirt also didn’t have the same lazy and careless attitude from before. He came forward and spoke in a sinister tone, “Little brat, you’ve gone crazy.”

Song Yu raised his eyebrows and smiled, not very modestly, “Not really.” It was back to the same sentence; there was no shortage of fights.

“I f*ckin––”

Plaid shirt was very angry. His expression changed and he punched out with a fist.

The people beside them naturally couldn’t continue to remain stupefied. Of course, they rushed forward from all directions, intending to hold Song Yu down.

“Brother Yu!”

Ma Xiaoding’s expression changed greatly. He rushed up, roaring, “Do you know who he is! If you dare to touch him, there’ll be no way out for you in Jing City!”

Dirty Ponytail was vomiting blood in his heart, but he grabbed Ma Xiaoding on the surface and sneered, “What kind of times are we living in, for you to try this trick? In my territory, I won’t be scared even if the king comes.”

“Brother Yu––!”

Ma Xiaoding was beyond anger! In his mind, Song Yu had always been like a porcelain doll that would break when touched.

What if something happened! How could he explain it to his father! The Meng Family had shown them a life-saving grace, how could he explain this to Madame Meng!

Dirty Ponytail yelled towards the back, “Hold these kids down, don’t let them help.”

Ma Xiaoding was so anxious that his eyes were about to turn red. He tried to break free from Dirty Ponytail’s hold, “F*cking let me go! Meng Family! If you provoke him, you’ll offend the Meng Family––!”

Dirty Ponytail sneered.

In fact, for the common people, the words ‘the Meng Family’ were too distant. Those who weren’t in the circle wouldn’t be clear about it.

Ma Xiaoding’s heart was full of despair. He regretted it, he regretted calling Brother Yu over directly without first understanding the situation, leading him to kick an iron plate this time.

On the other hand, Xie Sui wasn’t very anxious. He stood there beside him, his dark eyes reaching far into the distance. He was as cool and indifferent as the first snow, but he was also watching seriously. He always felt that… this child could give him many surprises.

There was a scuffle at the billiards table.

“Crazy idiot!”

“I’m calling you crazy––ah!”

What rang out were the tragic yells from the youths. There was the sound of a breaking arm, accompanied by a scream.

He was incredibly fierce when he kicked people, and his movements seemed to bring the wind with him.

Song Yu looked at them and recalled his rebellious and wanton student days.

His family background in his original world had been pretty good. He was the third generation of a military family and grew up in a compound in the military region. His fighting skills and physical strength weren’t weak, and after encountering kidnappers as a child, his family had placed more emphasis on his self-protection training.

Even though all of these skills were used to increase his prestige as the school bully during his middle school period…

Song Yu was really able to fight and hold his own against this group of gangsters who only relied on numbers to create momentum, but were in fact both useless and afraid of death.

Now that he was living in school, he didn’t have to worry about making Grandma Meng worry because he’d come back bloody.

So, Song Yu’s moves were even more unscrupulous.

Ma Xiaoding and his group were all scared silly.

They stared dazedly at the teenager standing at the edge of the billiards table beneath the cold lights.

His fighting was like floating clouds and flowing water with a cue stick in hand. He beat down whoever came up, and if two people charged in, he’d beat them both. He was shockingly powerful and nobody could catch him. His actions were quick and fierce, like a wild wolf.

Song Yu kicked away a man with his foot, his lips curled coldly, then pulled down Plaid Shirt’s neck and pressed his head down onto the billiards table.

At the end of the day, the gangsters were greedy about living and afraid to die. After seeing all kinds of tragedies fall upon the people ahead of them, they ignored Plaid Shirt’s roars and looked at each other, not daring to go up and attack anymore.

“Damn you!”

Plaid Shirt had never expected that a teenager who looked so weak would have so much strength. He was so angry he was gnashing his teeth, “Laozi still has people who haven’t come out! You won’t be able to step out of this door alive.”

Song Yu tsked and smiled as he said, “Brother, do you understand the current situation? It’s not a question of whether you let us go or not, but a question of whether I want to leave or not.”

“It’s good that you locked the door.”

He applied strength with his hand and Plaid Shirt’s head hit the billiards table again. The young man screamed while Song Yu laughed, “Based on your younger brother’s character, I figure you’re nothing good, either. Today, since we’re here, we’ll keep you here and beat you up.”

With that last phrase, his lips hooked up. His eyes were narrowed, and his momentum was astonishingly fierce.

Plaid Shirt roared, “Guys!! Guys!! Get the hell out here for me!! Get out here!!”

The fighting in the hall was in full swing, but the songs playing from the music bar room were still playing very loudly. Plaid Shirt’s roar was almost loud enough to shake the floors.

Finally, there was movement from inside.

“What the hell is going on, Laozi was having a great time playing cards.”

Several people stepped out from the bar room.

Plaid Shirt’s small eyes filled with malice, “You want to fight with me? My brothers are all here. They use real knives when they fight! You’re f*cking done for!”

Real knives?

Song Yu laughed carelessly, “Last time someone spoke to me about real knives, they ended up sitting at the police station. Let me have a look and see, whose knives are faster?”

“What’s going on!”

A group of people came out of the music bar and walked through the corridor. Their hair was dyed into dazzling colors, and the one at the front had bright red hair. The scar on his face became particularly obvious as he came closer.

Song Yu looked over.

Red Hair looked at them.

“……”

“…………”

Acquaintances meet.

There was a long silence.

Plaid Shirt slapped the table angrily, “Laozi is being challenged. You guys normally eat and drink for nothing. Now, why aren’t you coming over to kill these young sniveling brats?”

Red Hair stood still and stared at Song Yu’s face.

Song Yu smiled first, “Yo, my sons.”

Red Hair and the other colored hair men behind him, “……”

Last time, they’d been beaten up by Xie Sui in the alleyway, and it had left a psychological shadow on them. Xie Sui hadn’t blinked when stabbing him in the arm, and after being stabbed and beaten, they’d been sent to prison with a belly full of suffering that couldn’t be told to others.

Then, he looked at Song Yu’s current posture and the group of frightened trash around him.

He could tell that this one wasn’t easy to deal with either.

Both of them were prickly hedgehogs.

They were fierce and fearless when they fought, knew how to report to the police, and they were f*cking underage.

Red Hair, who’d just been released from the police’s grasp, really didn’t want to see Song Yu again.

Chapter 21.3 – Meeting Acquaintances

Plaid Shirt was a little confused by the atmosphere.

Red Hair stared at the situation in front of him for a long time and didn’t know what to do.

He glanced behind him; some of his young followers were still wounded. They looked at Song Yu like they’d seen a god of plague and very consciously stepped back a little.

Red Hair: “……”

Song Yu had already let Plaid Shirt go.

Plaid Shirt no longer had the energy to go up and establish his authority. He retreated, gasping for air.

Chen Zhijie was also retreating, his face pale.

After recovering his breath, Plaid Shirt pointed to Song Yu and roared at Red Hair, “Him! Just him! Aren’t you guys a group of street gangsters from Lianyun Street! Now you’re afraid of dealing with just a high school student! This son of a bitch came and challenged me!”

Red Hair’s lips twitched, making the scar on his face seem even more ferocious, “Came to challenge, ah…”

Everyone in the room held their breath to listen, but then they saw Red Hair tilt his head and say slowly to Plaid Shirt, “… Why don’t we go call the police.”

As soon as he said this, the air around them fell silent.

Plaid Shirt was so angry he blew up like a puffer fish. He really wished he could go up and punch Red Hair in the face, but he ultimately retained some rationality and roared, “Call the police?! Call the police over here to arrest all of us?”

Red Hair’s expression was stiff for a few seconds, but his mood was very clear from his eyes. They seemed to say, ‘Laozi doesn’t want to deal with this situation’.

The group of gangsters in the room, including those lying on their back and whining, all experienced the same mix of fear and confusion at this moment.

They’d originally thought that it was a sheep who’d sent themselves into the tiger’s mouth, but unexpectedly,  they’d led a wild wolf into their own den.

Inviting a god inside was easy, but sending them back out was difficult; now, this god of plague was still here!

Dirty Ponytail was also confused by the way this situation had developed. The hand that had been holding Ma Xiaoding down loosened subconsciously.

Ma Xiaoding’s expression wasn’t much better than his. He rubbed at his eyes with both hands, afraid that he was dreaming.

Holy sh*t! Was Brother Yu so fierce?!

Although Chen Zhijie was a self-claimed No.1 High school bully, he always hung out with a group of followers and relied on his superior numbers to bully his classmates.

Even without mentioning Song Yu, Chen Zhijie was unable to beat any of Red Hair’s followers. When faced with this situation, he was pale and trembling as he hid behind his big brother. He didn’t dare to say a word.

As for Zhu Zhixing, who acted as one of his followers.

He was so scared that he’d fainted.

Song Yu supported himself with one hand and jumped up to sit on the table. He held the cue stick and smiled as he looked at Red Hair, “I heard that you fight with real knives?”

“The kind that draws blood?”

Red Hair: “…………”

At this moment, the scars on his face seemed to reveal some of the vicissitudes of life.

“Boss, what should we do…”

Green Hair took a trembling step forward and asked hesitantly.

Red Hair looked back at him with a heart that was as dead as ashes.

He didn’t want to say anything.

He wanted to light up a cigarette.

Plaid Shirt’s eyes were wide and incredulous, “You guys are actually afraid of him?! It’s just a high school brat!”

Red Hair shot him a fierce glare. At the end of the day, he’d once been a street thug and his momentum was still there.

Plaid Shirt’s throat tensed up at his glare. He choked his words back and didn’t say anything else, but his face was flushed as he turned his head to stare fixedly at Song Yu.

When Red Hair encountered Song Yu before, they’d rushed in to find trouble with them twice and ended up in trouble themselves.

Now that Song Yu had come to challenge them, his inner despair overflowed into a river.

He gritted his teeth, then tried to squeeze out an expression that looked like he was smiling at his father’s killer. “This… little friend.”

Song Yu smiled, stroked the cue stick, and said politely, “Don’t do that, little brother. I won’t pick a fight with you today, so don’t try this act with me.”

Red Hair: “……”

Everyone: He’s! Really! F*cking! Crazy!

In Ma Xiaoding’s mind, his image of Song Yu was broken down and rebuilt, going from a clay Buddha to a living King of Hell.

Brother Yu was badass!

Look at that sitting posture, that tone of speech, that cold and ruffian smile. Ma Xiaoding felt that the three years he’d spent as a school bully in junior high school was just like being a housewife in comparison.

Song Yu lifted his chin, his eyes landing on Chen Zhijie. His lips curved up, and his voice was slow as he mocked, “Snooker, wanna play? Do I now have the qualifications to decide the penalties for winning and losing?”

Have the qualifications to decide?

It was like a hot and spicy slap on the face.

Chen Zhijie bowed his head and shivered all over. He didn’t dare to say a single word, hiding himself in the shadows.

Red Hair looked left and right and was basically clear about the situation. He coughed and tried to make his voice soft, hypnotizing himself to believe that he was a close brother.

“Oh, hey! How is this a big deal! Isn’t it just a conflict between students? How did it become such a big thing?”

It was just that he looked fierce and threatening, so when he put on this amiable appearance, it was both twisted and strange. The crowd of people who were watching found it so creepy that the hair on the back of their necks rose up.

Red Hair slapped Chen Zhijie on the shoulder, hard enough to shake his entire body. His lips curled up and he smiled broadly like a fox, “Little Chen, it’s not that big brother is telling you off, but you’re from the same school, and you’ll be supporting each other when you enter society in the future. Go ahead, if there’s a misunderstanding, then apologize. If there’s no misunderstanding, then explain things clearly. Go and shake hands with your classmates and we’ll consider this matter finished! Everyone can even sit down together to play games and drink.”

Chen Zhijie: “……”

Plaid Shirt: “……”

Everyone: “……”

You’re a f*cking high and lofty street bully, yet you’re not going out to toy with little girls and rob middle school students. Instead, you’re acting like an old lady?!!

It was the first time Red Hair had done this kind of thing. The more the people beside him looked at him, the guiltier he felt. Finally, he grew angry and gave up.

He stamped a foot onto the table and exposed his true nature, “What the hell do you want me to do!? Last time, this guy sent Laozi to the police station! Don’t you know to run if you can’t win?! Damn it, Laozi isn’t gonna care about this! Greenie, we’re leaving!”

Plaid Shirt was about to die from anger, “You––!”

Chen Zhijie’s face turned white. He bowed his head and his shoulders shriveled up further.

Red Hair’s gaze looked straight ahead. He didn’t even look at Song Yu as he headed to the door without acknowledging a relationship with anyone. He swept aside the gangster blocking the door, swearing and cursing as he left.

His little followers swallowed hard. They also ignored Plaid Shirt’s fury as they quickly followed behind him. They didn’t want to be in the same room with the god of plague at all.

However, they were still very arrogant as they left, as if they were looking down on people from their noses as they walked.

They closed the door behind them.

“Oh-ho!”

There were several consecutive bangs, followed by the sound of people clattering down the stairs.

Each step seemed to carry liberation and joy.

Inside.

“……”

Ma Xiaoding’s admiration for Song Yu rose up again, and there were now stars in his eyes.

Xie Sui stood in the shadows, looking silently at Song Yu. His dark, calm eyes were thoughtful.

At this point, the situation had reached a deadlock.

Right now, everything was in Song Yu’s hands. Nobody could intervene with his decision regardless of whether he chose to retreat or press on.

Ma Xiaoding finally started to feel bold and elated. Just now, he’d been humiliated and ridiculed by the crowd, but now he spoke in a louder voice, “Brother Yu!”

Were they going to kick up a big ruckus now? Would they become legends on this street from now on?!!

Ma Xiaoding, who was still going through an immature period, was rubbing his hands in glee.

Yet as a result, his Brother Yu jumped off the table and tossed aside the cue stick.

His actions were dashing and direct. He paid no attention to Plaid Shirt and Chen Zhijie and went step by step toward the corner, his eyes staring at Zhu Zhixing, who quickly pasted himself against a crack in the wall.

Today was definitely a nightmare day for Zhu Zhixing. From childhood till now, this was his most fearful and desperate day.

Even the feeling of being targeted by an evil spirit wouldn’t be as scary as what he felt now.

Song Yu: “You’re Zhu Zhixing?”

Zhu Zhixing’s legs went soft and he was so scared that he slid directly to the ground. His eyes were wide and unfocused, and his brain was filled with nothing but the words, “I’m done for.”

Plaid Shirt was also stunned. He’d just been racking his brain thinking about how to send off this god of plague.

However, he’d never thought that this person had never taken them seriously at all.

Ma Xiaoding followed over and leaned in.

Song Yu glanced at Zhu Zhixing on the ground and commanded, “Take him out for me.”

Ma Xiaoding no longer defined himself as a knight, but as a little follower. After listening to Song Yu’s words, Ma Xiaoding was delighted to have something to do, “Got it!”

When Song Yu passed by Chen Zhijie, he stopped and placed his slender fingers on the table. His face was expressionless as he turned his head, the teenager’s pale eyes reflecting the cold lights. His lips curled and he laughed, “Chen Zhijie? School bully?”

“Are you only able to support your vanity by trampling on others?”

Chen Zhijie was so scared he didn’t even dare to breathe loudly.

Song Yu tapped on the billiards table and smiled slightly, “Don’t mess with me, fool.”

“If I see you again, I’ll play with your head like a billiards ball.”
