Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband

"Where are we going?" Jiang Yang asked as they sat in the car. 

"The mall," Lu Qiang replied.

"Hmm! we can get a nice dress for her," Jiang Yang suggested, and Lu Qiang added, "My friend An Tian, who is also a designer, is not in the country, or our job would be easy."

"Don't worry. We will manage it," Jiang Yang assured.

Lu Qiang and Jiang Yang went to one of the most expensive foreign brand designer cloth showroom. The store manager was happy to see Lu Qiang in his store as he welcomed and personally attended them. 

Lu Qiang looked at Jiang Yang as asking 'What to buy?'

Jiang Yang replied in a shallow voice, "Why are you looking at me? You have to select it on your own. It's the birthday of your woman, not mine".

Lu Qiang shot him an unpleasant look and spoke annoyingly, "I don't know what she likes; that's why I brought you here with me."

It didn't affect Jiang Yang, "I have already been doing it for the last eight years. Now it's your turn, so don't even think about bothering me. Moreover, She will like anything you gift her; even a burlap sack will do."

Lu Qiang sighed deeply, seeing Jiang Yang teasing him, but Jiang Yang was serious. 

Patting Lu Qiang's shoulder lightly, he assured, "Trust me."

Lu Qiang shrugged his shoulders and asked, "Okay! Just help me with the size, then?"

Jiang Yang shook his head and slyly smiled, "What was the use of leaving both of you alone in my home?"

Lu Qiang looked at him, annoyingly, "You are an a**hole."

As usual, nothing could affect Jiang Yang as he turned even shameless, "No need to praise me again and again, darling. I know how much you like me."

Lu Qiang couldn't help but frown.

"Now, you are behaving like my sister. Those annoyed and frowned expressions, I love it," Jiang Yang commented just to annoy Lu Qiang even more.

Lu Qiang had nothing to say. Turning towards the showroom manager, he told him what he was looking for and asked him to show their latest collection. 

Knowing it was a golden opportunity to make a big sale, the manager instructed sales assistants and brought out the best and most expensive collection in their store.

Lu Qiang went through it, while Jiang Yang stood there watching him as he wanted Lu Qiang to do everything on his own for Jiang Yuyan.

He wished on his sister's birthday; these two should reconcile and clear the misunderstanding between them. Jiang Yang could have done it, but he believed to give them time to realize their feelings and better understand each other by solving the problems between them. He wanted to create an opportunity when these two fools couldn't avoid each other.

Lu Qiang finally picked up a lavender color dress, which he liked and showed it to Jiang Yang.

Jiang Yang gave expressions like he didn't know and shrugged his shoulders with his hands tucked in his pockets.

Lu Qiang sighed and looked at the dress again. He was confused about the size, but finally, Jiang Yang stepped forward and helped him. Later they chose matching accessories and footwear. 

Lu Qiang asked the manager to pack the dress and other stuff that he had selected and handed him over his black card. 

Once they finished, Jing Yang warned, "This is the first, and the last time I am helping you with this."

"There won't be any next time, as I will use my next good time to know her thoroughly. You only need to inform me about the emergency in the hospital." Came the mocking reply from the cold man as he moved to the couch and sat there to wait for the things to get packed.

Jiang Yang was taken aback after hearing his reply as he didn't expect this kind of response from Lu Qiang. Getting back to his senses, Jiang Yang sat beside Lu Qiang as he spoke. 

"Thoroughly? Hmmm! I am sure, at least you will be confident about her dress size next time".

Lu Qiang thought, his bold words might stop Jiang Yang's shamelessness, just like he always did with his grandpa, but he understood one thing for sure that no one can stop these two. 

"You are not bothered at all, even if I talked about her so boldly. She is your sister….."

"A sister, whom I handled as a mother, care for her baby. I am her everything for the last eight years. Even when she had her periods the first time and didn't know what to do, I was the one to guide her." 

Jiang Yang interrupted Lu Qiang as he looked way too serious, and that bold and shameless Jiang Yang was nowhere.

Lu Qiang could sense the change in Jiang Yang whenever they talked about Jiang Yuyan's past. 

"Was her condition that bad?" Lu Qiang asked.

Jiang Yang looked at the floor as he nodded, "Hmm! She never allowed anyone near her other than me, not even my parents. Even doctors pulled their hands back. For three years, I couldn't even think about leaving her alone."

On hearing this, Lu Qiang's face dropped, "At such a difficult time in her life, I was not around to her."

Jiang Yang patted his shoulder, "Don't feel bad about it. Even if you were there, it wouldn't be of no use."

The showroom's manager arrived with two gift boxes wrapped in a beautiful, baby pink color attractive gift wrapping paper.

It was almost late in the afternoon, so finally they decide to take a break for lunch and went to one nearby restaurant for lunch. When they waited for lunch to arrive, something flashed in Jiang Yang's mind, and he smiled.

"It feels like I am on a date with my sister's boyfriend. We did everything that the couple should do. What do you think?" Jiang Yang winked as he looked at Lu Qiang.

Lu Qiang put the chopsticks in his hands down on the table, as he shot a killer gaze to Jiang Yang, "I'll prefer to go to the Himalaya and spend my whole life as celibate instead of going on a date with you."

"Ahhh! That was so rude. You broke my heart. My heart is bleeding," Jiang Yang patted the left side of his chest, having a sad puppy-like expression.

"What an eyesore!"
