“Qin Chuxuan picked this up for you.”

Jin Siming was lying down on her desk, staring in a daze at her history textbook, when suddenly a student ID was thrown onto her desk. She found it had her name written on it when she took a closer look.

She lowered her head and searched her clothes. The place where she usually wore her student ID as a badge on her neck was indeed empty. It seems she really had lost it at some point.

Jin Siming raised her head, a gust of a wind carrying a sweet scent passing by as Yao Jin walked by after dropping off her things.

She hesitated for a moment as she held her ID before finally turning around and saying to Yao Jin, “Thank you.”

Yao Jin slightly lowered her head, refusing to look at her as she said expressionlessly, “You don’t need to thank me, after all I wasn’t the one who picked it up.”

“….”

Faced with a cold wall, Jin Siming didn’t say anything else and quickly turned back around.

She pursed her lips. Yao Jin’s cold tone just now made her feel a little uncomfortable. Compared to how she acted in the hallway, this hot and then cold attitude was starting to make her feel a little angry. Although she didn’t know why she was angry, her heart felt a little depressed.

Yao Jin was so proactive and enthusiastic just a few seconds ago, but now she was as cold as ice. Could Yao Jin be bipolar?

Jin Siming was feeling wronged in her heart. Her mood was easily swayed by Yao Jin’s every action, and it was difficult to control the mood swings.

Especially during her rut right now. She had dreamed about Yao Jin for more than one night now and each dream didn’t have a specific plotline, only scattered fragments. Sometimes it was pictures of the other party’s beautiful, long and fair legs. Other times it was visions of her charming eyes, and there were some panting scenes too…..

Jin Siming felt ashamed just thinking of those scenes, to the point where she wanted to harshly slap herself twice!

Wuwu! She has become dirty! She’s no longer pure! What’s the difference between her dreams and those Alphas who only have Omegas on their minds?

As Jin Siming laid on her table in frustration with her head on her arms, a hard object suddenly hit her across the forehead. She looked up and found a deep mark made by chalk on her desk. She raised her eyes to find her history teacher glaring at her from the podium.

“Jin Siming, how many times is this already? Why do you keep daydreaming lately? Go outside and clear your mind before coming back in.”

As soon as the history teacher finished speaking, the eyes of the entire class shifted onto Jin Siming. She had no other choice but to stand up and leave through the back door.

This was her first time being punished and forced to stand outside. She leaned against the walk outside the classroom, glancing over the edge at the scenery downstairs. With the background noise of teachers from various classes lecturing she was suddenly feeling much calmer.

As her thoughts drifted further and farther away like the many clouds in the sky, the sound of students reciting from a textbook brought her back to her senses.

She glanced through the window to look at her history teacher sitting at the podium. His thinning hair revealed the shiny baldness at the top of his head. He nodded along as the students below him recited from the books. They were approaching the end of the semester, so most of the remaining class time was spent on following the usual routine of reviewing and memorizing the material.

Jin Siming moved her gaze away and swayed her legs leisurely as she leaned against the wall. A moment later, she noticed someone approaching her from the empty hallway to her left. She turned her head to find Qin Chuxuan coming over with a stack of books in her arms.

“Why are you standing out here?” Qin Chuxuan stopped in front of her, and looked at her curiously with her beautiful peach blossom eyes.

Jin Siming coughed embarrassingly, “Because…I’m being punished.”

Qin Chuxuan blinked and covered her mouth as a light smile appeared on her face, “You look like such a good student, I never thought you’d be punished to stand outside?”

Her words reminded Jin Siming the reason behind her punishment and she blushed as she rubbed the tip of her nose. She quickly changed the subject: “What about you? Why are you here? You should be in class right now.”

Qin Chuxuan showed her the books in her hands, “It’s the self-study period for our class right now, so I’m helping the teacher grab some teaching materials from the teachers’ office.”

“Oh….”

Jin Siming didn’t know what else to say. She was always someone who took a long time to warm up to people and often acted distant and cold to unfamiliar people.

“Wait, don’t move.”

Qin Chuxuan took another half step closer, raising her chin as she leaned up and reached out a hand to gently brush the hair on the top of Jin Siming’s head.

The faint scent of roses wafted towards her. Jin Siming finally remembered why she felt Qin Chuxuan seemed so familiar. She remembers this scent, it was the same one she smelled when she bumped into that girl in the corridor last time. The girl left an impression on her because of her beautiful, wavy, and waist-length hair.

This hairstyle looked pretty good and she wanted to ask her which hair stylist she went to.

Jin Siming stared at the other party’s long hair when Qin Chuxuan removed her hand and stepped back, “There was a bug in your hair just now.”

Jin Simign froze. She was afraid of bugs the most.

Qin Chuxuan smiled, her eyes narrowing and bending into two beautiful crescent moons, “I’ve already chased it away for you. I’ll be going back to the classroom first, bye~”

Jin Siming continued to lean against the wall as she watched Qin Chuxuan leave. She turned around after she could no longer see Qin Chuxuan only to find Yao Jin standing silently at the back door to their classroom with some books in her hands. She was staring straight at her.

She jumped a little at her sudden appearance.

Jin Simign asked, “You….why are you standing there?”

She looked around and confirmed that classes weren’t over yet.

The corners of Yao Jin’s lips rose, but her smile did not reach her eyes. She walked up to Jin Siming in two or three steps: “I thought Classmate Jin was obediently taking her punishment, but I didn’t expect to find you chatting with someone. Did you have a good chat?”

Jin Siming frowned and was about to retort fiercely, but her anger quickly subsided as she gazed at Yao Jin’s breathtakingly beautiful face, the same one that was capable of bringing down countries.

She looked away, but was still unwilling to back down without a fight, so she whispered, “What’s that got to do with you?”

To be honest, it’s quite normal for her and Yao Jin to argue with each other. However, some recent events have caused her to feel that her relationship with Yao Jin has changed significantly. Even though Yao Jin’s hot and cold attitude made her feel confused, she also didn’t want to return to the previous hostile relationship they used to have.

Yao Jin was amused by her little gesture, but still felt a little prick in her heart when she thought of that scene just now where Jin Siming obediently allowed Qin Chuxuan to stroke her hair.

She sighed softly and walked to lean against the wall next to Jin Siming. She said quietly, “Haven’t you forgotten something?”

Jin Siming frowned and thought about it for a moment before asking, “What?”

“When you helped me last time you mentioned a condition that I had to agree to.”

Jin Siming immediately straightened. If Yao Jin hadn’t reminded her about this she would’ve forgotten about this trump card that she can suppress Yao Jin with! She still hasn’t used it yet!

So she thought for a while, then raised an eyebrow and said,”I almost would’ve forgotten about it if you hadn’t reminded me. Then, in the future, I want you to….grovel and curry favor with me!”

Yao Jin smiled: “Then how do you want me to grovel?”

“This…” Jin Siming leaned against the wall again, and glanced at the clouds in the sky, “It’s up to you.”

Yao Jin smiled, pursing her lips as she took out her phone and opened up the notes app, “What do you like to eat?”

“…Why do you ask?” Jin Siming gave her a strange look.

“Since I need to curry favor with you, I must know what you like and don’t like, right?”

Yao Jin raised her head, tilting it sideways as she looked up at Jin Siming and blinked her long and curled eyelashes at her. Jin Siming’s heart felt itchy, as if a kitten was scratching at it.

She looked away, her throat bobbing as she spoke, “I don’t want that kind of favor! I mean I want you…you to be more humble and gentle when you talk to me in the future, do you understand?”

In other words, she wants her to stop fighting with her.

“Oh~” Yao Jin let out a long “oh” sound, “You mean that Classmate Jin wants me to speak more tenderly and sweeter to you in the future, right?”

After she finished speaking, she looked like she had thought of something, “So turns out that Classmate Jin is interested in such things?”

Jin Siming quickly blushed and exclaimed after seeing her words get twisted, “That’s not what I meant!”

“Ding-Dong~”

At this moment, the bell rang to signal the end of class and it suddenly got noisy as students flooded into the hallway.

The history teacher came out of the front and Jin Siming quickly shut her mouth to stand up straight. Yao Jin placed one of the two books in her hands into her arms and then turned to enter the classroom again.

Jin Siming stared at her history textbook that was now in her arms, feeling a little dumbfounded.

She belatedly realized, did Yao Jin come out just now just to give her the textbook?

More and more people entered the hallway and Jin Sming stood there holding the book for a while. The history teacher looked over at her, raising his chin and gestured to the classroom before leaving.

She turned and entered the classroom.

When she went in, she saw that Yao Jin’s seat in the back was empty. She scanned around the classroom, quickly looking away when she saw her at Gao Mei’s desk.

“Ah! Ming-bao!” Su Xiaohang quickly came over and pulled her back to her seat after seeing her come in, “Are your legs tired from standing? Are you thirsty? This is your first time getting punished, how do you feel?”

Jin Siming could tell that Su Xiaohang was up to her old antics again. The corners of her mouth twitched as she pulled back her arm, “How do I feel about being punished? Of course I only feel remorse and regret.”

Su Xiaohang leaned closer and whispered in a sly tone, “Just now, when everyone was told to read and study by themselves, Beauty Yao grabbed your textbook and then went out. So, how did it go? Did you have a good chat with her?”

Jin Siming tsked, poking Su Xiaohang’s forehead and causing her to quickly move back.

“I’ve found that your words have been a bit strange recently. What are you trying to say?”

Su Xiaohang rubbed the back of her head and said with a dry laugh, “Haha, it’s nothing, it was just a question I had on my tongue. Oh, right, I overheard the class president telling Yao Jin that the head teacher wanted her to move back to her original seat. Did you know about this?”

Jin Siming was cleaning up her desk and paused her movements as she replied nonchalantly, “I didn’t know. What’s the matter?”

Su Xiaohang sighed, “Ai, it’s nothing. Final exams are approaching and some teachers reported that because Beauty Yao was sitting in the back, some people spent the entire class staring at her instead of paying attention. Apparently it’s affecting their studying. Jin-Jin is so pitiful to be implicated for doing nothing.”

Jin Siming’s heart stuttered for a beat. She doesn’t….look back often, right?

Then Su Xiaohang slowly added “Hmph, it was Li Yong and his other friends. In fact, they were “invited” out for a talk just now.”

Li Yong and a few of the other athletic students, who had just been scolded by their teacher, came in with dejected faces. They suddenly felt a chill go down their backs. When they looked up, they saw Jin Siming staring coldly at them from her seat.
