“Spit it out, where did you two go just now? And why did the two of you skip class together?” 

Little Princess had taken them to the corroder right outside the classroom and got straight to the point.

I will only be teaching ordinary students who haven’t differentiated in your third year. So I will not be in charge of you two then. Li Yong got excited when he saw Yao Jin walking towards the back with a book in her arms, but his smile quickly froze when he saw Jin Siming’s reaction. 

He stared at Jin Siming’s expressionless, yet still exquisite, side face. Her head was bowed down as she seriously worked on her assignment. Her indifference made Li Yong turn into a living lemon full of jealousy. 

However, at this moment, Jin Siming, who appeared to be working on her questions seriously, has actually been absent-mindedly staring at the same multiple-choice question for a long time. 

The quiet noises coming from behind her from time to time easily disrupted her thoughts and so she took out the earplugs she used for napping to isolate herself from outside noises. 

It wasn’t until the school bell rang that she finally slumped her shoulders and breathed a sigh of relief. She didn’t even wait for Su Xiaohang to join her, as she hurriedly said goodbye before rushing out of the classroom with her bag.

Her face was so beautiful in this lighting that people couldn’t move their eyes off of her. Su Xiaohang was also affected by her beauty and subconsciously felt uneasy looking at Yao Jin. 

After all, that desk in the very back has always been empty and now suddenly a certain someone plans to stay here for a long time. This Yao Jin, they might have more interactions with each other in the future….

With this thought in mind, Su Xioahang swiveled around to face Yao Jin directly and grinned awkwardly at her.

And with Mother Jin’s temper, that meant she was woken up too and then forced to pack up together with her brother before being dropped off at school together. 

Jin Siming sat down and yawned loudly several times. Slowly, the classroom filled up as people around her arrived one after another. 

Of course, among them was also Yao Jin. 

Ever since Yao Jin moved to the back, their little “vacuum” of empty-space, their isolated corner of the room, had its barrier broken. Now, people “drop by” all the time.

She followed the sound of the voice only to look up and see Chen Mianmian standing in the aisle next to her. She was leaning over, staring at the black gel pen in Jin Siming’s hand with bright eyes. 

She looked down at her pen. It was clearly an ordinary black pen with plastic casting. The type was sold in boxes at the school’s convenience store with each box costing only a dozen yuan. 

“The convenience store downstairs.”
